Mass Exodus

I would have quit if they had made FiRF a coalition event. Did they learn nothing from the whole EC debacle? We don't want to slog through drawn out games to achieve lame objectives that force all decks for the event to be very similar. I used the three best vehicles I have in every node and it gets boring. At least skipping this is an option.0

In the recent player survey, I have already 'warned' the developers they're going to lose players at the rate this is going.
I guess it's a little bit too late for everyone. I think Hibernum needs to relook into their process of creating, updating and releasing of game content.
Some suggestions take too long to implement. Not everyone is willing to wait months. Especially when there are other games out there in the market.0 -

Also it seems they have their own priority list that is very different than the community's.
The reasons people are quitting have been echoed over and over on these forums and they largely get ignored.
For instance -- the recent wave happened over NOP this week and last week. I admit there are some people who like the new NOP, but so many things about it don't resonate with the masses. Even simple things like making it a 15 charge 22 hour event. For a player who works in Europe or the U.K., the entire last charge happens while they are at work.
Matchmaking is a mess. We've had 4 events this week and no deckslots. It's getting very tedious -- and I imagine it's even worse for players who don't have a great Slack or Discord community.0 -

That's very true. I have read back over many months of the same complaints (yes I know it's sad what I do with my free time) and it seems like very rarely is anything changed in a way that is reflective of what the community wants. There have been some changes, like an initial cheater purge and new events with harder objectives (although those also weren't well received), and there are things supposedly coming like deck slots, so kudos to the dev team for the work they have done.
But as a whole it does seem that we are ignored. Why? What exactly is on their priority list?
One thing that has been asked for is better communication from the devs. Not just a one post thread but open and involved conversations. That would be a great start and would go a long way towards generating better moral and better relations between the players and the developers.0 -

A 6 hour window is better than a 4 hour one. This was a positive change. It just happened to shift the advantage to a different timezone.0 -

This would be a partially valid argument if it were the same event.
Old NOP had a max score of 350 with 5 points per game -- missing the last set of charges would still give you almost 93% if you had a perfect score. In fact, my team had a player who always missed his first set and he still consistently scored over 90%
New NOP has a max score of 105 with 7 points per game. Missing the last set gives you just under 67% with a perfect score.
You're comparing apples and oranges here.0 -

Last I checked the UK is an island -- technically the 9th largest in the world -- but not at all attached to the continent / mainland. Considering it part of the continent is a geographical generalization because technically it's as much part of Europe as Greenland or the Bahamas are part of North America or New Zealand is part of Australia -- they are all their own entities.
My differentiation was actually intended on a time zone basis however -- most of Europe is +1 from the UK -- with the exception of very Western players. This matters in my argument.0 -

Come join us! It's great down here! And the timers on everything are great! 8PM final recharge for pvp and 1pm finish/start for QB0 -

You need to do what I do - arrive at work about 10/15 mins early and go to the toilet at 9am for a while0 -

So the complaint isn't about the last node recharge but about the length of the event?
In that case, I agree. Reducing the number of games drastically has caused more problems than it solved.
But that's what the community wanted isn't it?0 -
Please do extend the length of the time between the last refresh and the end of the event to 12 hours. Then no one needs to give up sleep to get a shot at all the nodes refreshes. This would be the biggest quality of life improvement for me you can make (even more than deckslots.and that's saying something).0

I'm totally ok with the length of the event being so short, but only because I don't really like it.0 -

@mainloop did you like old NOP -- were you ok with it being longer?0
