One of the things I really love about this game is the people I've played with for the last year. Those of us who engaged when there really wasn't much to engage in and have weathered so many changes good and bad -- and now a lot of those people are talking about leaving for all the same reasons.

--- Failure of mods to engage in the community.

---Long time members getting banned for lesser offenses than frequent trolls.

---Lack of diversity in events.

---Non-event decks in events.

---Failure to fix bugs.

---Fixing something (ie game speed) and then breaking it again.

---Lack of diversity in event and QB prizes -- seriously -- there's 93 mythics in this game but we only get to pull from a pool of 6??

So I want to say to those who are considering leaving -- it's really been a pleasure seeing this thing through with you -- and I hope you'll stay; because I know everytime D3 lets me down, YOU bring me back up.

I, for one, am on the verge of quitting due to exactly these reasons.

Same here. I used to aim for top 5 quite often, but I've given up on that this past month. I can't speak on the morale of others, but mine is pretty low here. One of the main reasons I stay is that I convinced a friend to try the game and join my coalition and I don't want to leave them here alone. Eventually it won't be enough to keep me around.

    Hopefully things change soon.

I know I have already slowed down because of other reasons, but now with the events now I hit the event rewards and basically almost stop. With this event I am not going towards secondary objectives this round because I can't stand it anymore.

I have decided to quit, for these reasons and more. I found a different game that IMO is better in nearly every aspect, it's called Evoker. I'll stick around on slack and monitor the new updates and such, if the game is worthwhile playing again I'll come back. I've thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this community and I wish you all well.

Wonder if I'll get banned for this post o-o

    Farewell.
  • It's been weeks upon weeks since I have gotten a new card let alone a useable one, when I could easily get 1 or 2 minimum per big box.
Now nothing but crappie and nothing but dupes.
    So sad
Thato is what keeps our decks fresh and playable and keeps this game fresh.
It is so sad that this company does not give a sh*t especially when it has been screamed about for weeks upon weeks.
What is wrong with you all?!

I tried Evoker coz of your post. It is poor. I don't think they have anything to fear icon_e_wink.gif

Multiple people have taken a break from the game and left my coalition specifically due to Em's Corruption event.

Saw her a couple of times between last night and this morning. My guess is people didn't buy because she was useless in the event for completing objectives. After they got the rewards though, they bought her and jammed her in their QB decks. I saw her coming out in Kiora and Koth decks that were suspiciously devoid of other Eldrazi/objective cards.

She also does not flip a losing game unlike Olivia, who heavily pumps your board and bundles a hefty life swing as well.

She's pure offence, and frequently swings in twice before you can take her out. When combined with deploy, she's very deadly.

    Deploy + Olivia + Emrakul x2 = thanks for a quick game.

Olivia by herself doesn't stop the opponent from acting on his next turn.

Pair it with Emrakul, and you can usually get 2 turns of free attacks with Olivia and Emrakul on the board with no counterattacks.

Emrakul breaks stalemates as well. Ever watch your opponent sitting on 4, 5, or 6 bounce + removal spells? Sit there and fill your hand with mana then boom: lay down Emrakul + everything else and you can break the match.

So for one good reason or another or another, people are once again leaving the game or taking a break. This is an older thread but still very relevant.

How many good players have to leave before the devs take notice and actively do something to fix the issues? Maybe that haven't noticed? Maybe the number of new players coming in outweighs the number of players getting out? Is it just then quantity over quality?

I have had 3 members in the last two weeks quit on me that have been in my coalition since coalitions were a thing.

Change the drop rates back to what they were prior to KLD and make the events more fun by removing the ridiculous event objectives like hard casting 5 vehicles on an event which enrages!
  • Many of my coalition, including me, just saty playing cuz we love magic and our family friendship atmosphere.

If we were alone, I would quit be 3 month a go.

The game is getting worst and worst : making elite more elitist cuz they got the chance to play since the beggining of the game and are good deck builders (with the old cards it looks easy but not that much) and begineer are poor and poorer cuz events are hard for them.

I know some people sayin "hey sidequests aren't an obligation. Just win all matchs is enough to get personnal reward", but so, why the top is running for the top ? Because the top reward help much more to improve than the pernnal reward. I hate the hypocrisy of some of top players while some of them understand the difficulty of lower players.

I'm in the middle range of player so i won't complain about it so much, but 3 month ago we were more tha 30 000 players on an event. Now we get difficulties to reach 18 000 according the oath of gatewatch that's the current event running and at this time (1st day 1h39 after start there's only 15 122 players.)

So where is the problem ? Dev are right continuing this way ? Players are right to keep complaining about ties that kill the game with the fals tie braker sidequest killer ?

With the most recent round of "tinykitty this game I hate NOP" quits today and yesterday, we are up to 23 top 25 players (that I know of) in the past two weeks.
