Will we get a redname comment on boss rush today?

They won't say anything about the difficultly or the format of the event, but I am curious as to whether they will address or acknowledge the point discrepancies that many people found where the node and boss clears did not take away as much health as they should have.

In my case, once I started looking for it (which wasn't until r8), I was about 50k behind where I should have been

I suspect they'll need a couple of days to analyze the data. Some people actually finished. The overriding frustration from the boards means nothing in the face of playtime and success rate.

Maybe we're all just a bunch of whiny crybabies who can't hack it. I know I am. I tapped out halfway through. They likely had some sort of target metric, and now they have data. They need to reconcile that and then filter it through PR to formulate a response.

If there is any official statement, I would guess it will either be "this is exactly what we intended, thanks for the data!" or "This event did not meet our expectations, here's a free hero token".

A bit more than halfway through full progression netted us a 3* Black Dr Doom (702,000 out of 1,200,000).

To put that in perspective, CL7 for Unstable ISO, a bit more than halfway through full progression gets us a 4* Blue Peggy (23,000 out of 44,000).

I mean I know it's a not exactly apples to apples, but it's close enough.

Will anything be done in regards to this? Some actually had to do extra clears of the boss to finish a round.

Well, something like: "we have heard your complaints and are sorry that a lot of you didnt enjoy boss rush as much as we expected. Looking at our data, we have noticed a substantially lower success rate that we anticipated, for both veterans and newer players. In fact, only X% of players beat all 3 waves in round 8 at least once. The anniversary ceoebration is meant to be just that: a celebration. In light of the fact that so many of you had a bad experience, we are going to award everyone who played at least 1 match in boss rush Y compensation. Thanks for playing and providing us with so much useful feedback!"

Not perfect, but that would be a decent start.

It was only "0.4% of the playerbase." (from the grandfathered exploit announcement)
I am going to keep using this and hopefully this catches on the same as "you are supposed to lose"
