Best thing I can tell you is to tank your MMR as low as possible. If you're aiming for a certain character, then only really fight for that particular one. IE, tank every LR except Hood rounds. Your MMR will increase fighting and winning LRs.
On the round you want, start it the SECOND the tournament starts. Fight seed teams until you get to about 150. Then keep plowing forward.


Skoll, as for sub events. I don't know yet. I haven't had a chance to read the forums to find out. And I'm waiting on an easier bracket as well.

There are no sub-events for Unstable ISO-8. Whatever main bracket you end up in is where you are the whole tourney. The nodes the first time this event ran refresh every 12 hours, and disappeared after 24. So at midnight tonight the points reset, and at noon we'll get a new set of nodes. Obviously, we won't know for certain until tonight/tomorrow afternoon.

Currently, I'm in 3rd for my bracket with 5K points. And we're in 16th overall, so that's pretty cool.

When you say it resets at 12 hrs. Does that mean a specific time like 12am. 12pm. Or 12 hrs after you deplete it.

Dropped down to 20th after the initial grind. I'm up to 5100 and I'm sitting about 550 out of the top 5. I probably won't mess with it until it resets. That works for me considering I'm tanking LRs and playing Fearless Defenders.

This is one aspect I don't fully understand yet. Since the points seem to eventually reset even if you don't completely deplete the nodes, what governs when the reset occurs? For instance, if I play through each node twice, but they're still at 200-300 points each, when will it reset? After 12 hours of not attacking anything? Or is there some other mechanism?

Think my night is over. Stopped in 1st in my bracket with 7002 points. __U__ is in 16th place with 76,449. #1 is 86,633.

Will do a full push on Fearless tomorrow. Going for 800 points. __U__ is currently 37th. So we're pretty much assured one black H(_)lk cover.

Well, now I know we've got an awesome alliance. We're currently in first by 4K. Whether we can hold on to it remains to be seen, but at the very least, I think we'll be contenders in most every event from here on out.

Yeah, I posted a screenshot in the main event thread. As of yet, despite being all forum-goers (with several of us being rather vocal), we're a mostly unknown alliance. Stealthed our way to the top, it seems.

yeah top 1..... but not too long, S.H.I.E.L.D, scavengers and all the other big alliance are now at the top...sigh....

For the record, I will be sitting out the new PVP until the very end. And even then, I'll probably only go for 4 or 500 points.

As for the PVE, I don't expect to take top 2 (too much coordination and power in the elite alliances) but I'll be surprised if we don't take top 10. Still, nice to see our name at the very top for a few brief hours.

At the moment i write this message we're back at the third place so i guess it's possible.
But i doubt w'ell be able to reach lazy cap in the progression rewards, exept if the nodes net you more points.
Maybe i should grind all the nodes to death, in the simulator 1/2 cycle of mission per day was enough to go high in the leaderboard ( ruberbanding madness!!!) it doesn't feel so easy in this event.
What is the best way to go with this event guys?
Now i have 12k points and only five days to go, i would'nt mind getting my steve.

I finally caught some downtime at work and got to grind down the new ISO missions. I seen that we got back up to 3rd. Good work everyone! I think I'm going to wait a bit before I enter the Wolverine thing. Congrats to Riggy as well.
