Hey, another ex-SKYNET'er.

I was in the alliance for like a week or something, and then saw that I'm no longer in it. I appreciate having been in SKYNET; you gave me some HP, ISO, and an extra Thor cover from the last PvE (AvE?) event. I picked the Alliance from skimming threads in this forum. I registered my screenname Friday, but my email confirmation took a week to show up.

I'm also a mid-30 year-old Android OS player, bringing a topped 2*, middling 3* roster (31 characters currently). My college mascot was the Bears, so I try to make some variation of that in my screennames.

Um, a little about my play: I'm an unapologetic lvl85 OBW player (heal, steal, and chip), and I use the Venom level 25 to heal between rounds. I rotate 85 Thor, 85 CStorm, 89 CMagneto, and Lvl 66 Ares. My guilty pleasure is a 66 Bullseye: His purple match stymies offense, and his black brings chaos. He makes a good companion to OBW and a tank/damager.

I don't spend much money on this game; only $5 since joining in November. The rest is a slow slog through the 300-tourney-point tokens and 500-point HP upgrades. I'll spend 75 HP to win 100 in a PvP event and avoid the zombie horde in the last 3 hours. I stick with Lightning Rounds long enough to get my ISO prize and silver token.

If I'm in an alliance, I'll pull my weight. Right now, I'm #5 in my Divine Heroes bracket (potential to exit it with a 4/5 Dr. Doom); and top 1-2 in both my Simulator sub-tiers. I'm getting overmatched in my MMR, but them's the breaks.

So, if y'all are willing to accept me back in, great, and I'll contribute to our leaderboard. If not, I had a good run in SKYNET and a lazyThor green to remember you by.

Well, I apologize to anyone who's been turned down or dismissed for whatever reason. One of the things about the new alliances in this game is that there is no way to coordinate or communicate in the game. So, we've got a handful of commanders that might have their own thoughts on who should be accepted or denied. Part of the purpose of this thread, along with getting to know each other better, is to try and coordinate our efforts so that we're all on the same page.

Sugoi6 started this alliance and has put a lot of effort and resources into helping it grow, but I think Sugoi would prefer to play alongside everyone instead of trying to manage the team. So as of now, I'm trying to take the reigns and get input from everyone to figure out what our goals are and how we see this alliance developing.

So let's talk shop:
From the looks of it, we've filled our 20 man roster. Hooray! Congratulations to everyone that's on team SKYNET. To those of you that have been left off; I'm sorry, and it's certainly nothing personal. There's very little information in the game to go by for picking one stranger over another. I can't speak for the other commanders, but it all seems kind of random to me at this point.

Going forward: I definitely want to be competitive as an alliance. We did pretty good in the last event, and we seem to be doing well early on in the new Cap event. But I don't want people to feel pressured to constantly justify their spot in the alliance. I'm just hoping for a group of active players who are supportive of each other and have fun with the game. I like winning, but sometimes real life comes first.

Also, I really want us to get to know one another a little better. So if you're on the forums, say hi and share your thoughts. Hopefully soon, we'll have in game chat and maybe some other features to feel more connected.

So please, tell me what you think of SKYNET and anything you think we can do to improve it.

I think that we are doing fairly well for being a group of random players. We are currently ranked 9th alliance wise in the main bracket and both subs! I personally am 2nd in my main bracket, 4th in my normal sub, and first in my hard mode sub.

Out of curiosity, what does everyone think of the new Lazy Cap? I'm still trying to decide if I like his addition or not.

I hated the idea at first, but it looks like they reworked his powers to make them usable.
I had actually never used **Cap up until this recent Juggs Heroic. My roster was so horribly limited that I went ahead and tried my level 6 Cap. He's actually somewhat useful against a team of goons just for his ability to overwrite countdown tiles. However, he's still just a one trick pony, and you might as well use someone that can actually kill people.
With that said, depending on how Lazy Cap's powers scale, he might be the go to guy for PvE (once spiderman's nerfed)

I don't really know what chat software is good or popular. If someone that knows more about it wants to set something up, I'd be happy to join in the fun.

I also wanted to brag that I cashed in the 2 standard tokens I had this morning and got a red Hulk and 25 HP.

Sounds like you guys are pretty fortunate on your main brackets. I'm top 15 in hard sub and top 10 in easy sub, but barely top 50 in my main. Only 3k back though. I'll do a hard push at the end of this round to get a better idea of where I sit.

Doom is going to be my worst round, picked up a couple more covers in the divine tourney. He's capped at level 28. I'm cover limited on him. I should be able to rock the panther and lazyThor rounds though. Hoping attrition or lack of chars help my cause in my main.

Made my push last night and ended up 2/12/17, easy/hard/overall. Dropped to 52/55/146 as I'm waiting for the refresh. I'm 5/0/2 on hulk. Very irritating how rare the red is.

I'm sitting at #3/#1/#2 and our alliance is at #6/#9/#6 at the moment. There's a lot of chatter about how awesome Ares is this event but I prefer Ast. Wolvie since he's pulling off 3750 dmg with this red.

I want to say hello to everyone with my first forum post. :

I play MPQ since 130 days and still totally addicted to this game though some of the changes d3p made. It seems I belong to the minority of european members of our alliance. So greetings from germany.
My workhorse is a lvl137 punisher supported from spider or obw. They brought me into MMR hell too, but it makes no difference then the enemies are stunned or have no resources.

I'm happy about the activity of our Alliance especially because of the random joining process. Why now someone kicked a few members I also don't understand. It can't be inactivity then I see the ranking of our alliance. I can only guess that one of the commanders wanted to invite one of his friends. Another reason I can't imagine. Let's hope that further decisions are made with more transparency. That's why I suggest that only a few commander should invite or kick members.

And I like the idea of a forum thread or chat to give the unpersonal rooster a face.

What they say about Ares I totally agree with. Two one hit killer abilities and one aoe spell makes him awesome.

My favorite combination is Punisher/OBW. I usually throw Patch in there, because he's my other highest level and he covers most of Punisher's colors. I like Ares, but I just can't get myself to level him up, especially now that Lazy Thor can fill the same roll with a higher lvl cap. He's definitely one of the best defensive characters though. If they ever make a ***Ares, I don't know if I'd be happy or scared.

Just finished my latest round of refreshes and am 1st in main, 2nd in normal sub, and 1st in hard mode. We are doing very well in all the brackets as an alliance. We are 3rd, 2nd, and 7th respectfully.
