Question: for the sake of argument, let's say that my roster is good enough for level 55, with 1k xp left over. Would I end up with exactly that, or just level 55 and no xp?

My presumption is that we'll be assigned the appropriate level of XP and that will grant the appropriate S.H.I.E.L.D. rank. Additional XP will still be there, going towards your next promotion.

If not, then anyone exceeding rank 65 would have to be "shorted" the excess XP. That'd be rough. Or instantly gain ranks when they log in after it goes live, which would defeat the cap on the grandfathering.

Hmm. You're right about the maxed ones. Could give them 65+ "enough xp to get to 66 less one" and give everyone else what they deserve to work around that. Was hoping for a red answer.

BTW, it's awfully nice of the devs to grandfather players in WITH the loot. I could see them saying everyone would be assigned a rank for the purposes of allowing them to be competitive with their "peers" and that everyone would earn awesome loot going forward and leaving it at that, right?

Based on the revealed details that
1) the rank 65 reward is 30K iso, and
2) a player has to be level 5 to have access to the full game (graduated from Prologue?) ...

I am guessing that the total iso through level 65 is somewhere between 200K iso and 450K iso.
Up to 900K iso if every level awards iso, but that would be nutty, right?

This is assuming that the rewards have a regular pattern like the champ rewards do, and that they scale up linearly. Which are both guesses, but rooted in precedent and reason.

If the iso amounts aren't linear, but increase geometrically, that would imply some truly massive iso bombs in the future.

And sure, it could be zero iso through level 64, then BOOM, 30K iso at level 65, bu that would be silly, no?

So all I care about is iso and that's my wild guess.

What else might be in there? HP/ CP? Tokens? Token packs? Fixed covers? All the usual suspects? What say ye?

This seems to be close, but not 100% accurate.

I got level 41 and my grandfathered loot was 309,500. Based on the chart you listed it would have been 333,000.

I'm close to reaching 42 and the reward for level 42 is 17,500, which is 1000 below the estimates.

It was a guess (no datamining here, honest), and assumed that the progression would be strictly linear, thinking that any sort of curve would result in ridiculously huge iso bombs at some point.

According to the shield rank help file, the iso bombs are capped at 50K. There is a *slight* curve to the progression, but since it will flatline at 50K, the unthinkable implication of 6 figure iso rewards has been averted

FYI I got 42 and 43 also shows 17,500. So it looks like it's teired, probably increases slightly ever 5-10 levels.

So I have a new guess on how this all works. My guess is you get 2500 ISO per level 1-15. From then on every 5 levels you get an additional 2500 ISO for the next 5 level, rinse and repeat. This estimate is off by 2000 so there may be some extra 2000 bonus, or more likely the early 1-15 is different than this/ We're not likely to those reported on the forums unless someone makes an alt to do it.

Based on that if 50000 is the most per level and they keep the same pattern the current cap would be 105-109.

Yeah I fixed that. At some point I anciently overwrote my actual column with sums. I thought it was off by 2000 somewhere Fixed my earlier post.

ISO is needed, ISO is great! I'm still several million in the hole, however.

Also - no covers in this list yet, huh? I still see no method to 5* transition. Hopefully that's phase 3.

It looks like I was right, at least for people who weren't max-level at 65.
