There's no need to hoard. Either you win all the ISO (lv 65), or you win some of it (less than lvl 65). So you don't really benefit at all by holding back.
Monday can't come soon enough!!! (Why am I saying this?? I love weekends.)
Well, I'll enjoy the weekend, because weekends are good.
And at least Monday won't be as bad as most Mondays. Good times!!! Monday daytime will be pretty rough.. but come approximately 5-6pm..!0 -

I don't think this is accurate. If you hit level 65, that's max you can be grandfathered into, but that's not the actual max. So if you knew for sure that you were going to be at 65 on Monday, you'd be best off to do a few possible XP generating things as possible because those will all go to waste.
That being said at level 65 the XP requirements are probably so high that unless you had been hording ISO to max a 5* the amount you'd loose out would probably be so trivial it really wouldn't matter...0 -
To be honest I think people are just looking for excuses to hoard. I think the whole hoarding part is the most rewarding part, probably a better experience than the part about getting the rewards. Some people get enjoyment from saving money, while most others get enjoyment from spending it.0

Honestly, I'm suddenly glad I decided to go ham in venom bomb.
If this helps spike up my shield score a bit, then more iso to me.
And a Blahahah with tons of iso in his pockets is a happy blahahah0 -

Oh my, so it is iso every rank. A very purple cracklin' Christmas morning on tap for late Monday afternoon, ha.
So now the only question is the degree of iso per level.
Can it really be a 500 iso increment per level? Rank(Rank+1)/2*500 ?
Good a guess as any and a very attractive answer (assuming you're a "Maxmum Player" )
Stay tuned....0 -

But no one has a comprehensive list of "XP-generating things".
And not playing is cheating yourself of resources you won't get back.
Spending can often be delayed, but not always. Might have covers expiring, or a vault about to disappear.
In short, it's almost certain that trying to get ahead by delaying will cost you more than you "gain".
Just play your game.
We can make some assumptions about what things will generate XP -- leveling, championing, opening tokens -- considering what's in the interview, but I was asking specifically about holding off on doing the less fungible things (e.g. applying covers that are still a ways from expiring). Since Hi-Fi mentioned that people would be grandfathered in, I assume that doing it now will not be qualitatively different than doing it after Monday.0 -
I'm guessing the people at max actually do just get a straight million. We all know it won't honestly make a dent in their deficit, and it should improve diversity at the top end of play by a good bit. That said, I could see it going as low as 250k. Hard to imagine it being much lower than that, given the screenshot, without having the screenshot be a deliberate and pathetic deception with no real motivation. I can just imagine all of the people on Monday saying "got 250k, couldn't even level a single 4*, gg d3".
For a one-time drop, this should really be pretty darn generous to make a difference.
For myself, at my level, I'm hoping for ~300k and expecting not less than 50k.0 -
I'm hoping for somewhere north of 300k; if so I'll take it as a one off boon and use it to champ Antman, then carry on with my plan to get 13 covers for RHulk, Cyclops and Iceman and get them championed.0

Oh now I get it. They will reward iso every time you level up and increase the amount also when you level up0

Speaking purely for myself, ISO gains already feel like the better rewards to me.0 -
So, rank 66 gets you 30,000 iso.
60x500 = 30,000
So if you start at rank 1 (as a brand new player after the patch hits), and throughout the ranks, there's 5 levels that provide rewards that aren't ISO (like opening up pvp, pve, etc), that would make sense that each rank increased the iso reward by 500 iso. Rank 67 should get 30,500, 68 would be 31,000, etc. So at rank 65, one would get 885,000 iso.
I am more than ok with this. And hopefully the ranks come once every couple weeks if you regularly place high in events, open tokens, level and champ characters... you know, play the game the same way we have been.0 -

I'm thinking giving away more than $1k of real money value worth of ISO is probably not going to happen. Just seems hard to believe0 -

Its enough to put ISO economy into state of 2014 when 4*s were rare, not common.0 -
Time for them to bring back the 20 reward...0

Think of it as reparations.

This is perhaps the first time in the history of modern civilization that anyone wished so ardently for the arrival of a Monday.0

"David wrote:Moore"]Hi,
Hopefully I can provide a little clarity (and we'll be posting more details on Monday).
S.H.I.E.L.D. Rank provides Iso rewards. There isn't a daily rewards or Championing type of system tied to them where you receive different rewards for reaching a new rank. You will receive Iso upon ranking up - and you will receive a nice drop of Iso on Monday covering all your current ranks earned.
The better rewards side of the feature arrives with S.H.I.E.L.D. Clearance Levels in R109.
Hope that helps. Again, more info on S.H.I.E.L.D. Ranks coming on Monday. Additional info on Clearance Levels arriving closer to R109.
dont update hit like every few weeks though it was late fall this was to come0 -
I don't know how much I'll be receiving after the update but I will be using it primarily to continue to Champion my roster. I'm currently holding covers for and , two characters that I have in the 130s but never brought all the way to Champion. If I have enough after them, and are high on my list of characters I'd like to level up because that will make them more useful (or at least less squishy) during the villainous Lightning Round weeks.0
