I'm about to kiss 40k but the nodes aren't worth a lot and I just moved into first in my main bracket so I'm calling it a night. Good work everybody. noscalingnoscalingnoscaling

Also poon tree posted earlier he was at 31k

I hope the scaling doesn't get crazy for me as the event goes on. I'm currently #1 in all three brackets with 31k points. IceIX mentioned that healing to full at the end of a fight actually makes everything scale higher. I need to remember to not heal so much icon_e_smile.gif
  • Oh, went to sleep earlier than usual yesterday (and I assume that usually I go to sleep first in our alliance, even before out french comrades), so didn't see about 30k mark. Jusr hit it - 30989, 12 in main, 31 in easy, 5 in hard. BTW, team of Psylocke/yellow Patch/Hood is great against goons+heroes, buffed, 5 active colors, etc.

    I'm currently sitting at 37k icon_e_smile.gif
  • Hey guys, I jumped into a vacant spot in your group, hoping you decide to move me from pending to active member. I am currently 2 in main, 3 in easy, 1 in hard in simulator. I play obsessively, every day. Post semi regularly here. My best toons are Punisher 133, Patch 134, Hulk 120, and generally swapping out BW 80 and Spidey 86 as support/heals. Hoping u keep me, I'd be happy to contribute to and reap the rewards for your alliance.

Crazy eyes, your lineup, performance, and forum activity are all great, however we are currently full. Had you posted earlier you would've received consideration, we are all about having all forum members

If there is opportunity to expand or if we need to replace inactive members you're the type of member we'd like to have. Sorry dude
    Okay no prob.

Brethren, just grabbed a few mins for a check-in (weekends are pretty hectic at our place, so don't expect much forum activity, but the play levels will not drop).

Going in to the final refresh I'm sitting at 44,811 and 4/1/3 in brackets. (No idea how to take a screenie with my iPhone, sorry).

Running Ares, Psylocke + whoever takes my fancy (Bullseye, Storm, Fishnet Queen & of course The Best There Is!)

Also finished second in DC (behind Jachado) to finally get a blue Doom & am looking forward to the buff rolling to him.

From the event tokens I got a Hawkeye (already fully specced) and the yellow Ares I needed to complete his spec - I think 1st round ISO will be going to him! (Also scored a Red Punisher from the NHB Herioc last night, which was nice)

May your blades always be sharp.

Otersey brought up a good point via pm regarding scaling. If you can't actually beat the missions rubber banding won't help.

If you wait too long and don't have a strong roster you risk not being able to do certain missions bc they scale beyond your abilities so remember to clear all the nodes for the one time completion bonus sooner rather than later so you can get that sweet sweet iso
  • Just finished my last run before the final push. Sittin at 2\3\1 with 46k. Going to miss the buff to my 102 psylocke next round icon_mad.gif

all the people who posted there status are well above the avg of the alliance so the people who didn't post most of them are well under the avg.
it sucks that we cant see ingame whats going on because it could be just 1 person who doesn't play at all and the whole alliance will hurt because of that.

edit: they should make it so that only top 10 members are counted towards the total points imo.
that way when people go on vacation or have irl stuff to do so they cant play wont get accounted for
  • I'm at 46,000. I'm waiting for points to refresh two hours before the sub ends.

Alliance average is ~38600 at the moment, so I wouldn't say well above avg. the people who we haven't heard from were active last tourney so I think everyone is probably around 30 to 35k atleast with one last grind to go. And really the rewards for top 5 vs top 50 aren't vastly different so if we have an off tournament, eh

All in all I'm not too concerned
  • Hey I'm at 47614 (2nd place in the main) now and will be back on for the last 2 hours of the 2 subs for my last grind to the finish of those
  • off-topic but where is everybody from btw.
from the look of when we gain points i feel like most of the alliance is from US.
i'm from the Netherlands, so some events finish 6 am for me which is tough
  • Canada, myself.

15/20 reported in. I'd like to see reports in from Dulodulo, FloubyOne, Nazgul, Tempos, and Thirstyguts when convenient.

This is also helpful to know for communication. Good to know when you'll realistically get a response to something. I'll update the original post with our location unless someone doesn't want me to. In which case that's fine, I'll put you as "from parts unknown" like you're a wrestler from the 80s (am I the only person that watches wrestling? I made a macho man reference a while back that was gold! Screw you guys. Haha)

I'm from Houston, tx. Dogfather, my company has an office in oldenzaal so by ancient roman law, we are friends now

Nazgul was above 31k before he even joined. He posted this link as part of his pitch to us.

Do you know anything about magnetic flux leakage, eddy current principle, ultrasonics, or electromagnetic acoustic transducers? There's other stuff to do too, but that's the stuff that sounds fancy... If you actually are interested I can pm you the website, they list global job offerings on there. You can see if there's anything where you want to apply for
