    I personally don't think buying iso-8 is ever worth it. It's not enough for what you pay. The amount of iso-8 you get for like $20 is what I can earn in 2-3 days playing. At least the hero points would actually take weeks, if not months, to acquire without paying.

    Unholy Outlaw gives blue and black Stormbeau covers, yellow for alliance rewards. Totallynotconsortingwithdemons is required.


    I NEVER buy Iso-8,
    Only HP for covers, and I buy the cover straight off (1250 for 3*) , because of you buy random packs (wich I did like 2-3 times for higher amounts) you will end up with 1 rare 100% garuanteed. (trust me its all **** comming from 3800 HP packs)

    Your far better off taking the HP and collecting specific covers to boost your characters, then play PvE event weekly and get 20k ISO easy couple days.

    Also there is no perfect way to rubber band. In order to hit the 1-50 ranks you just have to grind hard. My "rubber band" is only after a 6/7 hours of sleep which never gets me those 5k+ fights. But after looking at the numbers i would be earning a lot less points if I were to wait for those rubber band moments. Just my 2 cents

    You really don't have to grind hard (if you had the required characters). I missed a few refreshes and mainly only did one to two playthroughs on the highest nodes each time. Again, this fails if you can't do all the matches. But I easily placed top 50 in the last event even missing the last refresh. Key is to make sure you let the nodes fully refresh, which at 6/7 hours you wouldn't have (if I read your post right). Scaling wasn't bad either.

    Not sure what the refreshes are in the current pve. Likely 12 hours but I haven't read the main thread. Scaling looks broken on this one though, not sure if it's just because it's mainly goons.

    I'm sitting at 425 points in the pvp. I'll try to play some more in the morning but the noon end times are terrible for me.

    883 in PvP right now. Threw up a shield that'll last until the end. I'm not expecting that score to hold for 1st but top 5 shouldn't be a problem.

    Looks like levels in the PvE event are a bit too high for me to take on right now. I got wiped twice against the goons lol.

    The top guy in our node has jack sht but has massive amounts of points... not even the steve rogers or a lvl 85 his top guys are 70s I still dont understand how this happens as the #2 has 141 patch etc.

    He's probably fighting really low level enemies if his roster isn't very strong. Of course this is all thanks to scaling which is currently giving me level 230 enemies....

    Yeah, I'm not too worried about it since even if I don't win Human Torch from the event, I'm sure that there will be a PvP that gives it out soon after.

    On a happier note, while shielded, I won enough battles on the defense to push me up past 900 points for 50 HP and also first place! Now I have 3 X-Force covers and a 5/3/4 Hulk.

    Hulk's black at 5 will damage your own team though, not alot but some people take a 5/4/4 build icon_e_surprised.gif
    Im kind of thinking about 5/3/5 since I want those green generating AP spams Hulk can provide but might be risky w/o a healer.

    I like that even if my own efforts fall short of two Human Torch covers, I will get one from the alliance result. Also getting way more iso lately thanks to these events. Slowly building up my team en masse, almost have my first Lv 100 character.
