Earlier today I decided not to get involved in the alliance frenzy, so I said I wouldn't join one. However after some thinking I decided to create one just for the fun of it. Here are some things you have to know.

- The alliance is public, has only 5 slots and won't expand in the near future since this is just an experiment for me and the HP I spend will probably be used for 3* covers.
- My roster is a mix of 2* and 3* (not high level though) and this allows me to place top 5 in tournaments consistently.
- I recently placed 1st in an event, so having scratched that itch I don't plan to bother with events a lot since the levels I encounter recently are 120-140+ and I don't want to waste 10 days of my life for a couple of covers. I am currently focused on tournaments since they last only 2 days and they offer decent rewards.
- You MUST NOT be hardcore players trying always for the top because you will most likely be frustrated. I consider myself a casual/regular (not daily) player. Missing a tournament or being absent for some days is perfectly fine, although being inactive for too long may cause the termination of our partnership. I'm in for the fun and so should you. Try your best and don't worry too much about placement.

Oh, in case you are wondering about the name of the alliance (Wyldside), it did come from Netrunner. Too bad Fairytail was taken.

47 days in. And when I can take the time and shield generally finish top 5. Love the game and play as much as I can, but not that hardcore type player.

In that maxed 2* team, building 3* cover grind.

That was fast. 5/5 in 15 minutes. It's good to meet you all. I checked all 4 rosters and I laughed since mine is probably the second weakest.
I usually start playing on the second day of a tournament since there is no point getting to 500 early and get pummeled and dropped down to 300, so don't worry if you don't see too much activity.

I usually wait too if I'm going for top 5. Some that I'm busy during I just join early and play as much as I can for the iso then finish top 45 or 75 if I can.

I hope you get them. I am shielded at #1 with 838, but I see #2 at 769 doing his best to catch up. I don't care much about Wolverine, but I need those Hood covers since mine is 0/0/1 so I tried to get as high as I could and shielded twice today using 2x3 hour shields.

This is the first tournament I saw so bad MMR. After I shielded for the first time I was searching for potential targets, but I could only find 7-8 opponents. The MMR system that is used in the game is really pathetic and one of the things that needs fixing ASAP.

Forum Lurker's first time posting: I thought it would be nice to at least make an introduction to the Alliance.

It's been daily playing so far - Day 143 here: Heroic Token
Not hardcore player but I try to place high enough to get HP, and new covers. I've never placed 1st in any event. I practically skipped Thick as Thieves event because it was a plain dumb scaling effect then.

About my roster: Levelling everyone at the same time. I really liked Captain America and Grey Suit Black Widow but the developers have a way of releasing characters that eclipses their previous releases. Dang.

Oh, and I play on GMT+8 so the weekday events usually end on Saturday noon/1pm for me, which is good, I think.

PS: Not an Anarch fan but the card draw is awesome so you cannot fault that. Gotta love the Criminals though.

Hey Aellos. From what I can tell you all have great attitude so I;m sure we will have fun.

I was surprised to see I placed first in Predator and Prey. I went to sleep as #2 only 15 points below #1, but I guessed he messed up.
I will start Fearless Defenders today and make a push tomorrow near the end. Those BP covers are yummy. I wish you all good luck.

When I first played I went for Shaper decks since I love Kate and I picked HB for my main corporation. I haven't played for some time though. I would like to try criminal decks, but unfortunately many friends gave up on the game so I am left alone.

I'm sitting at 404 pts currently in Fearless Defenders and our alliance is just north of top 100. Pretty interesting to see the top guys at 10,000+ already--but then again they have full rosters of 20 people.

Currently I am first in my bracket with 710. I am not shieded though so the retaliations will bring me down a bit. This time I will use only 1x3h shield in order to save some HP. Earlier today I decided to save all the alliance reward HP I make in order to increase the size of the alliance, although I will probably wait until the reward structure is finalized. In the alliance ranking we are #78 which is awesome. In case someone is wondering, based on what I saw when we were hovering around there, the score required to enter top 100 is around 2200-2300.

I finally shielded at #2 with 760. Alliance is #126 with 2734.If it ends without significant changes it means I get 4500k ISO + 150HP.
Compared to older tournaments, it appears more players than before will end up with a bit more ISO, about the same HP and 1 less cover.
Overall, house wins. Again. With every new change the game feels less and less rewarding.

Definitely much more competitive this time around with the alliances rollout. Top guy in my bracket is at 914, I'm at 550 and still haven't broken top 25 yet. Definitely more of a slog this time around.

My bracket is more competitive. The top guy is over 1000 points. I'm shielded in top ten but should slip out given the one or two unshielded ones running around.

It's another HP sink, like Elites. The bigger the Alliance, the higher you place. Now they just need to create Alliance Elite events. I won't be surprised we dropped out of top 100 not because we were bad but because other Alliances were growing.

Maybe they should bracket Alliance events by team size...

My bracket is low. Top is at 826 and I don't expect surprises since 8/10 are shielded already.
It would be very difficult to create brackets based on alliance size because they would have to have different reward ranges for each group since not too many alliances have 15+ members. I considered opening another slot and have each new member buy the next slot, but as I posted on another topic, the system that is used in the game is too messy and primitive for my taste since you have to make someone a commander and he then could kick out any player he doesn't like. So there is no correct structure in the alliances and trusting someone you shouldn't could end badly.

I estimate that in 2-3 weeks (maybe sooner) most top 100 alliances will have 15+ members, at which point the roster and the performance of the players will play a bigger role in the ranking than the size of the alliance. The game will end up being way more cutthroat than it is now. In 1-2 months only the most hardcore players/alliances will get all the rewards and the rest will be happy with the 50HP which they got anyway in older tournaments as progression rewards. But since I have no desire for drama or someone breathing down my neck and tell me I should contribute more, I will remain a non paying casual customer and I will be happy where I am with the extra ISO and HP from the alliance rewards.

Shielded for good at 3rd and 809, top 2 in my bracket are over 9 and I just couldn't get there with retaliations coming.

I'd imagine it will take higher scores to top brackets for a while now with top guys wanting to push their alliance a little higher. I'd hope they will change it to use some sort of weighted average for scores, but agree that they prefer we sink our HP into expanding.

For now at least the prize difference is miniscule between the tiers we are at.

I broke the shield 15 minutes before the end in order to push the alliance in top 100. No idea if I succeeded since the last match ended 1-2 minutes late. I went up to 860 (I think), but a last loss dropped me -36. I think I lost top place in my bracket for 2 points.
