For me, finishing the Gauntlet (for the first time) a day early allowed me to just focus on the PvP, as I signed up for the latest end date for the PvE. I've already put in 1K into the Simulator as well. I'm trying to see if I can earn the top simulator prize early on, if I can swing it between events. Moving up at the end got really tough as I didn't know (never experienced it before) it got that heavy with attacks at the 2000+ level. I'm not so concerned about my final standing there, but just want the top prize.

Hey guys,

Just wanted to say that we are doing well overall but we are still a bit short for the season. Currently we are at 106 for the season and less than 2.5k away from 101. When I checked earlier this morning I think we were 110-112 so someone put in some points either into Category-5 or shield training and boosted us up a few spots. Category-5 is the 8th event of the season so that means you should be at 4800 points without your shield training points for the season at the end of the event. From the scores I have been able to see only 3 are under 4200 which is what you should have been after the electra event but those of you that are just barely past may have points in shield and really have not kept up.

I myself am at 4695 with 0 points in shield training or Category-5 as of yet and plan on putting 1500+ points in shield training and will try to put in 2100 points between the last 3 events of the season. So I should end with 8300+ points for the season. I haven't been able to keep track of the individual scores this season because of the problems with the leader boards once you have finished an event not being their. They say they will have that fixed in the next patch. We will see.

Overall we have gotten better each season for the last few seasons and I am hoping this is the season we break top 100 at the end of it. I will keep as many of you as I can but may ask a couple of you to step down to our secondary alliance to try and recruit 1 or 2 high scorers to secure top 100. I already asked ScrubbyP to step down and he agreed. We were able to have Firefromsky step up from the secondary alliance since he has been doing so well. The next replacements will have to come from somewhere else though since we do not have any more high scorers in the secondary alliance.

Like I mentioned there should be 3 more pvp events including Category-5 so start putting points into shield training to not miss out on any points. I believe most of us should be able to sit at 1k in shield training without taking many hits if any and should be able to easily hit 1500 by the end of it without wasting a shield until the last few hours.

Alucard, if PzzlPunishers needs a member, I mentioned it to a friend of mine. She goes by Satomi12. I was asking her what her season score was and she said she tends to play the story mode more (she hasn't been playing long) as she's still building her roster. Anyways, if you see someone by that name apply, it's someone I do know personally.

How did I know you would be the one to post something after me. Seems like only you and I read this thread anymore Anyways currently pzzlpunishers is full and I may have to cut a couple of the least active members to make space for 1 or 2 that may need to step down before the end of the season. But if a spot opens up I will let you know so that you can tell your friend.

If you get a pm from any of the 3 of us please pm us all back once you have dropped so that we can let the recruit know that they can join and we will pm you once I make space in PzzlPunishers for you.

We are close to top 100 as is so we may only need to replace just one person this season to secure top 100 for all of us to get that 4*thor cover. Thank you everyone for your efforts this season.

I was surprised to be in the top 3 for our alliance with the score I had. I guess this is what happens on the holiday breaks. We still have several thousand points to make up if we want to be top 100 for the end of the season. Hope everyone has had a safe and fun holiday. Now lets make the push in these last two events and shield training to get us into top 100 everyone.

Season 9 Ranking - 101 (So close)
Alright so Linktothefast was able to do some last minute recruiting that put us within 490 points of being in top 100 for the season. In order to do that he had to let go of those of you that have not been able to keep your pvp events to a 600 points per event and were at the bottom of the list of season score.

For those of you that were kicked to try and help the alliance as a whole to get the she-thor cover there are 3 spots currently available now that the season is over if you feel that you can commit to putting in 600 points per pvp event during season so that we do not have this issue again at the end of season 10. If you feel that 600 points per pvp is to high for you to commit to right now and would like to stay with us send me a pm or post here to ask for a spot to be opened for you in PzzlPunishers so that I can have that opened for you. For any of you that decide not to stay with us for any reason we hope that you find what ever you are looking for out of this game and if you ever do want back in as long as the current commanders are here just let us know and we will see what we can do for you.

Man, good work everyone. We got really close, and that has me amped up for the next season. I really wish I had a more direct way to fill out your rosters. It sucks to hit a wall when you only got 400-500 points in a PvP.

My brain is a bit melty from the last minute grinding. I had to resort to PROLOGUE HEALING, for pete's sake. The pre-season should be a nice break, even though I really want those blade covers...

Prologue Healing? OMG, haven't heard that term in awhile, although I read somewhere it's a good way to heal X-Force, just get him in a goon fight so that the AI doesn't match the countdown tile.

I'm torn also regarding the balance of power PVP. I want to relax and recharge a bit during the between seasons break, and unlike most of the last season, only NOW they award covers I need in a PVP (ie. Blade).

I don't know why everyone keeps referring to this pvp as BOP when it's CA. BOP you can use any combination of characters in CA you have to use 1 1*, 1 2*, and 1 3*. I myself want those blade covers but am going to wait till the last 45min-1hour to start to try and get into a small bracket like I did on my secondary account. Did that account last night in the first shard with 55 minutes got 19 of 71 with a score of 250 or so. On this account I can probably do 500-700 points in the last hour and may get 1st.

New pvp (Earth's Mightiest) event just started and the rewards are Luke Cage covers. So much for taking the off-season off.

I was thinking the same thing, Alucard. Guess I won't "take it easy" as much as I thought between seasons with the Luke Cage covers. At least with this PVP, you can use everyone on your roster (with Avengers being buffed).

All members at least played this pvp but we only had 19/20 members
Total points we missed out on because they did not get to 600 - 629 + 600 for the missing member = 1229
Points away from #100 - 12546 - 12205 = 241 (We would have been top 100 if we have picked up 1 more member or if those who didn't reach 600 would have at least reached 525)
Overall for the season rank was at 193 when I checked. (Not really to worried about this considering that we finished 105 for the first event. The reason we are probably this far behind means that others have already started the 2nd event or shield training. I prefer knowing we have lots of members who have more potential for extra points at the end.)

The commanders and I will continue to try and recruit 1 more member to fill us up and ease the pressure a bit for top 100. Considering we came in rank 105 with only 19 members I am happy with the overall performance of the alliance and this should be a good sign of how we are going to do this season. For those of you who did not reach 600+ just try and do better than 650-700 over the next few events so that your base score (score without shield training points) is averaging at about 600. I would like to not have to ask anyone to step down or have to drop people in the last hours of the season to get the rest of us into the top 100 this season.

Points away from #100 - Don't know how far ahead we were because couldn't see that far behind us
Overall for the season rank was at 124 when I checked. (Big improvement over the 193 from the end of last event and several of us have not started shield so we are in great shape for season 10)

These are the kind of scores we need to continue to get. Like I already mentioned more than half the alliance broke 700+ in this event. That is great teamwork everyone. Now we need to improve our pve scores to see if we can start being top 100 in both pve and pvp.

Points away from #100 - 12872 - 12725 = Only 147 points away from top 100. Not much of a cushion their but at least we still got top 100.
Overall for the season rank was at 113 when I checked. We keep getting closer to top 100 and we still have plenty of people that have not put any points into shield so that should be a good # of points towards top 100 in the last few days.

As Linktothefast mentioned in chat. This was our 2nd top 100 in a row. Now lets see if we can stay here. Remember we need everyone to do their part so that we can stay in the top 100. Competition is a lot stronger nowadays due to all alliances being 20 person alliances and many people who have maxed 4* character plus now with the shield cooldowns it is a lot harder to shield hop for better scores. Keep up the hard work and lets break into the top 100 for the season before we start putting points into shield training and we will be in great shape for the end of the season.

This makes 3 pvp events in a row that we make top 100. Lets see if we can finish off the season like this. Also we are doing well in the Oscorp: Heroic. Currently at 144. If everyone can at least do a pass on the essentials you can get lots of points with those and help the alliance try to get top 100 in pve as well.
