Here are the results of the Most Wanted Versus event for the alliance:

Member that did not put in any points - davidt68 (Says that he "thought it ended at 4 today" I told him it did end at 4 today. (4am))
Total points we missed out on because they did not get to 600 - 1581
Points away from #100 - 13005 - 12755 = 250 points (We could have easily pulled a top 100 win for the alliance if everyone did their part)
Overall for the season rank was at 94 when I checked. (Not sure how this is possible if we have yet to get a top 100 for a pvp event. I am guessing that some of our members have already started putting more points into shield than some other alliances and it is a false top 100)

What no Pleefs???? It was a good run while it lasted.

Lets keep up the pace and secure our spot in the top 100. It would be nice to not have to try and recruit some hired guns at the end of a season for the first time in 3 seasons to get into top 100. I know we can do it we just need everyone to do their part and also don't forget about shield training. I normally put 1500 points easily in that in the last 4 days of the season and I dont get attacked much so I know I can probably push it up to 1800 or 2000 if I use shields and time it correctly.

Also wanted to mention our PVE performance for Meet Rocket and Groot: That was a brutal grindfest to try and stay top 50 and I personally was unable to maintain top 50 even though I had rocket and groot from the begining and scored 118875. I noticed that a few of you did pick up that red 4* thor cover from the top 50 rewards and that almost everyone scored high enough to get a groot cover. Only 3 members did not score enough to get rocket and groot. It would have been nice to have been a top 50 alliance for the 4* thor cover but with all the grinders I knew that was not going to be possible. Good score anyways with an alliance rank of 139.

With a little work we can be top 100 in both pvp and pve.

Lol, I just couldn't leave it well enough alone! In the last half hour, I was in 2nd, sitting on 900+ points. I decided to break shield and win a couple more to retake first, as whoever it was was shielded. I also figured I'd go after 1100 and get myself one more grocket cover. BAD CHOICE. I didn't just get attacked, I got HAMMERED from several people. Found myself fighting just to keep my score from dropping me too low.

I really need to learn timing when it comes to shields....

I saw your messages in chat about that. Yeah normally when I break shield for a few points I just do 2 or 3 fights max if it is getting close to the end of the event. Wait a few minutes until I see 2 or 3 shield blocks and if I feel I really need some more points I might do 1 or 2 more fights with boosts to finish the fights in less than a minute.

Points away from # 104 - 14620 - 13932 = 688 points (We probably would have just missed a top 100 win for the alliance if everyone did their part)
Overall for the season rank was at 108 when I checked. (Dropped from 94)

Just as a warning to those of you that have not been meeting the 600+ minimum on multiple occasions that I may need to replace a couple of you for higher season scorers so those of us that have been doing our part and usually more can get the 4* thor cover we deserve. If you are removed from the alliance and would like a chance to get back in you can apply for PzzlPunishers and if I see your scores improve during next season I may ask you to come back or you can ask to come back if you think you are up for it then.

Great score guys and congrats on earning that Red She-Thor cover Septim and Katai. I need everyone to put as many points into Shield Training and the last pvp for the season. Lets see if we can make top 100 and I will do what I can on recruiting a couple new players to help us out.

Early end of season totally screwed me out of shield training. I was planning on doing that after securing my Eight is Enough score :[

Total points we missed out on because they did not get to 600 - 912 (Once again more than half the points were missed by Boomerbrett21 and again without any kind of mention to why at 78 points thats 522 points just by him.)
Points away from # 108 - 14487 - 13785 = 702 points (No way we were going to get top 100 even if everyone did put in their 600 points.
Overall for the season rank was at 112 to end the season with 160167 points.
Rank 107 was at 164151 so we were 3984 points behind them.

Thanks for not bailing on us like our top scorers from previous season have done. Like before I have kicked a couple of the lowest scorers that rarely play either pve and were not making the 600 points in pvp. I will be looking to get in another top scorer or two for season 9 and see if we can start getting top 100 on a more consistent basis. For season 9 lets see if we can pull of top 100 without having to pull in any ringers in the last couple events. If you feel that you are not up for the challenge or want to take a break and let me know so that I can make space for you in PzzlPunishers if you want to stick around with us until you are ready to be more competitive.

I should have mentioned to everyone that I had a suspicion that the season was not going to end properly because of the event time patch was introduced in the middle of the season and that mpq didn't think of it. I feared that even the Eight is Enough event would not count for those that choose the last time slot.

I may "relax" a little and take it easy for the period before season 9 begins. It all depends on what takes place in between and what covers are awarded. I should be up and raring to go though!

Thanks. My roster wouldn't be where it is if I hadn't found this alliance when I started searching around, back even before they introduced seasons into the mix. I know we've had to modify our "style" a little bit due to changes in the game, and losing many of our original members through burnout, retirement, etc., but I have greatly benefited from being a member of this alliance, so I'm glad I finally got to the point where I can make a more significant contribution to our point totals.

TerranDominion is looking to recruit some more members that want to be competitive but might not always have to be the top scorer for every event. We ask that you put in 600+ point in pvp and it would be a bonus if you can at least get the progress rewards in pve to try and be competitive as an alliance in that as well (though the latter is not a requirement). For season 8 we finished rank 112 we had a few members that were not putting in the 600+ points in every pvp even missed pvp events entirely that really hurt us in the long run.

If you want to know if we still have space I update my signature with # of members so it should be up to date unless we just accepted a member or 2.

If any of you are interested please apply in game and pm Gamar, ScrubbyP, and myself with your season 8 score and how well you normally do in PVE. If you are unable to pm because your forum account is new then you can post here in our thread with the above info and let us know that you would like to join and we will pm you if we have any questions.

Total points we missed out on because they did not get to 600 - 266 (We made top 100 anyways but competition looks tight. Rank 97 was only 66 points behind us and rank 88 was 110 points ahead of us.)

Great way to start off the season everyone. Lets keep up the pace and stay in top 100. Thanks to Katai, Rabid Bulldog and Pleefs for all breaking the 1k barrier. Katai did his 1118 points in the last 3 hours. Katai if you are going to do a late push don't select your end time until you are ready to push so that it doesn't put you into a bracket until you are ready to start. I saw your comment that 1st was at over 1400. Selecting your time at the last minute puts you into a newer bracket and your score would have put you into top 5 or even first.

Woo! Hopefully this victory gives us a nice morale boost. We definitely could use some after the last few seasons.

I was actually surprised I made it that high. I would've started sooner, but Gauntlet was kicking my butt @_@
