BP is definitely worth putting levels into. Rage of the Panther is crazy damage. He is probably the first one I will get to 166 along with patch. You also have GSBW maxed covered which for pve she really helps out with sniper rifle and being able to make greens from pink. Falcon can be useful even without maxing him with his red falcon being able to get rid of countdown tiles and other dangers also boost with his yellow. As far as the way you have falcon covered I think his blue at 5 is a waste because most times you can destroy quicker than the countdown if not on the same turn that it comes out. Having his yellow at 5 is usually a better option because it boost 3 special tiles instead of 2. I think that even purple is better at 5 because it goes it increases the protect tiles strength by 33% or so.

Since you already have 7 characters maxed you need to pretty much max the other chars to make them usable in pve so just max them out as fast as possible. BP would be my first choice followed by GSBW or Steve Rogers and falcon last (Even though you may want to get him to about 110 for a little extra health.)

I was leaning to BP at first myself as I asked the group something like this some time ago, and was told, Hood and BP. Then the X-Force improvement was made, so I started getting him up there as I was at least somewhat fortunate in pulling a few of his covers off standard tokens when there weren't a lot of characters available in the game. Since he pretty much is the cornerstone of my "newly found PVP mojo," (lol), I was curious as to whether I should started evenly leveling everyone as I asked in our "developmental" alliance. Unless someone makes a good argument for it (and I still don't mind hearing it), it looks like BP will be the next one getting ISO love.

So we finished Smash Hit with a rank of 110 as an alliance which is disappointing because if we would have all done our part we could have been top 100 more than likely. Total alliance score was 12170 and if everyone that did not hit 600 would have hit exactly 600 we would have had another 1434 points. Rank 105 alliance was at 12493 points so they were only 323 points ahead of us. That tells me those 1493 points should have put us over the top 100. I will probably be removing a couple of players before the end of this next pvp and if I do please apply to our secondary alliance (PzzlPunishers). I will make sure there is space for you there.

I am asking again to make sure that the entire alliance is committed to getting the 600 points per pvp and become a top 100 alliance again. If you are not then I would like you to be honest with the rest of the alliance and step down to our secondary alliance if need be. I just don't want to be in the same boat as last season and the season before that our top players found a stronger alliance in the last couple pvp's because we had to many members that were not cutting it.

I would like to say thank you to our top 3 players for Smash hit: The same 3 members as the previous pvp.

I would also like to mention that last season with a couple pvp's to go Pleefs was one of our members that I had to ask to step down to our secondary alliance because he was not able at that time to be consistent but over the last 5 or 6 pvps since then has proven that he was able to step up his game and make his way back into our main alliance. Just as an example that just you are demoted does not mean you will not be allowed back in our main alliance. I actively monitor both alliances as I have an account in both.

If you have any concerns or things have come up that have kept you from getting your 600+ points just let us know. We know that real life comes up and that comes first.

Alliance Score - 13153 (Highest recorded score for this season)

Total points we missed out on because they did not get to 600 - 924
Points away from #107 - 13577 - 13153 = 424
Overall for the season rank was at 113 when I checked. (Which is about 20-30 ranks better than what it has been after the other events)

As you can tell, competition is getting fiercer. Even if we would have all gotten to 600 we might not have made top 100 but it would have been close. Heavy Metal will be the 5th versus event for season 8 so you should be at least at 5 x 600 = 3000 points without shield training points after that event. From what I see in the rankings most of us should be able to get to that score with minimal effort and a few would have to put up their best scores for the season to get there but should still be able to get it. We can still make top 100 for the season and get our she Thor cover so lets make the push and get there.

Man, my PvE rubber-banding is all wonky. My nodes never get any higher than 1200 at most, and drop to 400 after two battles, but I'm still only 30k points when everyone else is hitting 80k.

You and me both. I'm still trying to get to 40K myself with the low payout nodes I'm getting. The fights are more brutal damage wise as well. I'm sure I'm not the only one sick of Juggernaut nodes!

The end time selection could well be making the competition the way it is. Part of my score improvement is due to being able to make better pushes at the end, when a lot of the PvPs used to end around the time I would be getting up and going to work. I normally couldn't play the last eight hours or so of a pvp. There's probably a large number of people now that had **** time zones that are able to find a decent slot to work with now. This last one ended just before my bedtime, so I was able to break shield 15-20 minutes to go and get a few more matches in to raise my score. I don't know if anyone else was up, but in the last 20 minutes I remember being at 114th place. Gamar and I were up right at the end and managed to get it to 112. If anyone else was playing at the time, they weren't in the chat.

Hey Vex94,

With your roster you should probably be getting between 400-600 points in pvp. I would suggest maybe maxing out daken and maybe respecing him to 3/5/5 so that he can last for more fights. Pair him with OBW and either ares or thor and you should get 600 points in pvp. Look at my roster that is in the same alliance with you. Last pvp I got 430 points in the last hour and did not get hit once because I started late. I also got in a small bracket so I ended up in 19 out of 93 and got 2 iron man covers which I am not sure I will use. More than likely I will try and get rocket and groot from pve if I can make top 100 on that account to be able to do the essentials in the next pve.

I have always thought that it is better to have a fully covered 2* at 94 than a 3* with just enough cover to get him to 94* and way better than a 4* that can just barely get to 94. Wait until you have 9-11 covers on a 3* till you start putting levels into them so they don't seem so weak.

Also if you decide to level up Hawkeye modern I would respec him to 3/5/5 when you get the red and pink covers.

That looks like 2 quick criticals with all those blues. Plus the reds probably fell in line for high damage 4 piece with a crit gem in it. Yeah that was probably quick. You won the board layout lottery on that start. Damn I didnt even notice that you had mhawkeye with you. Pink bombs galore.

Points away from #100 - 13414 - 13120 = 294 (We could have been top 100 if we all made it to 600 even 550 would have been an extra 385 points from the 4 members who did not reach 550 or even 500 would have gotten us 363 points from the 2 members that didn't get that.)
Overall for the season rank was at 118 when I checked.

Pleefs - 967 (Has been in top 3 all 4 events since he joined us)
Tungsten - 848 (stepped up your game huh Tungsten)
Rabid Bulldog - 828 (Only his 2nd pvp with us and already got a top 3 spot)

I know this next pvp and pve event will be tough because of the Thanksgiving Holiday and I hope you all enjoy. If you get the time to play these 2 events would be awesome to get top prizes in. PVE has a 4* she-thor to top 50 alliances and individual prizes and PVP has Rocket and Groot covers. Lets see if we can get top prizes and get some new covers.

Lets go for top 100 in Fatal Attraction and Top 50 in Meet Rocket & Groot (One could only hope). Fatal Attraction is the 6th pvp event so your season score should be at least 3600 by the end of it not including your shield points.

That purple ability of Hawkeye is a sleeper. Hard to set up, but if you do, it can be amazing! I think it would've been fun to use with Classic Mags pre-nerf blue power. THAT would've been so cool!

I have had fun with mHawkeye when he is boosted in pve (especially when 2* mags and 2* storm are boosted) and in Balance of Power PVP. 9 pink usually gets you enough ap for wind storm and a board full of pink bombs. I love it when a plan comes together.

I quite like MHawk. Pairing him with Hulk can be fun when you're good at Anger management. Also, I usually try to have a purple MMags team-up with me to guarantee match-fives.

Total points we missed out on because they did not get to 600 - 816 (468 of that was by our lowest scorer for this event vladelwakeel)
Points away from #106 - 14587 - 14096 = 491 (Which means that even with those 816 points it may not have been enough to get top 100.)
Overall for the season rank was at 108 when I checked.

Katai - 1335 (I wish I could have gotten that x-force grn)

Pleefs - 990 (Still in the top 3 all 5 events since he rejoined us.)

I know this event was brutal because everyone needs the Rocket and Groot covers to be able to do better in pve to try and get the 4* thor covers and it shows that as an alliance we did almost 1000 points better than our best yet and still were 11 spots from top 100. With only 8 days and 14 hours left for the season there are probably only 4 more pvp events before it ends for a total of 10 events. Which means that your base score without shield should be at 6000 and hopefully everyone is able to get the 7500 hp reward with the shield points. I myself plan on going for a season high of 9k. I myself have gotten all the progression rewards in every season so far and plan to keep it that way. If it comes down to it I may need a couple of the low end players to drop down to our secondary alliance so that we can get top 100 for the season with a couple of hired guns. If you are not up for the task let us know and we will do what we can.
