Hey, I didn't even usually click on the 'Events' tab until I sucked Prologue dry. Then I was all 'Huh what to do now' and it went downhill from there.

Ooh, that's a good one. I figured pvp would be more demanding and missed out on a lot of easy tokens. On the same note, playing Shield VS. Total waste of time.
  • paying money to dev is the worst decision i made so far....

there are too many cheaters in this game!!!!!
  • Mine was spending 500 iso to buy covers at the beginning of the game instead of using it to level up my heroes, i could have leveled them up so much faster
  • Selling Thor and Wolverine. Killed my ability to compete in future events.
  • buying 10 packs without a guaranteed 3 star.... got no three stars twice...

Probably not my worst, but one of my funnier ones for sure. Was using my 100+ level Patch during the Hulk event mission that required a mandatory Thor 2*.

Got the enemy beat down a bit and hit The Best There Is to finish off the big nasty dark avenger before he unleashed his ability attack, and ..... nothing happened, not a single point of damage. Spent a few minutes contemplating whether to put in a ticket over the bug before it struck me that Patch didn't own a single tile color--boosted Thor had stolen all his colors.

I did almost the same thing. I missed out on a few good events and if I'd just played one last round in the Hulk event, I'd have had a yellow and green Modern Thor, instead of just a green one. Part of the reason why I didn't do that was because of burnout though. The fights in that event were way too similar to one another.

Worst decision so far overall and still pending
Believing the game would be able to get back on rails and be genuinely as fun again as it was ca. the first run of the Hulk event. Before the mess when shields, scaling and skip penalties were introduced. Back when the developers were at a crucial crossroads where they could've chosen between fixing the MMR or patching around it and subverting the system to generate more cash for them. (You get 1 guess at the direction they took.)

Worst decision over the last month
Believing the devs at face value when they claimed alliances would strictly be a 'for fun' thing. (Hah!)

(Yes; I am pissed at what the game has become and at what it is steadily progressing further towards. Does it show?)
  • I'm with most of ya, selling my 85 wolverine and discovering that the nerf wasn't as bad as it was going to seem and then realizing that wasting hp on the daily deals was a waste!
  • Worst mistake(s) were selling off various covers or (ahhhh!) letting them expire because of not enough roster space! OBW I got rid of and prob could have had all her skills. I tossed some caps and daken too which might have come in handy. Oh yeah, early on, I let some MN Thor covers go! Argh!!! I think I should have sold off some 1* heroes earlier and saved those 2*s but hey, this is the way the game is designed where I needed maxed out 1*s to progress.
  • Not using a con....nection that was steady during an event a while back and ended up unshielding, having to restart my phone while still undshielded, and come hack to minus 200 at a point where it was about an hour till the end. In an alternate dimension that sentence was "not using a con...dom...ent on my chicken sandwich. It was too dry without SOMETHING. DAMN YOU OBESITY AWARENESS HOTLINE AND YOUR INFORMATIONAL PAMPHLETS ON HOW TO NOT GET FAT BY NOT EATING CONDIMENTS....or candy undies. That stuff has to be all carbs.

Also, since I am not stupid or bad with money. My real worst is probably selling myself short (or giving the machine too much credit) when obfirst started and using boosts most matches just because the enemy was 10-15 lvls higher than me (which is actually pretty trivial). I am sure I could have lvled much faster had I not done that.

My phone hating my fingers. If I don't hit a period I hit the letter b instead of space lol. O is right next to I. Should just be "when I first."
  • Levelling Classic Hawkeye.

Thinking Yelena would become useful at some point if I put enough Iso into her.
  • When I started playing this game and after 3-4 months and 4 accounts I'm still not satisfied.
  • Being uninformed my first couple months. I made so many mistakes as far as putting iso into 1 stars for too long, trying to keep my roster balanced in level instead of making tanks, not stumbling on thorverine until a week before funbalance announcement, selling mid level max cover wolvie figuring he was useless after the nerf, and not having enough spare cash to correct these mistakes. Also, joining a random alliance on day 1 of r48, to only now discover that I was with 4 players who weren't interested in participating in the alliance tourney and killing any hopes of an HP reward while I carried them into the high iso tier.

    Hmmm.

    1. Not selling bagman immediately.

    2. Having hope for something other than jug, bw or hawk whenever I click a standard token.

    3. Not selling bagman even faster than immediately.

    4. Watching as the AI pulls off miraculous feats of cascade power, kicking my butt to new shades of purple and blue, when all I needed was one more match of purple or blue to either steal, stun or heal.

    5. Seriously, not selling bagman before I even got him.

    6. Like others, not clicking the events tab sooner.

    7. Damnit. Bagman.

    8. Putting iso into chawkeye.

    9. Losing sleep to try to place better, when it's just a match game on my phone.

    10. Taking too long to find this forum.

    Honorable mention:

    Bagman.

    This. So much this.

I actually spent 100 HP on a daily deal Heroic (got an XWolv from it, though), during Prologue, because I didn't see how the Prologue would ever make me expand my roster beyond 4-5 slots. I also didn't understand why the whole thing was called "Prologue." I thought I would get pummeled by PvP, and didn't try it until Heroic Oscorp, and then, only because it was Prologue+. Also, I didn't realize that ability damage scaled with char level until I had my IM35 up to L30 ("Man, I'm winning these fights faster than I'd thought.").

    EDIT:

I found Bagman pretty useful for locking goon countdown tiles in early Prologue. I had him up to mid-L30's before I got rid of him when I started reading these forums. It's relevant to note that I didn't level a MStorm (at all) until two days ago.
