Major Congrats. I'm a character klepto, so I hate selling any cover, and have all 37 in my inventory. Having said that, the Loki Purple covers are much easier to get then the Black covers in the current version of the Lightning Rounds. So I'd be more inclined to keep a Black cover.

Loki is currently almost unusable except for the rare situation where his black skill Trickery makes a big difference in PVE. You won't miss him in his current form. Then again someday they may add a 3rd color to him. He was even buffed in one of the recent events.

Yeah, after the alliance rewards dropped, I was at 900 HP so i coughed up 350 for slot 28. I think i will need to buy a slot for cmags, xforce, and GSBW, but those are the main ones left. The rest are bagmans, hawkeyes, rags, etc

I had to unshield near the end cause I got knocked to rank 12. I got myself back up to top 5 so I am happy with that But top 5 or 10 isn't that much of a difference other than 500 iso reward. so doesn't matter to me what I would have gotten.

I leveled up Gold Cap for the new event. One day, I will have every single cover and all of them leveled!.... in 30 years!

I need to level some 2 stars since they are useful. So I'm pumping up Classic Black Widow. Don't know why I didn't level her before. She's awesome! She works with Patch Wolverine perfectly.

I think i was under 25 in Wolverine event, not horrible since i did not have leveled any of the wolvies.That was really competitive event since all smart people except me had maxed out Wolverines.
PVE still stinks, after clearing every node im in 14th with almost 30K
Second in FA with 685, I could use these GSBW covers since i don't even have purple cover on her at all.

#1 in cap tourney with 600+. retaliations havent been so bad, so no shield. i dont need gsbw covers at all, so ive just been farming this for iso and to contribute to thecalliance points. marc

Yes, I hate that they do this. I really didn't want to compete in this event because I don't want GSBW, but I'm guessing that the reward in the next event will be Human Torch, so I guess I'll be going for the GSBW even though I'm not thrilled about it.

I haven't even entered yet, hoping to get a pretty lazy bracket late. My 7 year old son got into the Wolverine event on his account yesterday afternoon. The winner was in the mid 600 range, that wouldn't have even made top 15 in my event!

i was coasting un-shielded in my bracket, like 300 points above my closest competition and once i pushed past 800, i got hit by 3 different S.H.E.I.L.D alliance members in short succession.

I fought the retaliations and threw up a 24 hour shield @ 832. The #2 spot is @ ~550 and # 10 is @ ~430.

My bracket is pretty soft so far. I wonder if i'd be able to hold the #1 with my current score. I don't need the widow covers, but i could use the xforce wolvie red.

My bracket has 2 over 500. I am dead last with 16 pts before I kill my entire roster before bed. I need the covers so I'm tanking the **** out of this before I make my run tomorrow.

Event is silly. I wake up, rubberband to top 10 then ignore for 24 hrs.

And I agree with the "I hit 30k over half way through the event and get 250 ISO'? Lightning rounds give better rewards than this abomination.

I can't believe that the last 2 rounds wont have a lot more points. There is no way that you can get all the progression awards even grinding down to 1 point each time.

The PVE looks like it's going to be a silly rubber band whoever plays last event.

On the more positive side I've drawn just about the softest bracket I can remember in the Lazy Cap event. Only one decent roster in the top 10, no names I've seen on leaderboards and no one from top performing alliances.

Been sitting at 500 points all day and only sunk from 1st to 4th during that time with the leader around 550.

I broke my shield and pushed up to 968. I probably should have gone past 1000, but i got nervous about getting retaliations during my push. I'm #1 currently and the #2 player has 682. Hopefully it holds. I 'm only playing for the Red XForce, so if i get bumped out of first, i doubt that i'll try again late...I've already spent 600 on shields this tourney and i'd rather not spend any more. I've got some RL things to do today, so best of luck to everyone. Go Tacos.

I got a guy in my bracket that is sitting at 990 so I just lol'd and said top 5 it is....the next closest guy is at 500 and the bottom of top ten is 400 so I am just going to sit at my 300 spot until about 3-5 hours before the tourney, push up then shield in at 700 or so. maybe heigher if need be, but this tourney doesn't look to competative.

I am sitting at a lowly 662 in 2nd. that is 70 ahead of the next though, so I think I'm good for top 10. I don't think we are going to catch those shield guys in first lol. They are at 17k points. I kept getting hit way to hard, win one lose 2, so decided it is just shield time.

EDIT I just pulled my 2nd blue spidey from a standard token.

It's been annoying that the best strategy in the PVE has been to play as little as possible, then rubber band before node switchovers.

I drew a very soft PVP bracket. Not worth pushing to the 1000 it would take for 1st, and the time to do that was many hours ago when the fatter targets were unshielded. I'm pretty certain I can get a top 10 without burning HP on shields. Just sitting in the 600's with a 100 point cushion over 10th place. Even threw a few matches just so I could play more matches for ISO without crossing into the danger zone point scores that start matching you up with the full 141 rosters opponents.

Edit: yup, pushed up to 800+ points right at the end of the event for the ISO progression reward, including a 40+ pointer in the last 5 minutes. Top 5 and no HP spent on shields all event. 10th spot was 630 or so.

Nice 2nd! I ended up 5th. Nice easy going bracket for a change. Almost didn't make it, had a water heater go bad on me today so have had very little playing time. I slipped way back in the Cap event, but I think with the rubber banding I can make it up in the am.

I think I'm going to jump into the GSBW event late also, that was the lowest score for a top 5 I've had in a long time.

I just started the pvp event at 11 pm est and I got 5th I love getting 30-40 points each time and by then nobody fights back cause most people shield by then. So I can get my GSBW to 89.. now I just need the iso. I think I stopped at 670 points in 30 mins.
