The tacos strike a geeat balance between being hardcore, but not taking things tooo too seriously. we have an active in game chat and have players with varied rosters.

the main thing i think we are looking for in Amish's sucsessor is someone who is active. IMO an active player with a good roster is more desirable than a less active player with an elite roster.

now if u have both...well...just sign on the dotted line.

BTW, you should put me in the OP as an original charter member, so that when I come back to this game in the year 2060 or something and there are all these young whipper snappers running around, I will not have been forgotten. Maybe put up a little statue pic that is inscribe "Not a 1200 point psycho, but good middle ground player who had his MPQ career visciously cut short by the nefarious RL". You know, nothing too gaudy

Since this is the best place to put any long term news, I'd like to say I will be inactive this weekend, as I'm going away, and will have sporadic internet connectivity and even less time to utilize it, probably enough to get a few matches in to get some rewards but not enough to be serious. Good luck, and I'll be trying to prop up some of my scores in the next couple of days, but this week hasn't been great to me.

Just throwing an idea out there, I'd like to get some feedback and see what you guys think.

I'm thinking now that we can see past PVP final results for the entire alliance, we make a move to stay competitive. My idea is keep track of our lowest 3, if your in the bottom 3 for 3 weeks in a row, we look for a replacement? I think this would work fairly well, everyone has RL get in the way sometimes which is understandable, but if it's 3 events in a row, it's probably too much for a top tier alliance. In a 20 person group, it's gonna be pretty unlikely to fall to the bottom for 3 events in a row unless your not making an effort. We can keep track of results here.

I'd like to hear opinions, if it's not a popular idea I'll drop it. Thanks

if a member or members are not performing consistently, its pretty clear. if it is due to a RL issue and its a one time deal, cool...stuff happenes from time to time for everyone. but if someone consistently demonstrates that they are not performing on the same level that most of the team is, im in favor of moving on.

Ok, so we've had 4 members for it, 0 against it. So, looks like its gonna be the way to go.

In the Doom tournament our bottom 3 are:

Alkader - 546 pts
R33f - 434 pts
Ashtar - 279 pts

i just want to point out that the "lowest 3" idea should only really apply if/ when a player is scoring low consistently AND it is a big difference from what most people in the alliance are scoring. for example a person who scores 200 points in consecutive pvps when the rest of he alliance scores somewhere around 600...this would be a situation where outside of a real life issue, we might want to think about moving on.

we dont want to become a no fun alliance or anything.

i think its a good idea, the only problem will be if someone is on holiday for 2 weeks

Agreed. I don't see finishing towards the bottom as a big deal if it's not a substantial gap from the group average or whoever's at 17th, etc.

I think it's more important to have a team of people that are playing regularly, then necessarily what scores everyone is putting up. It's more likely that not playing regularly will land you at the bottom 3, but being in the bottom 3 doesn't automatically mean you haven't put in a good effort in my opinion. Someone's always going to be 1st and someone's always going to be 20th as long as there are rankings.

I couldnt say it better, please also take into consideration if the score is low and average score, if a person is lowest 3 with a score of 700, i think there is no need for replacin. 200 score without communication, thats another thing.
