Just finished farming Simulator and checked in on DC. I was in the 70s and now after a handful of rounds am nearing top 10. I'm not going to sweat it since I don't need the covers, just going for the HP and iso.

It's 4.55 AM. I woke up to see that I'm #2 with 780pts. #1 is 785pts and unshielded. Luckily, I have him in my queue exactly where I want - in the jungle node. On my way to kick his butt

EDIT: aaaaaaand he just dropped into #2 with 750pts. I think I'm safe.

Uh, just finished the climb and shielded on top. Got the usual bang the moment I finished the last game to shield and go -- but less usually it was won, so instead putting me back to #3 I got to #1 with 1 match worth of lead.

That somewhat compensates for the line of #$%@#$% boards I got. Burned 3 or 4 health packs that is more than last month's consumption combined. (Probably.) never much liked the buffed Thor and all his powers go out in a nice row on my team especially the green one.

Got some heat but that is expected in this format really, along with the boredom of endless row of storm/thor/obw teams. sometimes with different storm, and the modern one obviously pulled most of her tricks on me, at least the heilstorm magic. (Which is not particularly damaging but ruins my vision bigtime -- the attack gfx is pretty big on a tile so it is hard to tell the colors apart at glance to see the matches.)

In the final games burned some boosts too but those will come back immediately in the simulator. Which I'm yet to enter, but only after some sleep.

Looked at the simulator entry, with the new display of buffed levels it is pretty intimidating -- I even took a snapshot of the 4 bosses in the front. Too bad inside they get the buffs one by one. (kidding, that would be more than boring).

I'll try to catch up the points -- the refresh is 12 hours, right? Then a few cycles is still available.

It's the jungle indeed, I stopped my initial ascent on #11. Then few minutes on I was already in t10. Later looked some unshielded fellers climbing to the very top with weak roster -- turned not wise enough to shield up immediately and next time was at the very bottom, at least 100 pts drop. Maybe more just was coming again.

I was fighting most of time in T10 carrying Hulk on my back just to avoid that experience, the buffed gods pay no respect to folks with puny 5k health.

Got into an argument with a family member earlier and was sitting there mulling over how mad I was about how unreasonable the person was being during my reshield DC grind. I just ran OBW right down to death twice in a row sitting on enough blue to have healed her both times. Wasted 2 health packs.

So please remember fellows, don't drink and drive and don't play MPQ angry. Both can lead to disaster.

I wasn't paying attention to this tournament but with 5 minutes left I noticed I was sitting at #11 and behind by 5 points, so I quickly played one more game to get #9 and got a blue Doctor Doom cover which I still need. Actually I need 2 of them but I don't see the point to use Dr. Doom, but more cover is always good. This is the first tournament I didn't use a shield on in a pretty long time and I forgot that it's actually really easy to place if you're not shooting for top 5.

With the +90 level buff he's kinda insane.

When we were fighting against him probably most people noticed that as soon as he get 9 blues it's retreat time. Or Doom time.

In a future where I have more spare ISO and BP black covers I'll experiment with a BP/Doom/X defense team. (x=PAtch, hulk, LT?). Wonder how long I would think before skip such a team

So what's she supposed strategy here to get max points? I'm kinda confused.

Just started play, only entered the hard sim, played 6 or 7 fast games -- only psylocke req nodes 1-2-3 times I think, looking at 12k points. In main good for #14. Main leader is at 21k, guess that is combined score. In my bracket lead is 1k away and I see 800-1000 points on the above nodes still with the rest untouched.

Rubberband is calculated against which score?

also, I see several applicants, anyne knows about Runeflinger? I look at 4x141 and other good stuff on roster but not ringing the bell.

Appearing on the top10 alliance list has some side effects: we have a flood if join requests, like several 3-4 new per minute. From everyone and the pussycat, * rosters and so on. The game is not exactly helpful to keep them at bay.

We should fill the 19th place ASAP so from there auto-kick can go without look.

Was S.H.I.E.L.D dropped in another bracket? Why they are not in #1?

I'm sure that flood comment was aimed at those dozens of players per hour that hop into our incoming members queue in hopes we'll blindly press the "Approve" button. We rather like talking to each other, so finding this forum thread is sort of a prerequisite to join. You are on the right way.
That said, I'm afraid we currently haven't got much room left. We'll take you into consideration, just don't get your hopes up too high. There's several players applying for the open spot, we obviously can't invite all of them in, as much as we'd like to.
