    Actually I was accidentally looking at the sub event ranking. I am now at 7826 for 18th overall. I'm gonna take a break for a while and grab some eats.

    Alliance is currently 14th with 33699. Keep up the good work! icon_e_smile.gif

    I think we'll finish in top25 if everyone just puts in the least effort into play. And extre cover goes ad deep down as #1000. So you can consider it in the pocket.

    But other rewards look good, there's a deal of HP and ISO and tokens, I guess most people will go for more. icon_e_wink.gif
    With 17 members engaged I think we have a good shot at top10.

    Ok I've seen many threads and read several different opinions. I want some alliance perspective. When grinding is it better to start with the high point battles and go down or the low point and go up?

    im pretty active with a decent roster of 3 and 2 stars.. hulk is at 112 and punsisher is 100 + bunch of maxed 2 stars (Thor, storm, wolv, b.widow) ..

    Holy cow, there are Alliance rewards not only for the general ranking, but for each node as well! Keep on grinding boys and girls!

    And we definitely need to increase our size. anyone with spare HP?

    I usually start with the high point value nodes and then work my way down because of rubberbanding. You get a bonus based on the difference between yourself and the highest point total for a player in your bracket. You should get about a %600 maximum bonus for clearing a node. Lets say for instance that the highest value node is worth 200 at its maximum charged amount. If you are far enough behind, it would be worth 1200 (%600 of normal due to rubberbanding bonus) where as a 100 point node would be only worth 600 with the rubberbanding. The rubberbanding bonus is adjusted after each fight depending on where it leaves you in the rankings.

    If you start grinding out the lower value nodes first, you will climb the ranks and get less of a rubberbanding bonus for the highest reward nodes which are typically the hardest fights.

    This is the way it works to the best of my understanding. If anyone has any corrections or further insight, please feel free to share it.

    Is DC that abandoned for everyone? At -6h I see #1 shielded at puny 719 points and #10 still at 515.

    If it stays this way I'm tempted to go for a #1 place that is not my habit. Probably play the 4-5 games into current top10 right now and look back at -3h.

    Anyone go to barred for another red sausage?

    DC seems pretty abandoned. I got hit 3 times between yesterday and today, though just aiming for a top 25 finish. Could use 2 more Doom blue covers but not going to put too much effort in it.

    Yay, got Spider Blue from the standard token! finally! I got him 3/0/3, so totally useless. It was the only cover I never had. all the others I got at least once (beside 4*).

    How are You doin in the Simulator? When I ended grinding normal mode, I was #1. Now I'm #3. Hard Mode is in progress and I'm 21.

    As for the team:
    #6 in Hard Mode
    #13 in Normal Mode
    #10 in General.

    Hey Guys,

    My name's Tom, ign: NazgulPrime. I've logged over 600 hours playing Marvel Puzzle Quest. I have every character in the game and all 1 and 2 star heroes with full covers. I'm diligently working on my three stars, so far, the best one is Punisher at level 102 with 10 covers (3 more and good ol' Frank will start to clean up).

    I'm looking for a 18-20 person Alliance, I'm currently ranked #1 in both simulators (the new event) and overall at #1 (both of them combined). I'm poised to win my bracket for the Divine Champions event when it ends (I'm shielded at 858 points and everyone below me is shielded as well). I play everyday and I put in work. My hours are screwy at work so I usually play late at night.

    I always deliver, weekends and holiday too. Let me know if you have space in the roster for me. If I make the cut, please let me know if I can just drop my alliance (4 people who don't play regularly who joined at random) and join you.

    I am sitting first in my hard mode bracket with a 700 point lead and we are currently #3 in alliance ranking in that bracket. Only completed one fight in easy mode and our alliance is #14 there. Going to rectify that now since my rubber banding is at max.

    Promote me and I will add another slot.
