Same iso gain as now but no more need rubberband to keep up or hike the difficulty to slow down anyone for fear they will outgrind anyone else. essentially a more involved 5-9 day prologue. You have that long to clear as many nodes as you can as many times as you can. The iso you get from "winning" is so minimal its hardly a loss. But that will never happen. -___________-
So essentially turn the event into an even bigger grind than it already is?
That's really what we've been missing.0 -

I'd say eliminate the time limits, throw them in a tab next to the prologue, eliminate all competitive aspects, and let people do them at their own pace. Keeps it from being too grindy; means you can always eventually get that last progression award even if it takes a month.0 -

And that makes a lovely free game. What's in it for the developers?0 -

PVP? New events that do have competitive aspects? Roster spaces? I'm not talking about eliminating all PVP or rankings, just adding old events to follow-up the prologue. The game needs more non-competitive content or people are going to burn-out and walk away.
The best thing developers can do for their profits is to have a game people want to play. If every single decision is made on a bottom-line basis the game will become completely unplayable and they won't make any money at all. I imagine a lot of people are looking at the game, realizing it's essentially 100% competitive after the prologue, and leaving. I almost did.0 -

Completely agree. They're going to have to add something like this to keep people around for the long haul. Every day/week/month can't be a pressure packed contest against the faceless masses especially if they're going to skew more towards RNG based rewards.0 -
Only made top 1000 last sub, and this sub I can't even beat Bolivia III - wiped several times to level 200+ bullseye and moonstone. Keep doing 1 point of damgage until moonstone inevitably gets off her photon blast.
Best Character is lvl 60 Thor. Restarted app several times. Seems like this one node is way out of sync with the others, which are 100 levels lower.0 -
The Bolivia sub was designed to be a really hard sub previously and the levels were by default quite high, this was always going to be a nightmare when you include scaling especially with 4 subs on the go.0
-
I see that, reading back.. 4 subs = higher scaling? Okay, good to know, even if I don't understand.0
-
Just because there's more missions to play and every mission you complete will increase the enemy level.0
-
I haven't done a second mission in any of the sub-brackets, just joined as soon as they opened. Don't look forward to the immense grinding I'm going to be doing 3 hours before they all end, ugh.0
-
Woke up past the eight-hour refresh. Would it be too horrible to just clear one or two subs now and focus on the other two within an hour of their closing? I am only concerned with main bracket placement.
And not too concerned this time around. Dark Souls!0 -
I used to just open them and wait, but this time the community scaling is so insane that if I wait, I can't do the missions because they all go Hard/Deadly and I only have 1 character over 45 (thankfully, that character is Thor). Also, luckily, I placed highly enough in some recent events to have Punisher/BP, so they are carrying me through.0
-
I just received the 120,000 progression reward to get my 5th black for Punisher...though I'm going to ditch this cover and go with a 4-4-5 build for Mr. Castle. I initially had planned just to reach 140,000 for the ISO. It looks like I'll be reaching that and 160,000 progression reward. This will be the first time I've gotten all of them.
I didn't realize there were four sub events until mid way through yesterday. Just tying to stay in the top 100, no additional grinding is really necessary.0 -
I don't understand scaling at all. All it accomplishes is making me not want to play except for 1 pass right before the event ends. Why would you punish a player for wanting to actually play the game? Just have easy, medium and difficult missions. Seems simple enough.0
-
I don't understand how everyone doesn't get frustrated getting waves and waves of 20 ISO.0

Sorry if this has been posted earlier. Has anyone been able to fight the "A New Ally" battle that was reopened in the main bracket? I fought it once back on the first day and got a black hulk, but it seems that if it was reopened that I should be able to play it again and get a green hulk but it's locked for me. Was it just a one time fight at the beginning of the PVE? If so why reopen it after hitting the point total mark? Thanks.0

You only get to play that mission once, hence the red check mark.0 -

That's lame. Then what was the purpose of the point tracker?0 -

It's a pretty big mistake not to go 5 green: it's his best ability and is a 50% damage boost from level 4->5.0
