    I always find it funny when I start at PVP 2.5 days in advance, and with 2 full days left, someone attacks me, plunging my score from 300 to 290.

    "Protect your score!! Buy a shield!!"

    I don't think I'm too worried about shielding in the 200s... there's not much for me to protect at this point. In fact, if I accidentally shielded at that point, I'd be pretty unhappy.

    You know what really feels wrong?

    That last node against IM40, 3Cap, and a sniper... get it to where it's only Cap left, and I watch in fascinated horror as he somehow intelligently overrides Luke's protect tile with his Star Spangled Avenger. Doesn't it always just toss Cap's CD tiles into a match 3 and lose them right away?

    Then the very next round against that node...

    The AI fires Recharge, there are a couple sniper CDs out, and the AI fires its team up power. 2* Ms. Marvel's Strategic Command. Overwrites 2 recharge tiles and the lowest CD for the sniper in one fell swoop, and it doesn't even benefit the AI to use Strategic Command with only one TU power available...

    Things like that just make you wonder.

    Can't believe nobody has mentioned Initial Board Control yet.

    Want to start on a board with only one purple? Bring Spider-Man for defense.

    Three boards in a row that open with twenty reds? Swap in Blade and you'll never see one again.

    A.I. using Daken? Nothing but green and blue from the beginning. You've got Daken? Look at all the yellow.

    IM40 = One yellow tile in each corner and that's it. Recharge? Not on my watch!

    And so on....

    I don't know if this is mentioned before. I just realized by playing against many AI that some of the best power to create a HUGE cascade are,

    Daken's blue (turn 2 blue tiles to green)
    Venom's purple (add 1 green tile)
    Human Torch's red (pop 2 red tiles)

    Me: Use "{insert any character's power that adds 9 tiles to the board here}" just to set up the board so that the next move made by the AI creates a freaking huge cascade that yields probably 30+ AP.

    The game was trolling me yesterday during the Cyclops PVP... I'd use IF purple ability twice in a row to generate black to obliterate the opponent... these are 3 different fights where the game was trolling me... trying to make sure I wouldn't win.
