Join Howard the Duck and solve the case of Spider-Man's missing Aunt May! Wait, really? Yes, really!
Is the absent Aunt May kidnapped by the Kree? Is she just at the store? I mean, no. It's a third thing. Did you think we'd really spoil it for you here?

Is anyone doing a transcript of the dialog?
I'm in the habit of just clicking through absentmindedly.
This time I would sorta like to read the story, but I've clicked through out of habit several times.0 -
Something is wrong with the point scoring. The last node of the first day is a three-wave node, which was clearly marked as worth 1000 points.
After completing it the first time, I was awarded 961 points.
Even if scaling is accidentally turned on, should that not work only in my favor? I also completed the node about 5 hours into my slice (the first one).0 -
I completed the first mission, but it didn't unlock a second one. What am I doing wrong?0
-
It's a pretty standard event. One non-repeatable node to unlock each sub-event. Sub-event has a loaner node, three easy, three hard, and three featured. The second easy and third hard are wave nodes with named characters. The second hard node is 3 + Lieutenant + Assassin and gave me a difficult time (although Lieutenant + anything sucks with them spamming Burst of Health for 1k) so I went into the last node injured and wiped. Will try again once my team is healed.0

Edit: Listed 950, gave 950. I thought it was worth a little more earlier but I can't swear to it. I'll keep an eye on it when it refreshes.0 -

its not fun at all.. wave nodes and expect a TON of wave nods in stage 2 and 3
3600 for a full clear... 3 would net you around 10k... you need 55k for the cp.. even at a 50% jump
10k 15k 22k 47k you will not make it so there has to be a ton of wave nodes in stage 2 and 3...
sorry but for doc.oct i pass0 -
So, Howard likely to be one time reward on day 3 ? Anyone shout when they see him.0
-
So is the final wave node giving only one reward per clear? Like hell I'm going to grind 3 waves for the chance at rewards like 70 iso and a critical boost if that's the case.0
-

Both wave nodes give one reward per clear. Final node rewards are: CP,Crit Boost, and ISO - 500, 250,100, 100, 70.0 -
One reward per clear on wave nodes?!? That's just stupid. And on top of that the 3* reward is Doc Ock? This "season" is a whole lot of April Fools on us.0

While screwing around in the trivial nodes, I've found that Howard (I only have the one purple cover), 1* Spider-Man and Squirrel Girl is a reasonably fun team. Sure you have no black whatsoever and an iffy yellow, but for a team randomly cobbled together from a pretty goofy story they're not so bad...0
-
The Survival Nodes are odd...
In EOTS they give a single ridiculous burst of ISO and a cool prize then nothing.... which is frustrating because you have to grind to hit progression and get nothing for it.
Here, they don't give you the single bountiful reward, but do give you something each time you clear it... which on the face of it is good, until you realise that the rewards are just the normal node rewards, so nothing extra for a node that, for me, is 3 waves... 3 DA, then 5 Goons, then 2 Goons and Sentry... levels 168-228 apparently... and therefore takes a lot more effort to clear than normal 3v3 nodes
So it is a step in the right direction without actually making substantial progress and potentially upsetting players again...
Mind you, the actual story etc is pretty cool
And any event where I get to effectively use Spidey is ok by me0 -

Howard and 3* Spider-Man OTOH are not a good team as I found out when my Duck Duck Loose only made two tiles thanks to all the protect tiles.0 -

I mean, they are worth a ridiculous amount of points. The last node is worth about half of every other node combined. I don't recall offhand how much node 2 is worth but it's trivial so shouldn't be too big a deal either way.0 -

Thank you.
This is ridiculous. Why can't they test the events before publishing them?!0 -
FYI, there are no survival nodes in Sub 2. Just lots of Kingpin, 3* Bullseye and Maggia goons. Story is still fun, too.0
