    Slippery Stream - 13 redtile.png

    Grease Fire! - 8 yellowtile.png
Tony lights all the slippery stuff, spurring all his pyromantic friends into action! Entranced by the flames, Iron Man (Formula 40) is momentarily stunned by the display.

    4th and Long blueflag.png 12 AP

SuperPro goes for it all with a Hail Mary pass to himself and pulls off the play. Deals 8,000 damage to a single enemy.

If team has more than 12 tutile.png AP then this power turns into Press Conference.

    Press Conference:
After the big game SuperPro answers questions with bland answers while sporting sponsored sports gear. Team earns 1,000 Iso at end of match for endorsing MPQ licensed gear.

    Timeout yellowflag.png 6 AP

SuperPro calls a quick timeout to get the team a breather from the fight. Stuns SuperPro for 1 turn and heals all team mates for 1,000 health.

Could go all the way... redflag.png 10 AP

SuperPro shakes and bakes his way to victory. Deals 4,000 damage to the entire enemy team. If an enemy is below 50% health that enemy is also stunned for 2 turns.

At Max Level: HP: 43529 Tile Damage: 81/74/639/497/568/68/4.0x

      Unnecessary Reboot 12 bluetile.png AP
Over the years Spider-Man has grown and matured, he’s built up a diverse rogue’s gallery and he’s made some amazing friends… It must be time to start everything over and go back to the beginning with Peter Parker in high-school once again! Heals Spider-Man for 100% of his health. If Miles Morales or Spider-Gwen are on either team they are stunned for 5 turns – every reboot pushes back the time you’ll see either of them on the screen.

Unnecessary Reboot also replaces Spider-Man’s powers depending on how many covers it has.
      Level Upgrades
        Level 1:
      Unnecessary Reboot becomes Origin Story
      Origin Story 11 bluetile.png AP
Will it be a radioactive spider, or genetically modified spider, or maybe some sort of nanomachine spider this time? Either way, Peter Parker is starting over from scratch. Drains all AP from both teams

Level 2: Shadowy Acrobatics becomes Romantic Subplot.
      Romantic Subplot 9 purpletile.png AP
Will Peter Parker's first true love be Gwen Stacy or Mary Jane Watson? Either way some fans are going to be really happy with it and some fans will be steaming mad. Creates 3 friendly strength 259 attack tiles and 3 enemy strength 259 strike tiles. (Max Level: Attack and strike tiles are strength 1337.)

Level 3: Automotive Artillery becomes Webshooters?
      Webshooters? 6 greentile.png AP
Is this latest reboot going to feature Spider-Man building advanced polymer-slinging mechanical webshooters in his bedroom, or simply spraying sticky organic webs from his wrists the all-natural way? You won’t know until you try them. Each time Webshooters? is activated it randomly fires off either Original Spider-Man's Web Swing, Bag-Man's Web-Slinger, or Classic Spider-Man's Web Bandages.

Level 4: Typical shy nerd high school drama, inexplicably arachnid-based science experiments, great power, great responsibility, yadda yadda yadda... Origin Story also stuns enemy team for 3 turns. When Spider-Man activates any other power the audience- I mean the enemy team, wakes up.

Level 5: R-Rating. Hey, it worked for Deadpool, right? Origin Story has the additional effect "(Passive) Whenever Spider-Man damages an enemy the board is splattered with blood, turning 3 random tiles to red." Also, Spider-Man's
Romantic Subplot power now creates 4 random web tiles in addition to its other effects.

Level 1: Does 100 damage. Places a two-turn countdown tile that changes this power to Baked Bean Blight while it is on the screen.
Level 2: Does 150 damage. Places a two-turn countdown tile that changes this power to Baked Bean Blight while it is on the screen.
Level 3: Does 200 damage. Places a three-turn countdown tile that changes this power to Baked Bean Blight while it is on the screen.

Level 5: Does 500 damage. Places a five-turn countdown tile that changes this power to Baked Bean Blight while it is on the screen.

      Baked Bean Blight - 6 redtile.png
Uh oh! Hulk really overdid it eating those beans. Watch out! Ewwww. Too late.
Level 1: Does 300 damage to the enemy team.
Level 2: Does 400 damage to the enemy team.
Level 3: Does 500 damage to the enemy team.
Level 4: Does 600 damage to the enemy team.

        Identity Crisis 8 purpletile.png
Hank has been feeling depressed lately and thinks a moniker change is what he needs to get back on top. Changes Hank’s character name to “Yellowjacket” for three turns. Stuns the enemy for 1 turn.

Level 2: Deadpool made a quip about Hank’s powers being lame. It was just a joke, but jokes can still sting you to the core and Hank is feeling low self-esteem. Another name change should do the trick! Changes Hank’s character name to “Goliath” for three turns. Stuns the enemy for 2 turns. Level 3: Costs 7 AP. Hank accidentally caught a glimpse of Luke Cage changing in the Avengers locker room. He starts to feel, well, “inadequate” and that he needs to compensate somehow. Changes Hank’s character name to “Giant Man” for three turns. Stuns the enemy for 2 turns. Level 4: Turns out Janet has told Hank that she needs some space…again. Feeling depressed, he tries out a very weird strategy to try to win her back that doesn’t work and only kind of creeps everyone out. Changes Hank’s character name to “Wasp” for three turns. Stuns 2 enemies for 2 turns. Level 5: Uh oh, Hank’s broken open the liquor cabinet again. You know what that means. Changes Hank’s character name to “Whatever, I Give Up” for three turns. Stuns 2 enemies for 2 turns and deals 360 damage to all female allies and enemies.

                  Important notice on caltrops

Following the feedback from the last Enemy of the State run, we will be modifying Caltrops. While the damage from the trap will not be altered, as we feel the damage output is in line with other powers, we will be adding a detection method that provides a deeper game play experience.

If you select a gem with a caltrop attached, a random sound from our special caltrop sound bank will be played (yes, the game has sound), allowing you to avoid matching it. To ensure that you are aware of the caltrop, the programme will access your device and turn the volume to max for this sound, even if sound effects have been turned off in the menu.

The tactical game play choice is therfore between slow methodical play, hunting out and avoiding the caltrops, or speed play, with the inherent risks of running over a whole mess of them, like Lego without your shoes on.

When Kishu's level is 100 or above, if you create a cascade where more than one caltrop activates, the following video clip will be played:

                  https://youtu.be/0w6L93kD3xw

(please be assured that the video clip is 100% SFW and contains no Rick Astley).

                  The sound bank includes:
                  Clown's Horn
                  Whoopie Cushion
                  Scream of Pain
                  Happy Lady*
                  Evil Laugh
                  Warning Klaxon

                  * using GPS and Bluetooth, the programme will determine when you are at work or in the vicinity of you partner, and use this sound exclusively.

                  Rock Bottom - Passive yellowtile.png
(PASSIVE) Not to be outdone by the likes of Cyclops or Iceman when an ally with less health than the Thing would take 913 or more damage, the Thing moves to the front and "turns the other cheek" and then creates 2 strength 137 Yellow Protect tiles.
                  Level Upgrades
Level 2: If an ally would take 913 or more damage, creates 2 strength 201 Yellow Protect tiles.
Level 3: If an ally would take 822 or more damage, creates 3 strength 146 Yellow Protect tiles.

                  * BONUS * - To Hot to Handle: If Cyclops is on the opposing team he realizes he is beaten and retreats from battle.
Level 4: If an ally would take 730 or more damage, creates 4 strength 146 Yellow Protect tiles.
                  * BONUS * - Melted: If Iceman is on the opposing team he realizes he is beaten and retreats from battle.
Level 5: If an ally would take 685 or more damage, creates 5 strength 183 Yellow Protect tiles.
                  * BONUS * - Puny God: If Loki is on the opposing team he realizes he is beaten and retreats from battle. Enemy is drained of all Black AP.
                  Max Level
Level 3: Jumps in at 1629 damage, creates 3 strength 289 Yellow Protect tiles.

My entry: our jolly ol' buddy Parker Robbins, introducing a new mechanic even: count-UP tiles! Dish out some blue covers for this guy and before long you'll be drowning in ISO-8.

                  The Hood (Party Hat version)

                  Funification - Passive blacktile.png
MPQ doesn't need Deadpool to lighten up the atmosphere when Parker Robbins dons his magical cloak with party hat!

(Passive) Replaces the default music with Nyan cat music. All matches make a 'Ka-pow!' sound effect. Music and sound effects cannot be turned off.

                  Upgrades:
2: Match 4s make a 'Foom!' sound effect.
3: Match 5s make a 'Bada-bing!' sound effect and increase count of all count tiles on the board with 1 (max 20).
4: While cascading, each additional match increases the pitch of the sound effects played.
5: A win is not a win if it doesn't get some sparkles! Upon winning, the sparkly 'Victory!' banner is shown and 'this vid' plays. If you let play it to the end, Dormammu's Aid victory power is doubled.

                  Dormammu's Aid - Passive bluetile.png
AP? Who needs AP? It's all about the ISO-8. The more ISO-8, the more fun, right? Dormammu will provide you with all ISO-8 you need to level up your meager roster.

                  (Passive):
                  - At the start of your turn, if there is no such tile already on the board: place a count-1 tile that counts up each turn to a maximum of 20.
                  - At the start of your turn, all countup tiles with a count of 20 have their count halved to 10. But for each tile affected a basic tile is converted into a new count-5 countup tile
                  - Sum the counts of all owned countup tiles. Your tile match damage is increased by this amount.
                  - Sum the counts of all owned countup tiles. When you win the match, you receive this amount as ISO bonus.

                  Upgrades:
2 covers: ISO-8 gained is increased to Sum x 3.
3 covers: Adds an active component for this power: 9 bluetile.png Halves the count of all owned countup tile counters and converts a chosen basic tile to a count-1 countup tile.
4 covers: ISO-8 gained is increased to Sum x 5
5 covers: No countup tile reset when placing a new tile.

                  Fun Pistols - yellowtile.png 10 AP
Parker Robbins fires his twin 'BANG!' guns, making everybody stop for a hearty laugh. Stuns everyone but the Hood for 1 turn.

                  Upgrades:
2 covers: Parker Robbins holds his breath and sneaks away to increase the count of all count tiles by 1 (max of 20).
3 covers: The Bang! guns also pop confetti. Everyone enjoys the frivolous display for an extra turn. (Stuns for 2 turns).
4 covers: Increase all counts by 2 (max of 20).
5 covers: In his enthusiasm, the Hood has overloaded his guns with confetti causing them to explode in his face. The Hood takes 400 damage, but everybody else is rolling on the floor laughing. (Stuns for 3 turns).

                  icon_captainamerica.pngSteve Rogers (MCU)

                  redflag.png Team Player, 9 redtile.png
Steve Roger's experience, charisma, and pecs make him a natural leader. Places a random 4 turn countdown tile that reduces all damage to his team by 20 plus 5 for each team-up AP. When the countdown finishes, depletes all your team-up AP and converts to a protect tile of strength 5 per team-up AP used. If one of his teammates uses naughty words, this power becomes Language!
                  2. Base damage reduction is 30. Protect strength is 7 per team-up AP
                  3. Each team-up AP reduces damage by 10. Protect strength is 8 per team-up AP.
                  4. Base damage reduction is 35, and each team-up AP reduces by a further 15.
                  5. Creates a 5-turn countdown tile that reduces all damage to team by 40, and an additional 20 per team-up AP. Converts to a protect tile strength 10 per team-up AP depleted when the countdown completes.

                  redflag.png Language! 9 redflag.png
Steve's old-fashioned sensibilities makes his easily annoyed by today's potty-mouthed youngsters. Angrily hurls his shield at target enemy, dealing 500 damage, and 300 damage to each of Steve's allies as it wildly ricochets back.
(Passive) His annoyance causes friction in the team, causing all non-red abilities to cost 3 more AP.
(Passive) Infighting gives the enemy ample opportunity to attack you. Creates a strength 150 Attack Tile for the enemy team if one doesn't already exist.
                  2. Deals 750 damage to target enemy. Enemy attack tile strength 140.
                  3. Deals 1000 damage to target and 250 to Steve's allies. Non-red abilities cost 2 more AP.
                  4. Deals 1500 damage to target. Enemy attack tile strength 125.
                  5. Deals 2500 damage to target and 150 to allies. Non-red abilities cost 1 more AP. Enemy attack tile strength 100.

                  blackflag.png Still Catching Up (Passive)
Old Steve was frozen for a long time and is still trying to figure out what's going on. Stunned characters are immediately shifted to the back of their team.
                  2. Steve somehow found an actual newspaper and read up on some current events (from the 80s). Passive abilities still work when a character is downed.
                  3. Steve learns about color television (and that it's not safe to watch past 8PM). Championed heroes are reduced in level to their maximum non-Champion level.
                  4. Steve discovers the internet. Wait Steve! don't click that link! Epic character match damage is reduced by 90%.
                  5. ...Steve wants to go back home. When will the time machine be ready Tony? Bursts of health become true health.

yellowflag.png I Can Do This All Day (Passive)
Steve has always been scrappy, even when he was a bobblehead. If he takes more than 10% of his max health in damage from the enemy, he's knocked down, creating a 4-turn Get Up! yellow countdown tile. If the enemy matches this tile, Steve lunges to his feet, stunning the enemy for one turn with a sucker punch. Steve gets a burst of 4% of his max health when the countdown finishes.
(Passive)While Get Up! is on the board, Steve is stunned. This will not disable Still Catching Up.
                  2. Enemy takes 300 damage when matching Get Up!. Burst of health increases to 5%.
                  3. Enemy takes 500 damage when matching Get Up!. Burst of health increases to 6%.
                  4. Enemy takes 900 damage and is stunned for two turns when matching Get Up!.
                  5. Enemy takes 1500 damage and is stunned for two turns when matching Get Up!. Steve gets a burst of health of 10% max health when Get Up! finishes.

                  Power Cost greentile.png 0

(Passive) Emotionally overwhelmed by the continual loss of her teammates to enemy match cascades, Wanda reaches out with her mind to re-shape MPQ "reality." If the enemy team should initiate a cascade of 5 or more matches, deals 500 damage to the enemy team.

                  Level Upgrades:
Level 2: Enemy cascade of 4 or more matches, 600 damage to the enemy team.
Level 3: Enemy cascade of 3 or more matches, 800 damage to the enemy team.
Level 4: Enemy cascade of 2 or more matches, 1100 damage to the enemy team.
Level 5: Enemy cascade of 2 or more matches, 2000 damage to the enemy team.

                  At Max Level:
Level 3: Enemy cascade of 4 or more matches, 2400 damage to the enemy team.
Level 4: Enemy cascade of 3 or more matches, 3200 damage to the enemy team.
Level 5: Enemy cascade of 2 or more, enemy team eliminated (a la Deadpool points for "Whales! Whales! Whales!").

                  • Here at D3 we promise to add even more Wolverines, Dakens, Spiderman, Venoms, and Carnages to make these games even lengthier in the future. Making the same characters in different outfits is something we take great pride in and doesn’t take much creativity so we promise to continue to do this for your enjoyment and our paychecks.
                  • This power was designed to play into D3 goal to make pvp matches last all day and use heals. It also plays into their desire to turn this from a fun and strategic game into a game of silly cartoons.

                  Power Cost - 7 yellowtile.png

The wise-cracking web-head befuddles his foe and removes his mask to reveal he is in fact Barney Stinson! And creates a Legen-wait for it: 10 turn countdown timer... -dary! Where he attempts to seduce the opposite team and stuns one female character for one turn while countdown is active.

Power Level 2 - Runs a play from the playbook and is so intriguing that men are so curious about the play they are also distracted to find out how it turns and one male is also stunned for a turn.
Power Level 3 - Weekend at Barney's - Barney pretends to be a dead guy and also creates an invisible tile which targets himself.
Power Level 4 - What exactly do you do? Oh please. - Also generates 1 AP of every color every turn.
Power Level 5 - When the countdown timer activates, it generates a Legen wait for it - I hope you're not lactose intolerant because the next word is -dary token!

First time poster so I don't have the colors down yet.

                    *** Spider-Man (The Pie Man) ***

Pie in your face - Blue
Spider-man throws pies into the enemy’s face stunning them for 1 turn. He then bakes a Lemon Meringue Pie and leaves it on the board.
Level 2: If there are three pies on the board, the enemy will slip on one of them causing them to be stunned for an additional turn.
Level3: If there are two pies on the board, the enemy will slip on one of them causing them to be stunned for an additional turn
Level4: If there is another pie on the board, the enemy will slip on one of them causing them to be stunned for an additional turn.
Level5: If there is another pie on the board, the enemy will slip on one causing them to be stunned for an additional turn. If there are at least two pies on the board, the enemy will slip again trying to stand up and be stunned for a third time.

                    Hungry??? – Yellow
Fighting bad guys sure makes a person hungry. That’s why you need to recharge with Spidey’s Home Made Lemon Meringue Pies. His teammates eat a bite of this for a health increase of 142. If he’s cooked more than three pies they dig in for an additional 149 health.
Level 2: Add a hint of Lime. That little bit of a lime goodness gives a bit of a kick increasing base healing to 199.
Level3: Time for the Cool Thwip. Spidey uses his web shooter to top the pie with Cool Whip increasing base healing to 256.
Level4: SPRINKLES. The added color on the pies increase his teammates morale as well as their health for a base healing of 312.
Level5: The Cherry on Top. The coup de resistance. This topper puts the jelly in the jam and giving a base healing of 369.
Max level: After spending the summer as an intern for the Cake Boss in Hoboken, Spidey has become an expert pie maker. His pies heal his team for 2,314 with an additional 934 if there are three pies on the board.

Time to make the Donuts – Purple.
Let’s face it the bad guys can get hungry too. If there aren’t any purple donuts on the board, he’ll make one when his team matches purple tiles. The scent of that new plain donut distracts the bad guy causing him to deliver a less powerful blow.
Level 2: Glazed. Back at work in the oven he’ll create up to 2 donuts to distract the enemy. The sweet smell distracts even further
Level3: Mmmm. Chocolate. Up to three donuts are out on the board at one time to distract the enemy.
Level4: Jelly. A jelly donut can be added as a last resort bringing the total number donuts up to four on the board at a time.
Level 5: Boston Crème. Spidey will have up to five donuts on the board at one time. The last one being the ever popular Boston Crème. He would have half a dozen out there, but he got hungry and ate the powdered one.
