True story: I dredged up some way old Thunderkittens forum threads and I was going to post something like, "there Derick214, I found it for you", but then I thought to myself... that is NOT the Care Bear way. Derick214 doesn't have a forum home and he needs one. Although he may be brutish and uncouth, CBS will take all kinds. Please, come in, take off your shoes, and enjoy the visit.

So the servers are down again... apparently I'm not a part of any alliance. And our alliance doesn't show up when searched.

I'm starting to be a conspiracy theorist... seems like every time an event closes, we get "server" issues lately. Lol.

I hope so as well but I'm shocked Klinsman left Donavon off the 23 man roster. Sure he's lost a step, but he's still the best player in American history and hasn't dropped off that far yet. After getting cut, 2 days later he scores 2 goals and gets an assist for the LA Galaxy. I think losing his experience will hurt us in the end.


Psssst.... BTW, we're sitting 36th right now in the Prodigal Sun PvE main event. Where you kitty's at? Stare!!!

I have an important announcement. I know this is something Tonzil in particular was concerned about it.

After a great deal of effort and time, I've got the varsity squad - all 16 of them - up to level 95. And, in honor of certain members of our alliance now being able to stop shaking, I'll probably take the opportunity to level up the two 3*s below their soft cap - GSBW from 77 to 89, and Lazy Daken from 30 to 66. Though, given how much ISO that's going to take, I might not. I may instead start taking the 95s to 96. BWAH-HAH-HAH!

I'm starting to feel some burnout during this last PvE sub. The nodes have interesting enemy combos and it's nice to fight good guys for once but MAN, some battles are just tough. Hulk/Panther goon wiped me once.

On the up side: Falcon is a COMPLETE counter to Hawkeye once you have 4 blue covers. Cripples Hawkeye like a bird without wings.

Also, I've theory crafted a little bit, and I'm sure someone else has come to this conclusion already (but's not been reading the sentry thread), but Hulk will obliterate sentry. World Rupture can potentially trigger like 20 Angers, that's enough to make the entire board green. Maybe I should level Hulk for the obligatory Sentry PvP.

Anyhoo... I am drawn to threads about sandboxing, but it's just cause I want to ask if anyone has come back from the sanbox. That's all. But that question always seems to rile up somebody though. As if i dared to offend the developer's foolproof methods for flagging cheaters.

And secondly, for the sake our newer members, not that there are insinuations out there, but I indeed purchased all 20 roster slots myself. Why is that so unthinkable and unfathomable? I know I'm not the only alliance that's done it that way. I did what I wanted to do cause I wanted to create an alliance the way I wanted it to be. And I pleased and proud of our membership.

As someone who was in S.T.E.A.L.T.H. for 5 min I have to say that his alliance failed to convey nearly as much personality as CareBearStare has. Then again, it was in it's infancy and we all know that infants have ZERO personality. But I've yet to get a feel for what their mission statement is all about, apart from adopting a ninja as their sig.

@DecoyDuck: Alliance slots and roster slots are the only two things that spending money on seems to be a good investment. And this alliance has a harmony about it that I'm not sure many other alliances possess.

I kept Fatal Attraction for this morning, I wanted to push for the Daken cover in PVE last night (got it!)

But then I got caught in the server outage just after hitting 300 points, and I had to leave for work. I'm so sorry that I couldn't push more for us all.

Ugh, looks like there still might be some issues. I just did two PvE missions and they don't appear to have added to my parent event score, so I'm no closer to that Daken cover.... argh!

That sucks! I've gotten burned like that before, trying to wait until last minute to start an event and then getting caught up with something or just forgetting about it and missing out completely. I always try to at least start an event earlier now just to be sure I get at least the BEAR minimum participation prize. At least you got the Daken PvE prize
