Rapidly losing interest in the red-iso event. Without subs and with the progression rewards so spaced out after 15k, it's not very rewarding to play matches in the event. Hopefully we'll have new nodes in the morning and I'll find some motivation.
I think a lot of us are feeling that way about the red ISO event, but wanted to throw out a thanks for your contributions to the alliance scores! Our ranking is in great shape and it's all thanks to everyone's participation!
Who knows, maybe we'll all take a break from the "First Avenger" tournament...0 -
Personally, I'm already sick of the "Gold" characters & their tournies. I don't see the point of having duplicates like that. It's like they went and funbalanced Thor, just to give him the "Gold" treatment and have him be overpowered again. What gives? ...And cap's yellow is still terrible and unusable.0

Yeah people, dont feel pressured to perform in the name of the alliance. I think we all did quite well in the last few events. We all got the needed covers, so, lighten up0 -
So apparently my html and posting a sig is rusty, do i have to copy from an image site to be able to put one in? Any one able to make me feel silly for how easy it is lol.
And yes the ISO event is silly, unfortunately most of the events are who can cram in the last hour...There's not really a way to pull head by a margin that doesn't require constant attention. I can get myself to 15 or so, wake the next day to be 150.0 -
As long as no one bothers me, I ended the wolvie thing with 659 points. I actually put out for a shield a couple hours before it ended so I could push for more. Pretty good for only putting a few hours into the event. Pretty sure we nailed a yellow cap'n crunch cover0

That being said, you're still going to get the yellow 3-star Cap cover, adamLmpq.
Yellow LazyCap delivered!
Good work everyone!0 -
People were pretty serious about those cap covers. 10th place was at 730 points. It's possible, but difficult for me so I was just aiming for top 25 for the HP and if I don't get it, whatever. Didn't push super hard but I did want to get some points. Ended up with a bit under 600 points.
Someone already has 990 points in my brackets, wow. I don't think I've seen a score that high before and we're far from done (a member of SHIELD, shoulda known!).
I mean, I don't care as I was never aiming for first. I only really care about how good the 10th best player in the bracket is. I'm just impressed0 -

Do you think it Is that competitive only because of the new covers? I'm short on a lot of covers so finishing in the Top 50 usually gets me a little further than I was before and I have no delusions of being good enough for first even on stuff with older covers0 -
The jump from 2nd to 1st is ridiculous! Imagine how many low level matches this guy had to grind through for that!0

Got myself up to first in Unstable iso-8 while I'm stuck in the waiting room while my partner is getting laser eye correction surgery. 31570 points has me exactly 200 points above #2, and less than 800 points above #10. It's still an incredibly tight pack at this point, and the point acquisition hasn't sped up much yet.0

Hi, I have been consistently #1 in the Unstable iso 8 event and have 31,000. About to start playing today to keep gaining.
I want to join an alliance just for this event. Afterwords you can kick me if you don't like my roster, however i am very active.
PM me if you would like my points added to your alliance for this event.0 -

I hate to shatter the illusion, but I've only hit #1 in a PVP once in my entire career. Typically top 25, but I could do top 10 if I spend a lot on shields (I knew I should've bought some HP during the sale!). I don't think I've ever seen a PVP not be competitive. If the cover rewards are good, then everyone wants them. If the covers are not as good, then everyone jumps in thinking the pool will be shallow. Then there are the glory hounds that need #1 despite already having all the covers. Now that we have alliances, everyone is doing it for their teams... which is actually pretty commendable. I don't need any more GSBW covers, but there's a couple folks in our alliance that could benefit from her cover so maybe I should try to throw in a couple hundred points.0 -

I think we are currently full.

It's a matter of luck. I just happen to be in a bracket with one really good player. 2-10-wise, there's nothing out of the ordinary. Sometimes you just end up in a bracket where 700 is good for 12th, sometimes 700 is good for 2nd
My Wolverine tourney bracket was pretty competitive top 10, but I normally get pretty easy brackets (600-650 is normally good for top 10 for me) so I'm just gonna keep my join-time schedule the same
I just looked at your roster. The GSBW rewards seem to have come at a great time for you. Primarily 2*, with GSBW at 3/3/2. This tourney could bring you to 4/4/3, and with a speculated GSBW tourney coming up this should be awesome
I'm behind you in terms of roster strength but I have pretty much the same thinking. Any sort of 3* prize advances me so I'm not very picky.0 -

I wonder when this magical join time is and how I may subscribe to your newsletter... but don't say it out loud, or you'll ruin it for everyone (and yourself)!0 -

Yep. The brackets always seems competitive to me. I'm sure its the luck of the draw but I don't think I've ever really threatened anyone in the top spot .
I'm looking forward to the GSBW rewards. I can use them and it'll be done just in time before I go on vacation so all in all hopefully good timing for me.0 -
my bracket is so os. i have my ups and downs and now i am #1 and shielded for tonight at 707 points. on red iso i am #10 with 32,2k and #1 is only 350 points ahead, but since every fight is worth 50-65 points i dont feel like fighting. so till tomorrow: GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD FIGHT0

EST, after work and I get off work half an hour earlier than the 5PM crowd. It takes me just under 10 minutes to get back from work. A few minutes to turn on my computer, getting changed, going to the washroom, drinking water etc. Then the first thing I do after my computer loads up is enter a bracket, be it a PvE or PvP event.
I'll let you work out this complicated math problem. I don't care if I said this publicly, it won't affect anything because math is hard and noone will bother solving these complicated equations0
