The person at #1 in my main has managed to carve out a rather big gap but everything else is very tight. I should have no problem getting 2 covers, and with a bit of luck will stay in the top 10 (currently in 5th).

I'm being totally sloppy with refresh timings, just waiting until I notice that the points are up again, but not tracking very closely. It has been sufficient to stay very high so far and I don't think it'll be that different in the last days, even if others grind a bit more. The one thing that could get me to get to tracking is that I'm at 196k points, so I'm trying to figure out if I can make it to 250k for the big iso reward.

If you try to maximize your rubberbanding, like playing 1 or 2 hours before the refreshes i think you shouldnt have problems to get there. I was 168k at the end of the the last subs, and just reached 202k

Ah-ah! You were right, made it handily. Can't really play the last few hours however, as I'm already later than I should be for work. Still, as I'm #2 right now, I think I'll be able to hold on to top 50 for 2 covers. *knocks on wood*

Good luck in the last push everybody! And good job on the Hood tournament, it's really good to see that our first few top 50's weren't a fluke, that we're solidly there.
  • Hey,

I could provide around 239k points for the event. More is just not possible with my job and the lady. Hope this is enough to be competitive

That's a HUGE contribution! Great job! I ended with a bit over 250K (wanted that 8000iso reward after spending SO MUCH on boosts). Blue covers for everyone!
  • Ok great, was not sure about the score because I barely made it top 75. We all have the new captain america for the upcoming events!

I tried to play from work, i connected to my pc remotely but the connection wasnt the best so matches were very slow, only managed top 10 in the main and top 50 in both subs after leading in every event. Damn it.
    260k.

Ok ok, im the proud owner of a 1/1/1 lvl 20 LazyCap thanks to the alliance. Go carebearstare!

    That's some dedication.
  • Congrats to all in The Stare! Three shiny Cap covers woohoo! I ended up with 253k in the main event. Pulled a lucky Black BP from a Heroic as well. Ugh, so many 3 star characters needing some serious ISO love.

hehe I have no 3 star left to lvl up. Covers that is what I need. I got the iso ^^
  • Aye.

Thank you all. I too managed to squeak out 3 Caps... First overall at 10:00 a.m. EST (in all simulator events).

Than had some important poeple at work for a 4.5 hour meeting.

Logged in, in the afternoon and managed to be top 50 in all 3...

    OUCH!

Anyhows - 3 Caps! YAY and I pulled an IW (blue) from a token. I guess the CAREmic BEARlance (karmic balance) gave me my due.
  • Welcome back M3saia!

Event end was bad timing for me, missed the last 15 or so hours of the event and walked away with 2 OBW covers... I had just over 200k points, want to say 210k as I remember seeing the "next reward at 250k." I'm just a little disappointed because boosted Lazy Thor was the strongest character I've ever had so I should have rocked this sub-event and for the most part I was clearing the nodes pretty well, but the ending time was inconvenient

Well on the bright side, I learned something. Every event is gonna have good end times and bad end times, and I didn't exactly make the most out of the time where the ending time was convenient. All I can do is look forward and do better next time I guess!

Yay! Welcome back. How was this solved in the end? D3 CS does work on weekends?

I'm having trouble building an effective team around my Hood since I don't have a blue cover for him, cutting off one of his critical abilities. I shielded at 647 when I started getting retaliations from my latest push and I don't think it'll be beneficial to my score/the alliance score for me to try to push again closer to the end.

That's a great score for having no blue Hoods! I can't believe you kept those retaliations away for as long as you have!

It depends on your MMR I guess. In 1* land it's basically two 1* characters and a min level 3* so it's essentially a 2v2 battle with 1*s. In 2* land, most people have no more than 5 covers in their 3*s, usually even less so it has the same dynamic of 2v2 with 2*s. I'm juuuuust about ready to move forward and have relevant 3*s, so I'll finally know what it feels like to battle with a relevant boosted character in PvP (Divine Champions doesn't count!)!

This next tourney is a bit brutal on me. The system is matching me with fair, even and challenging matchups. What bogus is this!

All the better to have an alliance smooth out the "wrinkles" of good end times and bad end times. We're all getting at LEAST a single 3-star cover per alliance event.

What do you all think of the next Tournament? Hulk rewards? Black Hulk cover for alliance placement. After 10 days of Simulator... I'm burning out. Before alliances, I'd sneak in for 100 or 200 points and walk away if I wasn't terribly interested in the event/rewards. On the other hand, there's no other events going on... icon_e_confused.gif

    Teamviewer all the way!
    But lag is the worst.

This event was titanic. 10 days, 2weekends, madness. Im worn out.
  • I'm so dependant on Daken/Thor combo that I have a tough time in in Fearless Defenders, though I like this tournament. It reminds me of where I was last time, when I fielded a team of Thor/MBW/MStorm. I can actually field a 2* team this time around, lol.

I'm gonna push my way to 400+ in about half an hour and throw up my tank team.

Awkward end time for me and I don't think I want to throw up a 1 day shield for the shot at an extra hulk cover. I'm gonna aim for 600 points but realistically I'll probably finish this tourney around 500 points

Hello people. My apologies for not popping in on the thread sooner. I'm a bit jealous of that 8000 ISO at that 250K a few of you hit. I came in short icon_e_smile.gif. I'd still call myself a casual gamer in this though, its fun for me. That said, any tips on hitting higher points totals is appreciated (reading backwards now).

Anyway, I'll try to wander into the thread a little more and I appreciate the spot on the roster.
  • hi friends. how is it going. just to inform fearless defender 803 points. hope u have fun playing. greetings from sarajevo
  • And yet another cover being added?

Wwhen are they going to stop with the new covers? I understand that they want to keep making money. But at the same time, they can allow us a little time between adding covers to acquire some of the ones we already have and level up some of those as well.

Being yet another 3 star also. Making it that much harder to get more...

Good luck to all in the latest round of grind 'til your fingers hurt...

    P.S.

Sitting at 922 in the latest PVP tourney. Hopefully going to help stay competitive for all those needing / having room for a black hulk.

    Cheers.

I was going to chime in with Tonzil, but it's hard to concentrate with all this chaotic name-dropping.

    Question for the CareBearStare alliance...

Another member appears to have gone inactive: GeorgeSaviour. Which is too bad, cause he was one of the first fellows who contacted me and jumped into the alliance. I've tried to reach out to him, but I have not heard any response. Since there's no official way to see how you all are doing, I'm trying to keep track with looking at your roster updates (if you want a link to the not-so-secret roster spreadsheet, just PM me). Aside from not hearing from him, he hasn't picked up any of his alliance rewards since I started keeping track (i.e. No M. Thors, no Panthers, no Hoods, no 3-star Caps.) I know there's roster slot limitations and all, but we should be able to make space by now.

I'm not trying to be cutthroat and competitive, but there's a lot of interest in our casual (and friendly) alliance. We've removed inactives before - and I'm always careful to do it AFTER alliance rewards are handed out (p.s. I've been lurking on DeadpoolTaco's thread... and my goodness! The drama!), never BEFORE the end of a tournament.

    What do you all think???

I think that u r right. U should remove people who r inactive if u have contacted them before removing them and u have not recieved any answer. Nice from u for asking us for opinion
  • If it has been more than 5 working days and he has not responded back to you via P.M I say drop him. We are casual, but even a super casual gamer can respond within a few days or so. And he obviously knows how to use the forums. Additionally, if you are seeing absolutely no roster progress, and he has not claimed Alliance Rewards from the previous 3 events, this would lead me to agree with you that he has gone inactive. The polite thing to do would be if a member plans on going inactive for real life events (real life? What is that?) they should at least extend a comment on the boards that gives us a heads up. Just my two cents.
