I got tired of looking at my massive pile of tokens so I turned in all 107 of my standard tokens I had saved up (still hoarding heroics) to get some ISO.

I got 2 gold pulls, both GSBW which I don't need, and somewhere in the realm of 15k ISO. I did get 1 blue 2* Daken cover that I could make use of, so that was something I guess.

I like this Earth's Mightiest event. I'm using L.Thor, Hulk, and Fury (since he's buffed). It's fun to be able to play with Fury and have him be useful. I'm not sure I'll be able to hit 1300 in this one though to get that yellow Fury cover. Starting to see a lot of defensive losses around 700 and with everyone buffed to ridiculous health pools shield hopping seems like it could be a much bigger pain in the butt than usual.

I'm up to 360+ Standards, 66 Heroics, and 3 Heroic 10-packs. I'll be thrilled when they finally open up the token pool, but it's going to take me a full weekend to open and sell the things at this rate. I figured it was worth about 75k ISO, minus any covers I get out of it.

It's fun, but I was surprised my fully-leveled avenger is L.Thor... and I don't want to spend more leveling up characters for this mid-season novelty event (that's right! I said it! Novelty event!). I do need Mororo covers though... and a X-Force... and a Fury... so I don't know. At least nothing else is happening at the moment.

I am now in a similar situation as Punter, where I have one maxed 3* (Psylocke) and several others that are approaching a point at which it would be worth it to start raising them to their softcaps. What I am currently trying to figure out is which ones should I be working to their softcaps now?

Here are the ones that I have that are at the softcap, are getting close, or have enough covers that it may be worth it:
Psylocke: 166 (3/5/5) - Maxed
Black Panther: 140 (4/2/5) - softcapped
Patch: 114 (3/4/2) - softcapped
Doctor Doom: 102 (5/2) - softcapped
Captain America (Steve Rogers) (1/4/4) current level 78, would softcap at 117
Falcon (4/2/5) currently level 75, would softcap at 140
Sentry (3/5/2) currently level 53, would softcap at 126
She-Hulk (2/5/2) currently level 53, would softcap at 114
Captain Marvel (3/4/2) currently level 40, would softcap at 114
Lazy Thor (3/1/4) currently level 40, would softcap at 104


I don't have much ISO to my name currently, so will probably work on saving it up for a while and as soon as I can softcap another, I plan on it (or raising one of my other softcapped ones up if I stumble upon another cover). Any suggestions as to which ones I should work up first? Which would work best with my other heroes I already have leveled up?

You need more covers. Psylocke isn't bad, but she'll be difficult to build a team around that isn't a major target on defense. You have a few you could team-build around - Sentry, Black Panther, Lazy Thor - but they need covers. I'd focus on getting covers, and maybe work the lightning rounds for ISO.

Big thanks for taking former [Just] members in. I have lots of respect for this alliance and feel that it's a perfect place for team players.
This is very much appreciated and I will try to do my best at not hitting Bears in Versus!

Like Ben said, you need covers. One of the things I find most frustrating in this game is that a lot of the abilities really don't start feeling as powerful as they should until you have 5 covers for them. Even if you have the character decently leveled, a low covered ability can really drag them down. Obviously there's no easy solution outside of spending money for that, but LRs are a good start.

That said, Sentry and L.Thor are two that I see in your list that carry the most weight in PvP and I'd say focus on one of them first.

None really jump out as a definite "max this one next" answer so I'll just throw out this idea. Get L Thor up to his soft cap, just so you are ready to move him along as you get covers. Other than that, consider just leveling whichever character is featured in the PvP event at the time to build you base level for each, making it easier to get a solid score each event and bring in more covers,ISO, and HP. Do this until you have the covers to bring one of them up to a maxed level or you get another cover for Black Panther.

This is a key point - my collection of middling misfits
Lthor 98 - 4/1/4 can soft cap to 117 but the 1 yellow cover makes him less powerful than a more even cover spread
Patch 127 - 5/3/3 can soft cap to 140, but he needs more yellow to counteract the 5 green
Hood 94 - 3/2/4 soft 114 - needs more blue!

I'm still sneaking in ISO across the board, giving me lots of options in PVE and PVP. Too impatient to save up large chunks to dedicate to one character on their own. I also find you need to play with characters a while to understand how they play, only recently got BP and PunPun up to useable levels and so still working out if I enjoy them, even though they're supposed to be higher tier. My gradual ISO approach helps with that.

Fast fact - Our Deadpool vs MPQ rank 22 was identical to the rank 22 we had in the first run of that PVE.

Also want to shout out to shmau and Okin107 - a pair of newer Bears... you guys under-promised and over-delivered. It's been great - hope you guys can keep it up!

You should thank Stormneto that is buffed the last 2 PVEs
Thank god they are buffed again. It is my only combo for a fast and cheap finish. Although at PVP I am still stuck on the 500-600 wall. However, if I do not want a cover very bad I will save my HP for slots. I hate throwing away chars.

This alliance rocks! Love the "No stress but awesome ranks" thing.

Our friend, Anubisath has decided to take a break from the Stare. So we're only 10 hours left into this event and I put the "help wanted" sign out on the front window. I don't like to recruit under a time crunch and I trust the team will carry on to a cover victory, so let's not rush and get the right Bear in!

We were operating with only 18/20 at the end of Real Steel and still we managed to finish 48th! 2 bears down yet we still maintain our top 50 status. Well done all!!!

Great job everybody - with that last Hulk Character, the oldest 3* I don't have at full covers now is Captain Marvel at 12 covers, though CMags and Lazy Storm need some respecs. Now if they could only update the token mix, I'd be set (420+ Standards, 78 Heroics, 3 Heroic 10-packs).
