    Doom being fed 4 blue every round by his bots is just damn near impossible without boosts. Unless I get a really lucky board where I get enough blue to stunlock really quickly with Spidey, there's just no chance for me to get him before he drops down his 1.5-2K damage per round demons. That's just absurd.

    The Powered Up Heroes are the ones with the pink gem in the top right of their picture on the team selection screen inside the tournament. They differ from tourney to tourney, usually there will be one hero with a larger gem if there is that hero is powered up/boosted more than the others.

    token is normally related to the tournament it was won in. There go to rewards, Rules tab and see a full list of powered heroes.

    Lost a node for first time in long time, twice on that doom node this morning. Got throught it with Punisher, DD, and OBW and only after a favorable blue cascade loaded up Anti-Gravity.

    I hope people chill in my sub bracket... don't feel like grinding that one anymore than I have to.

    I won it with the same team, got better board with early purples and greens while Doom's blue activation only got one new match. The 2-cover DD is not really helping. icon_e_smile.gif

    Doom + bots hasn't given me any trouble. Using Punisher with OBW and/or Spidey, I've been able to stun or steal enough to keep Doom from doing anything. Now, Hood + Maggia -- that one's kicking my butt.

It would be weird if it did because in that case I wouldn't be #1-2 unless all other 999 players also followed this strategy. Before Colombia and Canada started, I was #1 with 70k, #2 1k behind and #3 4.5k behind.

    I also don't do full clears and this may be one of the reasons the levels are relatively low for me. Another reason may be that my highest level heroes are 85 Ares, 85 OBW, 85 Punisher and 70 Patch so it is a mid tier roster

    The new PVP offers panther. So I can take it easy for this @#$@! without significant loss.

    This is some new thing to have character intro with PVP+PVE at the same time.

    Those missions where you have Hood + Maggia or Doom + bots are quite nice if you can pair OBW with Spidey. You can definitely get screwed by bad luck with no blue tiles but, when it works out the Bots just become a battery for your stun.

    I'm not enough of a MPQ warrior to be able to handle this many events where there is stuff I would like to pick up, like some more Psylocke covers or trying to get some Black Panther stuff from the next Fresh Cut tournament. As it is, it's taking me like 3 hours + to clear out the amount of points I've been getting in both subs. Having just crossed the 100k mark I'm definitely looking at that 8k ISO reward as a good possibility now it's just the amount of time this has taken is starting to take it's toll. Once this event is over I'm going to have to take a break from the hardcore PvE and get more involved in some PvP/relax on the puzzle questing for a bit.

    I'm not him, but I usually start both brackets and lazily do 3 runs on villain missions, 4-5 runs on goon missions on every node, about 5 hours before they end. Every time I do this, I end up back in first with 30 minutes left on the clock in my bracket, and currently sitting at 87782 points (number 7 now, but consider I had the same points at the end of last night's round).

    Since these mission are pretty challenging I don't think there's any significant extra rubberbanding going on, as in you don't have say the sub bracket leader hit 10K points in one clear, then someone pass him up with 10.5K from the same clear, then someone pass that guy up with 11K and so on. I'm pretty sure whoever is the overall sub bracket leader simply retains that position the whole time unless there are a lot of determined players out there. This means you don't have to worry about falling so far behind that even getting 10X points each mission and still unable to catch up, so doing just once is fine. Besides, if you only join at the very end, you'd be competing against other guys who only done one refresh too. While you should still lose someone doing 2 or 3 refreshes, you'd never be facing them in the first place.

    I think the level scaling is working pretty well. The missions that are hard are dropping in levels, and if Spiderman isn't around, they'd probably get adjusted even quicker. Some of the mission are clearly challenging enough that not even Spiderman can artifically keep their levels at 230, and that's a good thing for everyone.

    It looks like you're saying you've dropped a bit since this sub started, and my performance in the main has been going the other way... before this sub, I was around #35 with 70k, now I'm around #20 with 85k

    edit: also, for at least the past 5 days, I've only seen one or two nodes hit 230, i don't know if they've been listening to our whining and toned down scaling or if something else is going on

    Lucky. I got super busy this morning so I had to leave most of a clear on the table (thousands of points I easily could have gotten). I'm at about 96K right now, with my refresh tonight. I'll try and grind more this weekend so see if I can get to 125K.

    With ostensibly 5 refreshes left to go, you should be good. You only need to average 6K per clear to get there, which should be totally doable.

    All depends when you enter and if you are lucky. If you enter at the tail end of a bracket filling up, you will probably find yourself 1000's of points behind and no way of getting a good prize. If you enter at the beginning of a new bracket, you will have as good a shot as anyone.

    Sitting at 85k, probably not going to make it to 125k but all I really care about is getting that last red Punisher cover I need to finish mine off. Feeling pretty confident that'll be in reach.

    One positive thing with the changes to rubber banding, at least for me is that I can still perform well in all the sub events. Before in the Hulk event it was hit or miss, since doing well in the main bracket meant your sub bracket could suffer.

    Does anyone know how many missions are in Colombia? Does the mission Hood - Maggia open another mission? If not, will probably avoid it. Those Strike tiles from the Muscle are silly.
    I need a Maggia team to compete to the next pve. icon_e_smile.gif

    Still pretty irritated that D3 keeps sending me generic heroic tokens as rewards rather than the "assault team" ones.

    Been four days since I submitted my ticket and an additional two wrong tokens.

    They will be essentially worthless by the end of the weekend.

    Quite annoying.
