Need to get 30,000 points in the last two subs. I think that will be doable, but a bit touch and go.

Canada, 5240 for first clear, but there is the one time non repeatable node, can't recall how much that was worth.

Starting to think I may not be able to reach the Legendary token after all this time around. One clear left of Columbia, then two more subs, and I am just over halfway with 47000 points... May need to kick up the grind a bit, I suppose.

I was having the same thought.

Columbia VI is just annihilating my roster. On my third attempted clear, I've burned 15 health packs without even getting Hood below 2,500 health. I've never even been able to get more than 5 AP in any color. It's craziness, considering that they have three one-shot powers.

Oh well, I guess I might miss out on this one...
I have quite successfully used winfinite combos on hard nodes here. Mostly Mystique/Mohawk/GSBW. They are slow to start and can fail but are a better shot than brute force teams especially in nasty nodes like hood with feeders or enormous jug/ares for example.

Thanks, Luke. For what it's worth, the non-repeatable is 788 pts.

Got my legendary from ISO Brotherhood and got a.... Star Lord. Sigh.
  • I always get scared looking at the top scores on PVE events.

I'm getting my three clears per sub in, and trying to do some grinding at the end of the sub when I can, but I don't get super far on it, and I'm around 70K

Top score in my bracket right nowis at nearly 113K

I mean, I don't grind my nodes down to zero, but tht sort of grind can add up to over 40K more points?

    Jeez, mang. That's strong.

Yes. Yes it can. When I go for top 10 I try to grind as many nodes as possible to dust and it does show on the score. You really need to stay motivated to grind nodes worth only double-digit points though.

I think this is going to be my first PVE legendary token that I miss, currently sitting on 68K after a full clear and the essential nodes again with 18 hours to go...

Anyone know what a full clear is worth on the final day of the event?

5720 is what I think I had after I cleared it this morning before work. The non repeatable node was worth 780ish from what I remembered, so you're looking at around 4940 every clear afterwards.

Excellent. I need 14000 points, so three clears should be enough.

Thanks, Tatercat! I'm sitting at about 24K and change away from the Legendary. I think it's doable, but I'm kicking myself for not playing a little more in the early stages.

The three essentials are 680 each, the three easier nodes are 200, 320 & 440, respectively and the three harder ones are 500, 620 & 740, respectively. That gives 4,860 repeatable points. I haven't unlocked the last, non-repeatable one, yet, but I suspect it's in the ~850pt range.

i really wanted to hit the panic button earlier in the week, but held on knowing point values would increase at the end.

but the last sub is about to start, and i only have a little more than 64,000. i just don't see getting 18,000 more in the last sub though.

which is weird, because i've played every day (probably averaged 2.5 clears per day), i have the essentials, and even cleared the main node at least three times a day.

I've played similarly, and earned the legendary tokens in recent PVEs. not sure why i'm coming up so short this time around.

it's like i blacked out and don't remember completely missing an entire day (or two). what gives

Is there a more annoying team than Hood, Jugs & Venom on Saudi Arabia VI. Mine are at lvl. 147. All of my usual tricks and teams to clear tough nodes have failed. All my 3* are well covered but currently at 104 and I didn't really want to push that at the moment. Any tips would be greatly welcomed. Cheers.

Blade - IF - LC/other stunner or Daken.

Mine are 247, and yes, I usually need a HP after the node.

I tried the node with my usual team for the event of Mohawk Storm, Steve Rogers, and Scarlet Witch. It was miserable; I only barely defeated it and needed 3 health packs afterwards.

I might try Bowgentle's team on the next pass. I often use Iron Fist to quickly kill The Hood with his attack tile. Mine are level 242 though, and at that level it takes too long on its own. I think the idea with Blade and Daken is to create free strike tiles to boost the damage. I don't really like leaving redflag.png on the board for Juggernaut which prevents Blade generating his strike tiles. I'm also concerned that Daken is too squishy and doesn't bring enough, though your scaling may make it better. I'd definitely bring a stunner, though I think Steve Rogers might be better than Luke Cage to give you both an active redflag.png and an active blueflag.png.

Yeah, I meant LazyCap, not Luke Cage, for the red/blue coverage.

4or would be even better, but I don't expect someone with "mostly covered" 3*s to have a maxed 4* lying around.

Got about 20K in the last sub, half of which came through early grinding for a couple hours! And all that for a blue IW!

Hahaha, indeed you're correct, my 4or only has 3 covers so far.

Thank you for all the tips, I did it just after I posted with the old StormNeto Hawkeye combo and a couple of blue/purple stockpiles and a power boost. It's a real stinker of a node that's for sure. The penultimate one always seems to be much worse than the final one on this story.
