    New game modes.

You can throw a new story on the PvE pig (Grocket), or even a new mechanic (Ultron), but the pig is still a pig.

Any kind of puzzle mode would be greatly appreciated, from "get 15 red before your opponent" to "StarLord's countdown is about to kill you, you must win this turn."

I'm looking forward to the anniversary PvE, but it smells like pork right now.

^^^ excellent ideas in my opinion
  • Live Versus matches would be pretty fun. You'd have to add something like "Disable ability to target specific enemy" or so in order for it to work, but it would be pretty fun. You'd have a tough time finding good balanced matchmaking, though.

I think that'll be in the console version, though.

I think what would improve MPQ the most is if I get a Silver Surfer.

I want Groot's Yellow to glow when he hits 25% health just like anyone else's ability that is ready to fire off.
  • To be honest, I am kinda tired of the super-generic music in everything.

I'd love a few different tracks for different situations.

Heck, even something like a Boss Battle sort of music when you're on the last, unrepeatable node of a PVE node, or if you're fighting a team of 3 270s or something big like that would be rad.

Even the original, super-bootleg-looking Puzzle Quest changed to OHHH SHIIII music when your health got low. I second this.

ok, I'd actually turn the sound up if it were based on scores from the franchise movies. if you have thor, wolvie, and spidey, it should have scores from their movies in the playlist during the game. that would be sweet. assemble an all-avenger team and you get the avengers theme. too much royalty and copyright there but that would be sweet. kk and jean should have some annoying teenybopper track. fist a meditative eastern track. I'm no marvel comic guru, but going with that general concept would get me to turn the sound up sometimes for sure.

My third best idea would be bell curve roster slot amounts. The price per slot starts low. It then gets progressively higher to reach a certain milestone. For example, we'll say 100. After that the prices start to slowly get lower. Maybe call it a loyalty feature. A way of rewarding players that continue to play the game after that point. After 200 slots, all future ones would be free.

My best idea, I agree with previous poster about 4* placement rewards in pvp (plus tired of saying this one over the last several months.

My second best would be a pve where you only have one grind per event. So far over last month or longer, I've been entirely too lazy to post an explanation of that idea. (Plus, I don't do much pve currently.)

In-game calculation would be welcome. I often minimize the game to open Calculator to multiply the Hulk's life by 0.4 so I know when to execute him.

Strike and Protect tile displays would also be nice.

You know what'd make each character announcement way more hype?

Each character having their own theme song.

That was like one of the best parts of Marvel Vs Capcom 3.

Just character theme songs that played when you examined a characters stats or when you start a match against them with them in the center position or whatnot.

    That'd be so siiiiiiiick.
  • For me, I think it would end a lot of pvp griping if the nake of the player queued was removed and replaced with their score at time of queuing.

Sure I can guesstimate based on the value of their battle, but knowing would allow sportsmanlike conduct to enter into the game without the need for being in a LINE team or super alliance.
  • Things to make the game better IMHO
-New PVE events and story modes. How about introduce some new non-playables to shake up PVE.

-Remove about 25 star.pngstar.png out of the DDQ Vault and reduce those in event tokens down to maybe the essential required 2 star and maybe a couple of others. I have a 94 Moonstone (yeah, keep laughing) and I don't need 6 more covers for her. Plenty of two stars in Heroics.

-Reduce costs of spots (I'm only paying 700 per slot, and I see y'all at a 1000 per and not looking forward to it.)

-Make PVP more of Live Action. PVP now is basically PVE using another players roster.

-Make an event (PVE?) kind of like Ultron, where the opposing character or team starts out weak (For 1 star players) and works it's way up to a crazy scaled character for a legendary token (For the 1% Surfers.) Beating the easy character could earn you 20 ISO, Standard token, or * or ** star character. As you progress ISO goes up, tokens go from standard to heroic, and *** characters are given as rewards. Finally, you could compete for a legendary, 10,000 ISO, and/or a **** character.

    -Better Game music

-How about something that'd reward strategy? Could have a bracket style event where the group in the bracket would have to be at a certain level (Group 1 Level 50, Group 2 Level 94, Group 3 Level 166, Group 4 Level 270.) Maybe have the bracket go from 16 or 64 down to a final four to a final matchup. Winning stages in the tournament would yield rewards and those rewards would increase as you advanced. Maybe have the overall winner of each bracket receive a legendary token. How would this involve strategy? Well, baring a bad board you could set the levels for each team and de-activate team ups and boosts and have it player vs. player on equal footing with characters of your choice.

TL;DR Basically stuff that are only dreams and aren't reality.

You know this won't ever happen, right? Too much data would have to transfer back and forth for this to work because all of the moves/cascades have to be determined on the server and communicated to both clients. Anyone who doesn't have a flat rate on their data is going to see their bill go through the roof.

Also what happens when data drops out? or when a player disconnects on purpose? or when a player won't make a move?

These are all issues which still plague online console play so I don't think that live mobile play is a good idea

When I was playing Hearthstone on my first-gen iPad Mini, I lost more than one match because the graphics were so intensive and slow on the **** old processor that my turn timed out before I could catch up with the animations. So yeah, there's definitely issues that would need to be worked out. This is actually easier with consoles, where everyone has one of a a very constrained set of hardware builds, than it is for mobile where you have people playing on cutting-edge premium phones against others with hand-me down bargain phones from four years ago.

Well. It won't happen in this version.

    But in the Console version....

So the console version won't tie into multiplayer? are they sandboxed from the rest of the MpQ playerbase?

    What about alliances?
Totally different. There's multiplayer as in "I can go select Ranked Match" and play some random person online. There is no multiplayer as in it ties in with the mobile/PC universe. There's also couch play multiplayer, so you can sit next to a friend and stun lock them with Spidey for an hour until they pummel you in real life.

Which is a different setup and game but still pretty hype.

I like several of the things I've read. Obviously players have spent a lot of time and energy on coming up with solutions.

Myself, one thing that drives me crazy is seeing the same few characters in EVERY match. You can skip through 25 matches and see the same 7 characters in al of them. I realize that Thor, Loki, Patch, Daken, and a few others are dominant characters. But it gets so old fighting them over and over. I would love to see pvp events where only certain characters are available. I would probably die of shock to see Doc Ock, Quick, Vision, and some of the other shunned 3*s in ANY pvp event. It would also force us to learn how to play with/against all covers.

YES!!!! I frequently have a calculator handy for this purpose. Having RnG glow when below HP would be nice, or having Punisher's Red Pulse really fast or something (since it already glows when ready).

However, I can see how this may be a little of an exploit to use. It is up to us, the player, to calculate when the most beneficial timing of firing an ability should be used. After all, it is what separates us from the AI. icon_e_smile.gif
