What do you think will improve MPQ the most?

This thread is one designed to get conversation stimulated on what kind of things either would improve the game if implemented or have made it worse when it's been implemented. I'll get started...
I can't help thinking that healing powers (when not true heal) are almost completely useless. In particular Spider-Man 3* has been rendered nearly entirely useless due to this change. I think if true healing for most of the roster has been removed then they should be given a new power instead. I avoid using any character or power who's function is temp heal. Whats the point? yep it might get you through one match but you know what would also do that but also be better? another power which might avoid you taking damage in the first place. either a defense option or a big damage option to down the opponent faster.
Just my personal opinion but I think temp healing should be removed altogether, either have characters true heal or give them a useful ability instead of rendering one of their covers useless.

I can't help but think I'd rather get 20 iso in PvE instead of another 3XCrit boost tokens. It is the only boost which stays permanently pegged to 30 so when I "win" another for a node it essentially means I win nothing. I would really like to see a rotation of boosts in that slot in PvE not just crits.0

Seconded ^^^ I don't even use boosts so all my boosts are sat at 30. They are completely useless to me, I'd rather have the ISO or at least be able to sell boosts like covers.0 -

This is one of those features that's meant to hinder us, not help us... kinda like all the tweaks to the Dark Avengers characters... we don't use them, but when super-buffed in PvE, they make your life miserable.0 -
yes, moonstone is much more PITA now - have to be careful with special tile guys with her. rags changes were meh, but now he chains powers together much less.0

He shines in multi-wave nodes. He has cheap protect tiles, cheap stuns, and his heals do come in handy when you've got 3-5 waves to take down.0 -
I dunno, I find temp heal useful when I go into a match with my characters at less than full health. Get a quick faux heal off and get some gravy HP to absorb that match's damage. Also handy when you get hit with a nasty AOE - I've brought a match back from the brink with Kamala's heal a few times. Still have to eat health packs, but it's better than losing.
That said, yeah, I don't get a temp heal cover and jump for joy. I'd be in favor of making all heals true heals and significantly reducing their effectiveness (30%? 40%? Some theorycrafter can do that), but I doubt that would ever happen.0 -

In the beast PVP.. i have used his heal multiple times now, and every time it has been to save me, and every time i win because of it.
Yes, i would prefer a true heal, but honestly, Beast and OBW are useful as heck.
Now to the OP:
I would like points won added, prior to points lost. So if i am at 989, and i break shield, win a 40 point match, it shows progress to 1029, rewards cover, then show loss screen, and THEN takes away the points.0 -

I would love this and have suggested it in the past, but I'm not sure if it could be abused. If I break shield and open a match at 999 and just let my tablet sit there for an hour, does everyone who hits me get points as if I still have 999 since the losses haven't "resolved" yet? If I never finish that match before the event ends does my score change at all?
I assume there's a way to have the server keep track of what your score was when you went into the match and still live update the losses while your match is ongoing, but I don't know how much effort it would require.
Mine: give all node rewards before going to 20 iso (20 iso is item #2). No more randomness, I never understood the point of that. Why should it take 20 tries to get 4 **** "rewards" that will have no discernable effect on the economy of the game?0 -

If you broke shield and sat there for an hour... you probably died, or something horrible happened IRL, and the points would not matter to you anyway..
But, yes.. to avoid exploiting it... put a 5 minute timer on it or end of current fight, from when you break, to when losses count. You can still be beaten 20 times, but your win counts first.0 -

As I understand it, they nerfed healing to change a few powers to health burst instead of healing, so I can't see them going back to that. What I'd like to see is have healing changed so that, if you heal during the match using one of those abilities, you can come out of the fight no worse than when you entered.
For instance, my big enchilada team has Kamala in it. Yesterday, she was nearly taken out in the first round (verdammt ninjas), but I ended the final wave at full health. I think I shouldn't need healing them. But if they'd come out with less, having them be at the point they ended the match (or, if they entered with less than full health, at the lower of the start and end points of health) would work well.
The point of the nerf, as I understand it, was to keep people from playing prologue missions just to heal people (which, incidentally, I do moderately regularly now, with Deadpool, and I'm sure I'd do with Patch, as well, if I had enough covers for him to make that viable). This solution would still keep people from doing that, without making it quite so frustrating.0 -
Based on the number of complaint threads about "queued a guy for 54, then won and got 3 points," I think it'd be helpful to just add a timer that shows how long it's been since you queued somebody. It wouldn't solve the problem, but at least if you can see that you queued someone 4 hours earlier, you go in knowing that the point value might be way off.0

have a dynamic indicator of just how much damage will be done prior to firing an ability. this indicator should inform you of:
1. additive damage (e.g. Ares Green: X damage for each green AP your team has, or XFW Black: X Damage for each of the opposing team's strongest tile).
2. multiplicative or subtractive damage (e.g. extra damage provided by any strike tiles that may be on the board, or less damage due to shields)
3. reactive damage (i.e. if you hit Storm, she will in turn damage you for Y hp)
I think this would be very hard to do given the many diverse abilities and characters in the game, but man i'm tired of trying to figure out whether or not A Little Off the Top will do more damage than Polarizing Force0 -
Frankly, what I think the game needs is more mission content. I can't begin to tell you how tired I am of fighting the Dark Avengers all the time.0

New game modes.
You can throw a new story on the PvE pig (Grocket), or even a new mechanic (Ultron), but the pig is still a pig.
Any kind of puzzle mode would be greatly appreciated, from "get 15 red before your opponent" to "StarLord's countdown is about to kill you, you must win this turn."
I'm looking forward to the anniversary PvE, but it smells like pork right now.0
