4* removed from standard tokens?

unless heroics are going to move towards a much higher *** pull rate, I think they skipped a needed *** token. I would not want the 800 progression going off of a set cover, just like I'd actually prefer the 1300 to be a set cover and not a random token, given the hp it will take me to get there. I'd really prefer that I know that it is worth it, rather than the token pull a starlord or an Elektra.

A 3* token existed in the past, but only as a reward for certain special events, such as the elite tournaments with a small HP entry fee. I'm really not sure why it never made it into wider availability, especially with the diluted 3* pool.

A friend of mine hit a 4* on his first day of play from a standard token

He then started again because he wasn't happy with his decision (wasting HP) and pulled it again within 5 tokens.

Any chance there might be an increased chance of hitting a 4* within your first so many pulls?

Or how about you just move 2*'s to the Standard pack altogether with increased odds. 2*'s are basically common now anyway. 3*'s are much easier to get. 4 and 5* is where it's at.

it has been a long time and my memory isn't the best but I think I pulled a 4thor very early (first few days) from a std. she was great when I didn't even have the 1*s covered yet (and it was before I started pve, so no idea how she affected scaling). she sat 1/-/- forever and 285 days later, she's at 3/1/-, so awesome... blegh.

Alliance mate pulled carnage from standard just a few days ago. I really do believe that lower level rosters get better standard pulls.

I pulled elektra about 2 weeks ago from a standard I'm pretty sure. Chance it was heroic, but 95% sure it was standard.

I've absolutely had 4* pulls from standard tokens.

Can't remember the last one, but eh. Likely not that long ago...within the last couple of months? Might have been an Elektra.

How would I do it now.... Um.....

Maybe:

Common (bronze) - 1*, 2* (increased slightly) with a sometimes 3*. A much better current Standard.
Uncommon (silver) - Focused around the 3* but with some amounts of 2* (maybe?) and 4*. A slightly better current Heroic.
Rare (gold) - Focused around the 4*s with the addition of 5* and (maybe) 3*. Similar in style to the current Heroic but just everything up a *.

Just off the top of my head but still cleaner.

We didn't change any odds, just presentation. It doesn't state *, **, ***, **** for the inevitable occasion that a pull does *not* contain a 4*. Leading players on that the Standard tokens *may* doesn't really help anyone.

Um, what? It's not good to let players think they might be able to get something that they can, in fact, get?

Correct. The odds of it happening are so low though, that the devs didn't want to get your hopes up by putting it on the description.

Would it ever be possible to get the "Info ?" description that all other tokens get? Be nice to see the actual odds on 1 v 2 v 3 v 4 pulls.

Yes there were because I got a blue Nick Fury token just two or three weeks ago from it and early on in my MPQ days got an X-Force Wolverine from one.

As the other tokens give odds rounded to the nearest tenth of a percent, it might be confusing to have either a 0.0% chance for all 4*s (which makes it look like they're totally impossible to get and would fill up the top of the chart with useless information), or a 0.1% chance (which probably vastly overstates the chances of getting one).

If they just broke down the odds by star level, the sheer number of 3*s might make it look to new players like it's a decent way to spend ISO to build your roster, when it's really not. I'd love to see a post detailing the odds, but I understand why the information isn't in the game.
