    You were wrecking fools with that team. Not sure why you stopped at 800 and shielded, you probably could have gone way higher. Killing 40k+ hp in 6 turns is disgusting.

    funny thing about that is I wasn't sure if I could find points so I did a second match before shielding. I get so scared after the 800 pt mark I tend to shield.

    Immediately after I shielded I got a 70 point match icon_lol.gif

    Used (pre buff) BP 166(5/4/4,ugh), KK 166(4/5/4) and Vision 122 (5/4/4) and hit 1K without even being attacked...then I shielded and got attacked...probably a retaliation for beating a Vision/HB/IF team but I had no choice.

    I do have IF, but using BP, KK and Vision you get THREE AOE, plus yellow strike tiles and Vision's blue ability works nicely for 1K a match 3.

    server casualty I bet. not sure what they could do about it - seems like they could suspend the event mid-stream, give everyone some time to regroup and start it up again. having everything just continue knowing they have server issues just seems mickey mouse.

    Quite possible. He was around 1700 at best, then dropped 500 points or so... Can't have been fun.
    Meanwhile, I got hit mid-hop, so I guess I have to give up my hope for a yellow Thor. I should be able to get her in the next pass though...

    Damn. Based on some comments here I was going to give Vision, Iron Fist and Carnage a spin at lunch. To find that my slice closed at noon local time. Ah well, top 100 without really trying.

    Bracket opens, next 500 people that join are in the same bracket.
    New bracket opens, repeat.

    Hence you get people posting bracket info and checking.
    There is a newbie bracket but once you progress out of that it's into the standard Vet world.

    Wolveroach just managed to break 800 for (I think) the first time. 2/1/1 Vision, level 135 3/3/5 Iron Fist, and level 130 4/5/4 Falcon.

    Strange how well Vision and Iron Fist seem to work. Falcon's Inspiration didn't hurt. And the opponent's Vision firing off yellow and blue instead of saving them for the much nastier attacks of the rest of the team didn't hurt either. Not the best character for defence, I suspect.

    :edit: I shielded at #18 on 827 with just over 7 hours to go, while typing this I was attacked twice and would have lost 114 points. Definitely not the best for defence.

    Vision/Carnage/MNMags

    Mags Purple feeds Blue and Red to Vision.

    Team has no active black power, but a lot of my roster is undercovered and underleveled. 2/3/1 Iron Fist is not ready for this event without a boost.

    (edit: and don't forget heavy density adds to every match created by Mags' Purple because Vision is tanking red and blue.)

    Yeah, I made the mistake of trying for two matches in a late hop and got effing murdered. Came out of the second match with 5 hits for 70 points each, with more that it couldn't show. I'm still rocking a fully 3* roster, so without those top level scarecrows, it was like throwing a steak into a cage full of angry bears.

    I flew too close to the sun, Quebb. I got greedy and I got burned.

    My darkest 15 minutes were when there was about 26 hours left of the event. During me fumbling around with shields and matches X-Force_Leong (-62, +12) and purdyprince (-106) hit me total of 6 times. There were also 3 others, for a total of -123, which I'm fine with. Ended up at 1005 points and got one defensive victory for 8 points, at 16th position. Used about 850 hero points total, not to mention iso for boosts...
