They were all final placement loaded.

Red ISO - IM40 (New character)
    Juggernaut Heroic - GSBW
    Venom Heroic - IM40
Red ISO - IW (New character)
The Hunt - Punisher (New character)
The Hulk - Hulk (New character)
The Hunt - Ares (New character)

I don't remember all of the progression rewards. I know the first Red ISO had Spidey, which was big for me.
  • Juggernaut had Grey Widow as the prizes and first place received an additional 1000 HP.

The roster was real limited and IM40 had the buff. Everyone abused the hell out of C Storms yellow to rack up points on the mission where they gave you a level 6 Modern Hawkeye as the default.

There was some rubber banding in that event. Not a lot, as those who grinded the most still won.

We do know that an Xman is in the works. My money is on Jean Grey.

I'd lay money on Emma Frost over Jean Grey. Mostly because she wasn't a big player in Dark Reign.

I think Emma comes WAY before Jean. If jean ever does come i hope it's Phhoenix and she has a passive power where if theres more than 6 red/yellow ap on the board she heals for 1/4 her health and mind **** the sh*t out of people. Emma would be impenetrable (diamond) and can mind rap3 people too. They need to fix alot things before introducing a new/old event.

Ok guys, i was saying Jena Grey because that could lead into a Dark Phoenix Story. I didn't know Emma Frost was part of this storyline. They said an Xman was in the works, and I guess she fits the bill, but she is also brotherhood right? In any case, The whole character choice is iffy. Ares? 1 Member of the FF? I'm pretty much done with the Dark Rein storyline, i think we need to move on to different pastures. I wonder if there is a contract limitation?

Nemek, I see you in top 10 all the time. But you dissapeared in the top of the LR. Did you get attacked out of a top spot or did you recover?

Finally, i am already having event withdrawals. I want more PVE content, just getting crushed in unbracketed tournaments is not enough fun, and the strongest players end up systematically dominating.

I suggested Galactus or Infinity Gauntlet/Thanos storyline before. How about World War Hulk? We need a Mr. Fantasic, Namor and Black Panther...Instead we will get Ant Man.

I don't play past the first 20-25 minutes of the LRs. So I'll be top 10 for the first 25 minutes, but then stop.

I figured that was coming since Ice said the last Elite event laid foundations for a new event.

Nope, it was just half the tech used. The other half of the tech went into the one that we'll push out soon. This weekend we wanted to see how an Elite event would function in a vacuum when there wasn't a bunch of other stuff occluding it so we can get a good measuring stick.

Well that dashes any hopes of a PVE event. Since there has not been a playable one in 3 weeks now this is getting depressing.

From pay to win to pay to play, that's cute.

Let me know how it works out.

Im completely with you in that boat. Its really ironic the last PVE event allowed my GF to get a DD when i havent been able to get one due to the borked PVE.
Well correction i might have been able to get one from the TAT event but frankly no boosts on 230's was NOT my idea of fun and wanted nothing to do with it.
dropped from a top 10 to obtain a Captain that i had no use for.

I like using my beleaguered customers as guinea-pigs, too, especially immediately after they've endured two weeks of sub-par service and are getting antsy. Funny thing is, quite a few of them bugger off and don't come back, and I can't for the life of me imagine why.

Is there an emoticon for "while the underlying exasperation is sincere, this comment is an attempt to be humorous, not rude, and I apologize if it comes off otherwise"? There should be.

I can definitely understand that sentiment, and agree on the emoticon thing. The internet is a horrible place for getting emotion across. We didn't roll out the other event because both work decently well and we can get some good metrics over the weekend from this one. In the meantime, we can tighten some of the screws on the other to make sure it works better than it does now (which appears to be fine, but more polish is a good thing).

The thing is a lot of us need a break from PVP events since that is all we could do for a very long time now. I guess not playing the game at all is all you are going to leave us...

Is there any news on whether or not there are plans for more persistent PvE content, so that the playerbase has something to do PvE wise in times like this where there are only PvP tournaments running?

Yeah because having a PvE event rolled out with potentially still broken scaling is a far better option that you guys would never complain about compared to a relatively simpler PvP event.

It's a no win situation for them. If they release a partially broken event people will complain. If they don't release any event people will complain. That's the way of the world these days and the mass of complainers are ruining it for everyone.

Roll out one of the old ones that did not have scaling at all...
