    Thanks.

    Truth to be told, I can't understand those slices. Yesterday was the first time I heard about slices anyway. I've seen the clock in the events thyread but I have no idea how to read it.

    Its normal thing for good rosters to climb to 1K and over it without shielding.

    Generally it depends from roster. If You have full maxed covers for PVP You will be more rare attacked than people that have weaker teams.

    Doctors Order I put first shield on 1017 points. Normally when I have good team I do it 1-1,2K.

    I know people that in some pvp started shielding over 1,5K because people feared to attack them.

    And last thing - not only covers are deciding about it. There are few hours on day where people are less active and climbing is easier.

    Firstly, my team mates do the 1k+ on first shield on every single event. Having a decent 4* like HB does most of the work on both fast matches and a scarecrow for the people on 3* land and below.

    But as my own experience, I maybe could on some events when the featured is good and I have two 240s that also work well, but you might get too confident above 900s and then boom, - 200. So it's better to try hitting 900s then shield than sorry. Using a couple shields pays itself on rewards (both progression and placement), and even if you have a negative net it will be less than 100hp, which is more than worth a shot for a 4*.

    I'm sitting at my new personal best of 902 shielded right now, and i have some huge targets queued up of 70 + points but its all 240 hood and 350 hulk busters...not sure if i should try with boosts and pray for a good board or just skip em

    At some point, your always going to have to fight the max level teams. Your best hope is that the max level teams are gunning for 2K and that the rising tide has created enough points for you to make your goals with your roster.

    Believe it or not, the most contested shards are actually the easiest to make 1K. While they are competing for 2K, they've created enough points for lower level players to reach 1K.

    My advice for you is 2 hops with lower level match targets. In poolparty, it should be very easy to find 4 matches around 30pts with all loaner DP4*, and some combination of less that max level thor/hood/blade/etc...

    If you were in a weak shard, those max level rosters would all be congregating at 1100 and the avg difficulty at 900 would be much much higher.

    What's your best line up? Loaner Deadpool, fully covered Hood and 3Thor can win those fights, since both are boosted. They don't have to be maxed, but close. Rainbow AP and damage boosts if you have them, and a stun teamup (either MBW or Wind Storm, Reality Crush as a less good alternate)

    If you decided to hop, take one fight at a time.

    Hey, you have an optimally covered HB and a great fist, why not go Fistbuster? Honestly your roster looks great. 902 was a new best???

    My HB is also level 190...but short 2 red covers. Big ole red battery. Still, I ran him some this PvP feeding red to LThor. Worked OK. If my 553 LThor were leveled, it would have been even better!

    Well I just decided to buy 2 covers for HB mid season since I had him at 443 all from token pulls and actually spent the 600k ISO i had stockpiled up leveling some people to 166. Prior to that I would just settle for 600 - 750 and just get enough to hit the 4k 10 pack.

    What's the synergy of Fistbuster that makes that team so good?

    After getting my Red x-pool cover from hitting 1k, decided to buy the 100 HP token and got another red so now he's fully covered at 535 icon_lol.gif

    I hit 1k without shielding in Nefarious Foes using:

    It also took 100 HP to buy boosts and being lucky enough to grab good Qs from people that were already hopping and waiting for them to # so as to get maximum points from them.

    Oh and one member of the X-Men who let me double him unshielded just so I could break 1k.
