Hi all,

There is currently a bug with Scarlet's Witch's Hex Bolt. The ability is generating double AP from tiles she destroys. This is unintended and a fix is incoming. A small patch is planned to go out around the end of day (EST) today.

*UPDATE (07/16/2015):
Storm (Classic)'s power, Lightning Storm was exhibiting this issue as well for levels 1 through 4. This ability has been corrected and a fix will be included in today's patch. Level 5 of Lightning Storm will continue to function as normal.

    How exactly was this a bug? In what world does an ability that trades 8 AP to get back 4 or 5 make any sense? Why can't we say the description is wrong and the game code is right?
  • While you're in there, could you guys go ahead and fix SW's blueflag.png so it doesn't bury itself in the corner virtually every single time?

    Please fix her purple as well... It is very stupid to stun a target that gets downed right after using her purple. I'd rather the 5 turn stun be on a target that matters?

    Edit: Fixed 5 second stun to 5 turn.

    During her release, you mentioned that her purple was an upgraded version of 2* Storm's blue, but most of the time, her purple is worse than Storm's blue, since you can target who to stun with Storm. 0 turn stun vs 3 turn stun, not hard to choose.

    While you are fixing this, can you also fix it so it can actually destroy charged tiles created by your own team at level 5? The description says it should be able to destroy any non-friendly tile. Last time I checked, charged tiles were neutral.

    Then can i get the purple i sold from yesterdays ddq back. I would have used it if i knew green was not working as intended.

    Choose your fix:

    1) Reduce AP cost to 6

    2) Does 2k damage and at 4+ covers you can target any tile

    3) Change wording to destroys target + 3/4 random tiles, then generate 2 AP of that color (no longer works with charged tiles). Would now generate 8/10 random AP for 8 green.

    Sooo will there be an HP sell back for this? Her green was fairly useless before the "fix"

    Semi-targeting + cascade possibility -> about a 4/5 chance to destroy a targeted tile at max covers. It's cheaper than Cap, but I think it's expensive relative to other skills. Her Blue passive more than makes up for it though. Double AP for Hex Bolt makes her too good of a character, arguably, especially with charged tile generators.

    Arbitrary timing wins again. Players have discussed this bug for months. Suddenly, it is urgent to fix.

    If Y'all want to fix 4or yellow or slightly bump xforce green damage, now would be a completely arbitrary time that would catch everyone off guard.

    P.S. it did not go unnoticed this change occurred directly after sw purple was reward in dpdq. So, now that players made decisions on her spec based on the info available at the time....

    We played with 2/3 powers and consider him strong. He's not an uber character but far from bad.

    It randomly selects from surrounding tiles, if you target something in the middle of the board its usually surrounded by 8 tiles making it a 50% chance. You can modify your odds by firing near your own tiles (which can't be destroyed) or on an edge but you should consider worst case scenarios.

    Hex Bolt currently does not work with your own charged tile generators, 5 covers will never destroy them. Even if there is a charged tile 1 away from a corner and you fire off in the corner, you will only get the 2 other non-charged tiles. With 5 covers it has the possibility of netting AP from enemy charged tiles but unless you're fighting 4hor (who isn't that common anymore) or bagnarok, that scenario will almost never show up. Using SW + 4hor in PvE could've been fun but that functionality never worked.

    Pretty much everyone says his yellow should be cheaper. No one is saying it's fine because his red and blue are so good in PvE.
