    as far as I can tell, most recent info:

    slice 1 - haven't heard from slice one in days (since Saturday) - any info out there would be appreciated
    slice 2 - 800 @ 1.5 hours ago - looks promising except that it only added 6 in the 7 hours between the last 2 reports
    slice 3 - 663 @ 10 hours ago
    slice 4 - 746 @ 6 hours ago
    slice 5 - 710 @ 3 hours ago

    mostly looks not good, but there is time left (1.5 days to 2.5 days left from now). really need some recent slice 1 info. would arrange for money payment for info if I could icon_e_smile.gif

    pretty sure if you get tossed into VET slices . slice 2 you really need to jump into 2 bracket. I can not recall a time slice 2 filled twice in the last 10+ pve. So i would not hold my breath for a new slice 2 vet

    up to 801 so 1 around every 3 hours... less then 2 days no way we are getting 200

    Well, based on the little info trickling in, I'll probably jump in slice 1 tomorrow just to answer that nagging question. I'll let you know how it goes unless someone beats me to it.

    man if you do that I'd gift you a cover if I could. was wondering what I should do too - 1 seems to be our only hope and its a big question mark and not a good time for most of us I'm sure.

    Slice one update. Decided to jump in. Don't think it can possibly be a vet bracket. Almost full at 970.

    Leader leandro_zam at 18k

    I joined at 860 an hour ago so it is filling and am now in 2nd on one clear. Haven't played a pve in almost two months and half of the top of the bracket doesn't even have Elektra and most are 94 teams. So use that info wisely.

    Will post when it fills for whatever that's worth in case it does open a new bracket before the event end.

    Edit: it's full but likely a newb bracket. I shall feast on this bracket before being pushed back to normal ones, muhuhaha.

    Sadly, that does sound like a newb bracket.

    3 events in a row outside T150 still not enough to keep me out of vet.

    Congrats on the bracket. I almost regretted joining S5 today, instead of S1 after starting to read, but then saw that it was a noob. Surprised that you've taken a PVE break. From 970 to 2, that's one for the record books.

    Slice 5 vet now at 776, 2 days 2 hours to go.

    Leader is now Jerk at 126314. (Same bracket as Mohio and Linkdead).

    Had the same experience for the Thing PvE (The Hunt). Joined, found myself at 800th or so, and discovered that it was a noob bracket. I felt kinda bad for stomping them all underfoot so much, I think I was 30K ahead of 3rd, and 15K ahead of 2nd at the end of the event. Enjoy, though - a 4* release event is a perfect time for a holiday back to a newbie bracket. My newbie status only lasted that one event.

    Magical newbie brackets.. what's the secret of getting back into one.
    Needs a controlled experiment with people skipping x amounts of PvE and reporting back.
    Currently Newb / Vet (0pts)

    Under two days left and it looks like a slim chance for slice 4/5 but beware that there is a really stale slice 4 lurking around.... almost worth testing your luck for a newbie bracket it if you haven't played a few.

    I think I skipped 5-7 in a row, from recollection. It was a lot of time off from PvE.

    i did poorly in the two before this one and top 50 in the two before that one -- pretty sure i ended up in a newbie-like bracket, which i'm fine with since antman is fun to play with, haha.

    also, comm scaling being off helped big time seeing as the top 10 started to fill out more with those having seasoned rosters, which if on would have undoubtedly left me facing like lvl 300 enemies and struggling.

    Thanks, grew a 10k lead on 2nd on end of sub grind down. This one is over. 5 ant man covers, woo! (With growth industry)

    Yeah, the month leading up to the first ultron run and the ultron event for buster burned me out. I was in a top 100 pve alliance where if any of the top five of us weren't on schedule, we wouldn't make top 100. All those releases killed me.

    In a pvp alliance now. Kind of sad that I didn't get in on thing release for this kind of a bracket. Ant man was fun to play with but seems more limited in role than thing.

    Are you sure that is SLICE 2 cause we are still at 815 here in the VET

    Would find it shocking they would have 3 open brackets trying to fill at once (maybe that is why i never see the braket fill for a 2nd time
