    To update the slice 3 bracket, it's at 929 players, leader is Koggles with 94,818 pts. Top 10 is 73206 pts to give you an idea how hard some people are hitting it.


    I really think the days of trying to snipe a fresh bracket in the last few days of an event are over. I personally don't wait more than 24 hours to join if I'm going for a placement reward. I don't join initially, but within 24 hours of the slice start time. I've had decent luck staying top 50 in the past, but you can't miss that first sub event or your toast. This event I've been putting max effort in and keeping in the top 10 neighborhood but have no idea how the top 5 score the points they do.

    Any updates for slice 1 or slice 2? Also, what is happening in the second bracket of slice 3?

    Slice 2 just had a bracket finish within the past couple of hours (I wasn't able to monitor closely). I suspect it was not the hard bracket as it feels pretty breezy. Pshindle is first at 98k.

    It was filling very slowly so a new bracket is probably really fresh despite the possible hour or 3 of delay to post, if you can get it. Of course, there is probably at least another bracket in the slice.

    Could we get a confirmation on which bracket, vet or noob, this slice 2 is? Is the vet 2 still open? I believe the last update had it at 750.

    My slice 3 bracket is now at 623, leader is Darkknight88 at 92999 followed by Azoic at 92586. Reasonably sure this is a vet bracket (Quebbster also in this bracket, maybe he can confirm) because I have seen a few 'familiar names' in the last couple of days.

    I really hope that once the other slice 3 fills up you don't get put into this one, trying to stay top 20-30 has been sort of a struggle so far, so can't imagine what trying to get top 100 if you join now would be like.

    Azoic is definitely a vet, he's consistently in the top spot for slice 3 of just about every PvE event. I usually place 30th, but I noticed I was in a less competitive bracket for the Carnage release (I finished 7th). I'm currently holding 7th (3d 4h left) and the top 10 are fighting tooth and nail to stay at the top.

    Bummer - after a busy weekend I am now heading out on a business trip, so I'll have some time to kill at the airport and such, and was planning to jump into Slice 5, but I was hoping for a little better placement than that. I suppose I could go with a different slice... any others relatively fresh?

    i highly doubt this slice will fill with only 3 days left and only getting like 10 every 2 to 3 hours. You might get VERY LUCKY and jump on the final day but i seen these top out aroun 995



    dont know if people hate the SLICE 2 or if a lot of people are leaving or what, this is the 4th or 5th time a slice 2 never filled twice

    Slice 3 is up to 981 players. Expecting this to fill within 4 hours. My next update will be when this bracket fills (keep in mind there are double brackets here).

    saw in another thread it was up to 998 an hour or so ago so i took my chances...got tossed into the stale old slice 3 vet bracket though. wah waaah.

    The one Cymmina and I are in is at 984 as of this instant. The top 10 battle is brutal, but sort of fun to watch and be a part of. I'm #7 right now, Cymmina is #6.

    hmm rereading that i think he may have meant slice 4 - says leader was tfp888 a couple of hours ago and that it was up to 998...so perhaps a fresh slice 4 is out there?
