Well, that is very strange then, because I am increasingly convinced that I am in a newb/normal bracket. Despite entering at rank 735, I am now sitting in the top 10, and the only extra work I did was two additional clears at the end of the first sub. If this is a vet/hard bracket, it would certainly be the most relaxed one I have ever been in.



By the way, are you also there in the top 10, shriekingwillow?

Edit 1: Nevermind, I see you at #13. Don't you think this bracket is a bit on the easy side? Not that I'm complaining about it.

Edit 2: Maybe Kingpin and Falcon just aren't very attractive rewards for people? That's the only alternative explanation I can think of right now.

Tuttle is definitely a top player. He was top 5-10 in my hunt bracket. My bracket is very light. I entered at 400; a refresh or two behind in the sub and held 1st going into the final day. Weird event I guess

I recognise none of the names and half the top 10 have low rosters (lvl 80-50s). The chap in 3rd place has 3xlvl 80s and the rest all about 50. The "Vets" in this T10 are a mix of 3* transition rosters.

As posted last 5 finishes were 4, 42, 5, 151 (progression and quit), The Hunt (no score/rank).
The Hunt, i tried to join S4 in the last 30 minutes. Had some trouble, restarted the app and found myself in either a parallel/stale S4 or perhaps a newbie bracket? I don't really know as the entire event just disappeared, i didn't even receive alliance rewards.

Before that usually at least T50 other than the 2 PvEs that stradled the first Ultron event. Didn't hit progression in either and didn't care about placement.

In addition, not that it should affect anything, i still haven't started the PvP season and have only been doing DDQ.

So how did i get here?
Perhaps 2 consecutive really low scores/DNF is enough to take you out of the Vet stage?
Perhaps the event crash for The Hunt has done something
Perhaps it's pure luck/rubbish

No idea if my finish in this event will put me back in Vet or not. But skipping/really low finishes in events is fine with me if i can influence bracket selection.

I joined right after you posted that slice 4 was full and got in a new bracket. I guess I'm in a newbie bracket too then?

Just to clarify, the slice 4 update that i posted was a VET bracket. Alliance people were in it and they were keeping people updated.

The slice i joined was Slice 5.
