Might be a bit late for me to get an IceIX response but:
What determines the difficulty of the event?
From the list of featured heroes, I have a Spider-man at about level 70 but the rest are all sub 50 and I'm being presented with level 230 mobs straight away. Did I make this hard on myself by using the high level Spidey on the opening mission? Should I have used my level 1 IM35 and BWM and struggled once and then found it easier for the rest?
As it stands, I have finished 1 mission and that will be my entire involvement with this event.
I'm not terribly upset, as I wanted to take a break after grinding relentlessly for the last week, but figured I'd still be able to pick up the game occasionally and actually be able to complete one or two missions for some kind of reward. I guess I can always grind Normal Prologue missions for 20 ISO.0 -

I tried this. I'm still seeing nothing but level 230 villains.
My only damage dealers are possibly Storm and Hawkeye -- Daredevil is useless against Daken. I was able to grind away for 20 minutes in one round, and did kill one of the snipers, but I finally ran out of blue and one of the counters insta-killed Storm, and later Spiderman.
If Daken would occasionally pick red or blue tiles, this might be doable at level 230, but he avoids those colors.0 -
Restarted to no effect. Still looking at 230s.0

I am super glad they are at least letting us know there was/is a problem and they are fixing it.

restarted phone - no change (first mission is 136 from ~190, everything was 230 and still is)0

Personally I hope some people who post take this as a hint; mistakes happen and take time to correct. If some of these threads are put together more constructively and maybe some of the Devs/Reps would be more inclined to provide feedback/assistance.

Ay-yay-yay.
With no buffed heroes besides DD, it's taking forever to kill the 230 Hammers. Just wiped. It's easier fighting the 230 villains than these 230 minions...0 -
Bit late since it sounds like you're patching now, anyway, but I've been mostly out of the app (Steam client) and have just checked - still 141 goons, no change from first look. Maybe whatever the scaling does thinks I should be able to beat that with some 7s, a few undercovered 50s and Spider-Man at one blue, but I'm not sure how.
I have to ask: is MPQ written in Malbolge?0 -

Just checked again.... and the first Daken fight is now level 80.0 -
Did the close app and wait, here are the results:
Investigating Osborn are all 17's
Daken are all 53's
Runaway are 169/102/101
Every other mission is 230.
Oh, and I have 120 points at the moment.
Oh, Oh, and I can't do Runaway since I don't have Daredevil.0 -
Just had a patch come in, game reloaded, now the difficulty is more manageable. Still painful with the limited roster, but better that a few minutes ago, I now have the illusion I might be able to progress some in this. For all the hate and discontent, I for one am glad IceIX and Demiurge_Will still drop by and participate here!0

I reset my device and got the patch. It appears the missions on the left are in the "normal" range and the missions on the right are still super high.0

Totally fixed it for me.
Phone is a HTC One and tablet is Nexus 7 2013.
Guess I play on my phone until it's sorted on both.0 -

Should we be playing the missions we can do or just wait til you give us the all clear? I have already done the very first mission like 2-3 times and don't want to continue if its going to have negative consequences later. Should we just wait for the next patch?0 -
Just downloaded an update. Goons are 27, Daken's 101, everything else that unlocks after goons is 230. Is this what it's meant to look like? Haven't been around for a heroic event before, don't know how absurdly outleveled you're supposed to be or for how much of it.0
