    Not precisely true, but that's OK if you think that. Free to play game and all, that mindset comes with the territory. I spent most of yesterday in various meetings on how to make player's gameplay better without requiring additional spending on the part of players. Not the first I've been in of that sort either.
  • Of the allowable characters, my BWGS, Spidey, and Storm are level 100-80, and my other characters are level 50 or less.

    I'm up against level 230 characters, and Daredevil is mandatory. I've died 5 times in a row going up against level 230 Daken and goons.

    I've had Daredevil get up to 15 traps put on the board. But Daken isn't all that interested in Red or Blue. So far, he's only triggered one trap out of 50.

    Less difficulty would be much appreciated.

    Yeah, picture all of that, but replace BWGS with Wolverine and Spider-Man with no one, and that's what I'm looking at. I could level M Hawkeye up from 40 to 85, but that doesn't sound fun.

    My M Hawkeye is lvl 85. It's not helping...

    Stupid question/request to those that are seeing enemies that are way too high level from the start. Can you try completely closing out the app (or alternatively, restarting your device), waiting 5 minutes and popping back in and see if they change? I know, I know, I'm just asking you "Have you tried turning it off and on again" but it's possible that if you're staying in-game and the levels are staying that the server thinks that everything is hunky dory and not updating the levels properly when they should have.

    IceX, there's one thing that would make a MASSIVE difference to me - make the cover drops in some way related to a players existing roster. I'm not saying every cover should be a 4* Wolvie, but seriously, I've gone weeks without seeing a useful cover, rendering Tokens all but useless.

    If difficulty can be related to an individual player's performance, why can't the rewards? This would help with balancing too.
  • I've been playing this event for an hour and 20 minutes now, I have 8 x 3* characters at level 100 or over, and 4 max 2* characters and I have completed 5 missions for 210 points, top of my group has 2019 points and he has only Storm at 85, his only other useable characters in this tournament are a lvl 6 hawkeye, 25 Iron Man and 15 Grey Widow and Spiderman with 1 cover each. I don't even know what to say?

  • Unless the game is one of those 'we beat you up and you pay us to stop the beating' freemium games (like the ones that actually make a ton of money), the goal of providing good gameplay is generally consistent with turning a profit, even in a F2P game. This game doesn't come close to this kind of abusive behavior (which is probably why it also doesn't make eyepopping profits, because apparently a lot of people is quite willing to pay to make the beating stop). When I first played the game, I expected the health pack to refresh in 8 hours. That'd be in line with standard 'pay us to stop the beating game', and was literally like 'what do you mean health pack actually refreshes in a reasonable timeframe relative to your playing? That can't be right!' If anything, the older incarnation (96 minutes?) may have resembled this behavior more.

    What are the levels supposed to be? Happy to compare and test, as I haven't started the event yet, but I need a baseline or some benchmark to compare to to know if my enemies are too high or not.

  • It might help if we post our stats for the missions and our roster so D3 (or us) can spot any trends?

    I'll use the mission "Like Father Like Son" since that seems like a standard boss battle.

    My usable roster is:

    Spiderman 92
    Wolverine 85
    GSBW 53
    IW 50
    Storm 34
    Hawkeye 30
    DD 20
    MBW 1

    At least at a first glance I don't see anything outrageously difficult about this setup. My nonusable heroes are roughly in the same level spread.

    How are the levels supposed to be determined? I checked this morning and first mission was around 110lvl. still haven't entered and they are now 70ish. this is on PC. Haven't opened on my phone yet today.

    Turned my phone off, tinkered with a script at work, turned it back on a few minutes later, booted up MPQ, level 196 soldiers and pyro in the first mission. Same as before.

  • Closed the app completely.. Tried restarting my device.. Still the same.. No change for me as well..

    The trick is to sell the covers you're not going to use. Sell thor, sell all your 1 star characters even if they are maxed. Thor is useless unless he's in a buffed tourney. Every one star is useless because they have too little life and they will get 2 shotted. Selling your covers makes the PVE enemies muuuuch much weaker. I just sold 3 characters and my maggia went from 230 to 101. I think it may have something to do with number of levels vs number of covers. If you have a lot of **** covers (low levels) then the pve enemies will be so easy because the computer thinks you suck for having such a bad squad of heroes.

    Sorry, I'm just catching this post - this isn't true. Selling your covers has no effect on the difficulty.

    We've made a bunch of adjustments to the difficulty this afternoon.
