Token pulls...what is going on?

My heroic and ultron tokens did okay, but my DDQ pulls have been absolutely atrocious. Hulk finally came around and I want some more Falcon and LCap, so in went 40 tokens.

Results:

3* (1)
-Beast (lol)

2* (39)
-2 250 HP packs, rest garbage

14% for something good my eye!

Seven three star covers is phenomenal, but really disappointed I didn't pull any Cyclops or Cages and I still don't have a single Iron Fist.

Well,
I am now on 22 gold tokens without a single 3* or 4*.
I did get one 3* from a standard cover though, which was exciting until I realised it was a Daredevil cover, the only one of the three colours of his I have maxed.
It's like the program knows...

Just hit my season 10 pack for 4k progression, 5/10 on golds.. 4 3*'s and a 4*.

I see the changes for the better.

Hit my season 10 pack last week also. Got 4: Cyclops, Loki, Black Panther and Magneto. Which is better than my usual draw rate. Especially event tokens. Totally cursed with them. Ultron included.

Started stockpiling standards and opening them on mass until I see gold like someone on here suggested. Had 80 standards and struck gold earlier ( Blade green) on the 30th so stopped opening again.

Although it worked today, it will be awful if you opened a hundred or so at once and get nothing!!

11 tokens is an extremely small sample for the DDQ tokens. it's true that the odds you will pull a 3* are even less than advertised. For me it was 1/41 before it went to 2/70. Then I opened three 3* with the next 10-15 tokens, only to return to a 2* streak. Yesterday I opened 5/10 from the season 10-pack so I was expecting a return to the 2*-land immediately and the game didn't disappoint. 0/20 today FROM DDQ and any hopes for a Blade went "poof". If you don't want to abandon your sanity, just think of the tokens as extra ISO and don't expect much. Also, if you have money for spending, skip the token offers and do something else with it. The Witcher 3 is out today, and even at €60 it's a bargain compared to the MPQ prices.

Tokens are pulling so much better now then previously, just this morning

I woke up to 2 Hulk event tokens (go casual alliance hitting the mark, first time ever!) and 2 gifted regular recruit tokens... then did my DPD.

6 tokens, 6 gold covers.. 100% on 3 different types of tokens

from Tacos
and from Hulk
and from standard recruit tokens

So I am both VERY unlucky and VERY lucky.

I have pulled 1 gold cover from taco tokens since it started. (it was 1000 hero points so not complaining). That being said I pull 6+ every ten pack of heroic, and roughly every other heroic pull for me is a gold (I buy the 100 hp token a day). So, I HATE taco tokens but when I get heroic tokens or even the progression tokens from the various PvE/PvP events I am at about 50% gold.

Eh, been on a very, very dry spell myself.

In the 20 days since the supposed change, the only pulls I've had that were not 2*'s from Taco's, Events, or Heroics (with the exception of a HB I pulled from the compensation 10-pack for Ultron Round 8) were yesterday: a Incredible Hulk I didn't need, and 250 HP from the other. Every other token has just been ISO trash.

My luck was much, much better before the change, but maybe I've just been having very bad luck lately.

my luck hasn't been bad overall lately but man, just went through 12 tacos since this group is one I'm targeting - patch/blade/torch all could use covers for me. not one ***. I did get a squirrel green, pun red, and px tokens from other pvp/pve tokens lately so not all bad. a usable patch would be great. already have a solid loki and my hulk is progressing (up to lvl 91 now) but my patch is at 1/3/- (lvl 66) and pretty much worthless now since I can't put any decent team together where he tanks for tbti. I have run him against the 20-40 lvl trivial nodes, but that's no fun.

Seems like I'll have a really good streak of luck followed by horrible luck. I must be in my good luck streak because within 2 days I pulled a green Squirrel Girl and Black Quicksilver from standards and 250 hp from a taco.

This is the single worst run of luck with tokens since I started playing MPQ. And that is after the supposed changes to increased draw rates. That is appalling luck, however you look at it.
It is now laughable how bad these 'rewards' are.

And developers - this is NOT encouraging me to spend real money on tokens, or covers. In fact, I feel so cheated by these 'rewards' that I am deliberately witholding from spending anything on this game. Simple behavioural psychology - if you give me nothing (and I don't include DDQ in this), I will give you nothing.

If I genuinely thought I got something from time to time, I would be spending more. As I am now pissed off by these 'rewards', I am keeping my money in my pocket. No 3* wins in nearly two months. Shame on you.

You shouldn't spend real money on tokens except the rare occasions when they run 50hp specials. It's throwing money away.

I'm on a terrible DDQ pull streak. I think it's been at least 3 weeks since I've gotten a gold cover (so at least 42 tokens). But before the patch that changed the token percentage, I had about a 3 week streak of getting a gold cover almost every day from either event or DDQ tokens. So I guess I can't complain too much.

I stockpiled 115 standard tokens and I believe it was one of the last few that I finally got 1 gold.
I was hoping for at least 2 but I guess 1 is better than none.
Since then I've been opening them in batches of 5 - 15 and easily surpassed 100 standards with zero gold.

I've had a horrible 3 week dry-spell.
I've had no HP or 3 from DPQ for about 3 weeks.
and today I finally got to 100 standard tokens which I usually open to find three to four 3/4 's
Nothing - only 1&2 's.

I guess they changed the %'s?

Is anyone else getting 3 's from standards? Or am I being personally punished?
