    Reaching final progression on HoD, opening an LT to get a Luke cover, which brings him up to 290 for an LT, which gave me a Jean cover and giving me 3CP to bring my CP up to 20, which I used to get a Lockjaw cover to bring him up to 280 for another LT, which gave me a Rogue. Combo ended there, but that was the nicest chain I have had in a while

    Got my 12th 5* Thor today... Come on a little bit of luck (and a lot of energon)... Nothing can stop me... Probably

    Can't still quite believe this but I just pulled 3 4* from 5 heroic tokens (Black Panther, Shuri &R4G)! If that wasn't enough they gave me 2 bonus heroes America Chaves covers! To top it off, the green cover pulled for R4G means they can now be champed! I figure that is my luck for the whole year done in about 3 minutes today...

    Getting to 575 in Lard of Thunder.  I'd beaten the seed teams with my Troll team of level 262 3* Thor, level 138 Bagman, and level 1 MBW.  For once I had more than 3, and left it at about 180.  Then I quickly started getting some losses and defensive wins.  A lot of defensive wins.  Without playing another match, I've hit 575 for the CP, and right now I'm at 550.

    (I don't like leaping into PVP with 5* teams, lately my nodes have been full of the usual suspects: essential, pick any 2 of DD, Thor, Gambit, BB, and I don't want the hassle.  So I beat the seed teams with my Trolls, and then gently escalate with retaliations, hopefully never even having to bother with 5* and so never exposing myself (ooh, er) to the masses of Gambolts.

    If I don't get seed teams, I pretty much skip the event.)

    Actually having an enjoyable, stress free ride to 900 in Lord of Thunder.

    Seeds plus a few for 300 on Thursday. Climb to 650 on Friday. Finished the job on Saturday.

    No shield hopping. Minimal hits between play sessions. No attacks during the final push.

    The only bad part was my phone freezing up during a fight I was close to winning that would have taken me from about 835 to 870, but instead went as a loss dropping me to about 810.

    I wish it always went this way. Then I wouldn't hate pvp so much.

    Had three 3* Bonus Heroes on Friday night, and all three gave me an LT as a champion reward. Then I pulled the LT from the Webbed Wonder vault with a token from the wave node tonight.

    I have 9 LT sitting there unopened and I'm not even twitching right now what madness is this

    I've been playing super casual lately, really burned out on the game, so I figured that I would at least do some ddq today. Maybe I'll pull something cool from the taco vault like that red Carnage I want. 

    First token: 5 health packs. I mean ok. I had like 14 already.
    Second token: 5 health packs. Ummm ok.
    Third token: 10 health packs Ok fine, sheesh, I'll play the game a little more. Get off my back.

    So I said that I'm really burned out and didn't even feel like playing Webbed Wonder and it's my favorite event but I figure that I'll join sub 2 and get some points so I can at least get that Drax cover and the Howard on sub 3. Like 600 people in my bracket, yeah not gonna worry about placement just gonna do my clears. Didn't even look at the top 10. Finish everything and... I'm in the top 10 going by the amount of people that did full clears and I started my clears when there were only like five hours left in the sub. "HOW?!!!!" I love dead brackets.

    So I even did my grind super early too and that put me around like 5th/6th. Came in with super low expectations and now I have a shot at two America covers. I mean what the hell. So I celebrated by spending some cp and got Quake. "Quake's symbol. Oooh let me guess yet another green to put her at like 50/5/1?" Nope, a yellow this time. "Yellow? What is this voodoo?" So in my queue are two Fury covers waiting for a h4h offer, the first cover expires in a few days, and I have a green Quake cover that expires in about a week so maybe I can get a h4h offer for that too. Demi, hook me up.

    Seeing the red Silver Surfer in Heroes for Hire was pretty sweet. My Surfer was 3/4/5, so I could use either blue or red to champ him. However, my Black Bolt is 5/4/3 and should be coming soon as fivestar essential (maybe for the new release next weekend?), and if they offer a black cover instead of a green I will be a very happy camper indeed.

    If it's a case of 1 or the other for you, the offers will overlap for 17 hours while both events are active. You can then decide which to hit.

    Grabbed a 10-pack from the DPvMPQ Vault because there's a green Teen Jean cover in there that I could really use. Didn't get it, but I did get the LT, a couple of 3*, and a really nice spread of 2* given where my farm is at right now.

    Just a minor thing, but I pulled four P4nther tokens from two HTs. Two HTs were P4nther and one came with a BH P4nther, then a third HT gave me Wasp with another BH P4nther. From 1/2/2 to 2/4/3 in the span of a few seconds.

    Ended up third place in pve after a blind jump into sub 2. First place on sub 3. On my baby account I got first place with only having the 2* and 3* essentials. Feels good, man, feels good.

    My Heroic token luck continued with an Iceman cover which again gave a bonus hero America Chavez and also a legendary token as Icey's first champ level. :)

    I've been saving up to try for a JJ when she hits tokens, but when I saw that Chavez's Green was going to be in progression for DP vs MPQ, i preemptively set my bonus hero to her. Mine was (1/2/5), so I was expecting a cover race. I pulled a champ level for Hobofist off of a heroic, and it came with a bonus red chavez (2/2/5). So It is now in the realm of possibility that I could champ her before that cover expires. I'm nearly at 300k iso as well, because I'm still trying to champ my 13 cover rogue. Guess she'll once again take a back seat to save this cover on the vine.

    This is similar to where I am also. A few weeks back I was talking about who to champ between Mockingbird and Th4r. Next thing I know I pull a 14th Riri and so she gets champed! My iso took a massive hit, so back to saving up and then I got a 14th Th4r cover, so that sorted that out right? Nope because then I pulled the green R4G cover I need to champ him. Both have covers on the vine. So now I'm trying to see if I can get the iso to champ both in time and Mockingbird hasn't moved an inch. As R4G expires first, I guess they will get the vote as to who goes first which will put me back to chasing iso again for Th4r... *sigh* but in a good way...
