What is your post-patch team?

So no griping about changes. They've happened. Players are either quitting or continuing to play. Those of use who still play the game: Who's your A-Team?

I was one of the 99% with Thorverine on my squad, but the temptation of 34K ISO and 550 HP was just too much allure, and I sold them both. I now run:

Punisher 3/5/5 @ lvl 84
IM40 3/5/3 @ lvl 82 (to become either 5/5/3 or 4/5/4)
OBW 3/5/4 @ lvl 70 (to become 3/5/5)

This team has been suprisingly effective and enjoyable for me. Yellow and purple rush at the beginning to generate AP via Recharge or Aggressive Recon. Green goes to Punisher's Judgment followed by a molotov for a boosted AoE. Blue is now reserved for heals if needed and if not, a Ballistic Salvo (which is now totally attainable with Recharge and OBW's Epionage). Red spam by Punisher to KO tanks. Plus bonus of having full color coverage. It's not as easy as Thorverine attack tile spam followed by Thor's cycle, but it's new and more fun IMO.

I'm trying to figure out what X will end up being. I've got a Grey Suit Black Widow (5/3/5) that I originally had envisioned for the spot but now I'm tempted to finish my patch and sink a bunch of ISO into him. But my hulk is built wrong for a strike tile strategy and one ideally wants Loki with Patch so . . . I 'm not sure.

I honeslty prefer Thor to Ares post nerf. He does better, more consistent, AoE and none of his abilities have drawbacks. On the other hand, Ares hits harder with most of his skills but they have drawbacks. Onslaught giving green to the enemy can be painful. Sunder hits for almost half the damage dealt; the countdown tile doesn't stick around long enough. And Rampage only does big damage if Ares is really low on health.

When I need to down someone quickly I'll probably bring Ares. When I transition from OBW to Spider-Man, I'll probably stick with Thor on a permanent basis. That's still a while off though.

It's easier to talk about 2 person team because there's usually a required character.

I'm still using OBW + Wolverine. Punisher needs a lot of levels before he's better than Wolverine still.

Same teams I've always been running.

I wonder if people actually bothered to give them a try or just knee-jerk reaction and sold em. Still seeing plenty of Wolverines in top leaderboards. After using him myself, he's still quite good. Just not as good as Patch which is how it should be.


Obw could use some adjustments. Personally I'd just nerf her health so she's a glass cannon. We still don't have many glass cannons in this game.

Due to post-patch enviroment, it is not a bad idea to use our less favourite characters too.

They will probably lose health in 1-2 turns, but it is less likely getting attacked in current enviroment.
Also, this is now working solution as tanking.

Right now I'm running Punisher 3/3/1; Astonishing Wolvie 5/5/2 ; oBW 3/5/4 all very close to their level cap.
I have a Patch 3/2/1 (way short of his cap) that I'm hoping will replace Wolvie soon and a Spidey 1/2/1 (at cap) that will hopefully get a bunch of covers from the Best There Is tournament and replace oBW.

I also keep a maxxed Bullseye, a 5/3/4 Ares (at cap), and a 3/4/2 cStorm in my rotation when my guys get hurt. My Thor just got a couple of covers, but he's still 3/3/3.

Currently running Level 100 3/5/5 Punisher and 5/5/3 Spiderman, alongside whoever I'm forced to use (putting in OBW as a third if permitted, until I get my Magneto high enough in level for that instagib purple).

Let me start by saying I don't think the Thor/Wolvie nerfs are as harsh as people are making them out to be. However, after playing them so much for the past 3-4 months I've gotten a little bored of them, so I decided to sell them because of the increased buyback price, and so I could level some 3 stars.

Current team is Lvl 102 5/3/3 Iron Man, Lvl 97 4/5/3 Punisher, and Lvl 85 5/5/3 OBW. Covers all colors in use. It's got a pretty good variety, with both single target and AOE damage, recharge/steal, anti-countdown, heals, strike tiles, and anti-tank. If I'm going against a weaker team or I need a stun, I can swap in Lvl 85 5/5/3 C.Storm.

Eventually thinking of replacing OBW with Spidey, depending on nerfs.
