A Reminder About Negs

It's obviously a "like" "not like" system since there is a button to report spammers and such.

There is absolutely no mention of it in the site rules so use it like you want, it's funny how OP tries to pass his opinion (yes his opinion is supported by other but still just an opinion) as Forum rules.

And if people don't feel like leaving a comment they don't, if it was mandatory then we could not vote without leaving one.

I think the original intent behind the thread was good. Some people take negs seriously because they don't know any better and that may discourage forums users from contributing at all. A lot of people posting 'amazing ideas' get downvoted not just because their ideas are short sighted, but because they act like the cure-all to everything. Explaining why their ideas are dumb often gets you downvoted by the OP, so it's easier to leave a neg and move on without making yourself a target. I do agree that it's hard to distinguish between a reasonable inexperienced user vs an idealistic manic one at first glance, but do feel a certain lack of compassion lately due to upcoming nerf dread.

It's funny what gets upvoted and downvoted. Lots of people post threads basically saying "GIVE US MORE HP AND ISO8" and get tons of upvotes.

I figured, since you seem to want people to downvote you so badly then I'd be happy to oblige. I was tempted to simply go through your post history and keep on negging, but I tried to keep to only the most recent spate. These included two new threads in General which duplicated existing threads which were still on the first page and a handful of posts baiting or attacking other people.

The king of tiny kitties has pulled examples out of context to prove a point. Just like in a court of law, you should quote the entire post, Not just the parts that help your argument.
