In my Smash Hit bracket, there were a few people who got past 1000, but the number has certainly dropped. I hope they decide to lower the progression rewards at some point, because even the 3* at 800 is now very hard to reach; almost impossible if you don't already have a near-maxed featured character.

I have a level 114 Daredevil (bumped to 199 in this event). The minute i fought off the first battle in PvP suddenly i get pitted against level 2 maxed 2*'s and a maxed DD.

I noticed such behavior off the game even when i was playing the Hulk Smash event... Any idea why this is happening? earlier i could do 500 - 700 points quite easily (sometimes more as well), however, in the last 2 events its a struggle to reach 300 itself.

P.S.: Please consider me a newbie (only my 2nd post here). Hopefully this is not a stupid question to ask here. On another note, i am actively looking for an alliance so if you would be kind enough please do oblige

I don't see much difference, but I have made sure to start early and do a slow climb. Works pretty well, but I haven't tried to go for 1000 yet.

I'm on day 467 and I've never enjoyed PVP less. Matchmaking this season is ruining the game for me.

managed top 100 but not before skipping some majorly **** matches. I guess I should be thankful the game paired me up with 2* rosters who have daredevil buffed past 150, those were at least easy

Hit 927 with 6 1/2 hours to go. Started seeing 3-5 point matches but teams were of comparable level.

290 DD 220 thora/xf/nick <-- usual what i saw (from 150 pts ) and still seeing and am just at 400 pts now .

and to clarify more , my roster dont have any single maxed out 3* , best i have is groot at 140 . couple more over 100 , and thats it .

so can anyone tell me , how the <omitted word> can i ever stack up ?

In slice 1, my old equilibrium was about 500 and max non-shield climb was about 825.
New equilibrium is about 250 and non-shield climb is 600.

This is with lvl 130-166 Thorhood, patchloki.

I think the bigger problem with hitting 1000 is what happens if you're in a dry time slice. For example if you're sitting at 900 and all 5 other guys with 900 or more is shielded in your time slice, you're not getting anywhere close to 1000 regardless of what the underlying system is. Given how easily you can hold a significant placement rank with a sub 1K score there's more incentive to just be shielded for extended time and this takes more players out of the pool of available targets.

My time slice/bracket has pretty much been dry as soon as I hit that previous score. Everyone who was in top 10 were shielded for hours and have been for there for a while. There is very little movement going on from what I'm seeing in this PvP and my bracket ends in 4 hours. Doubt they will be dropping shields as my net gain was less than 20 points and I had enough to 2 queued up fights to hit 1k. Did not happen.

There's something really wrong right now. I just took a -40 from three defenses, ok, but two were from the same guy. Just cicling a node and found him twice again. The targets are like 10 different people over and over on skips.

Frustrating. I'm early in the 2* -> 3* transition. My go-to PvP team is typically **Daken/ **Wolverine, both lvl 94. I have several 3* heroes, but they're all hovering between three and four covers.

PvP success has completely eluded me so far, so I thought I would try something different this time, and hold off even choosing my time slice until late. I jumped in the fourth slice tonight with about four hours to go. My plan was to grind for an hour until I hit the wall, then shield if I felt I could cling to a top 100 position.

Well, it didn't work out. I ran into a wall of lvl 166 Lazy Thors and Hulks after about 7-9 matches, three of which were the initial seed teams. Oddly, I was never attacked by another player, so no chance for a lucky defensive win. I'm giving up and going unshielded at just 125 points, good for 227th place at the moment.

Am I missing something obvious? Is this to be expected with a 2** roster?

Bonus question - Will alliance teammates score more total points if they join the exact same time slice, or is that irrelevant? I've searched the forums, but can't find this explained.

jesus this is pretty bad.
i was doing good before these last 2-3 events. usually placing in the top 5-10

but i'm barely going to get top 100.

just a huge gigantic wall of maxed out girl thors and wolverines.
top 10 this slice i am in is 831-1139 points. wow. ridic.

I'm not sure how 831 is "ridic" but I don't see how you were getting top 5 without that. You must have been getting lucky with your bracket placements.

As I mentioned earlier, there was indeed little movement at the top and I didn't budge from my Top 5 spot while I slept for the last 5 hours. Ended with 963 with two of wins while shielded. #6 Did not reach my score previous score before shielded in the end either.

Literally, my top 3 guys and only maxed guys are level 94 2* Thor, Daken and Wolverine. 95% of the match ups were against maxed level 166 3*. A good 80% of those had level 200+ 4* Xforce and/or Lady Thor.

If I managed to find an opponent which I consider even, < level 120 roster, if I managed to beat them, they beat me right back.

It seemed like my sole purpose in PvP is so somebody else can get easy wins and points.

This MMR is beyond silly to put it mildly.

Devs please tell me how you intended me to play and enjoy PvP. I'm out of ideas.

Well, so much for PvP if this doesn't change. I have two 3* at level 105ish with a couple of maxed 2*, and I run into a wall of 166s and XForce everywhere after 3 games. How the heck am I supposed to do anything with that? I'd have to use the loaner and two health packs per attempt, with low to no chance to even win the fight.

Every time I did a match, as soon as it was over I would be bombarded with "YOU LOST -15/20 POINTS"
Didn't even bother trying to get top 100.

Seeing nothing but super maxed teams ever since my 4/5th match with 125 points.
Super hard for me to even get to 400

Wish I had an answer for you but months ago I would normally join the 1AM EST ending time. This season, due to scheduling conflicts with the game I play, I finish my PvPs at 4/7PM EST. I join early, I climb to maybe 400, sit unshielded and climb later the next day before deciding on 1 of 3 outcomes. Leave myself unshielded and just play during the last hour for top 100 placement, Shield (3 or 8hr) until end, or Shield (3hr) and attempt to hop later and drop another Shield (8hr) until end if my placement looks good.

my resuslt per event usually vary from rank 30 to 60 i dont mind as long as i get rank 100 or more. i end 130 now and there was a 3rd world war to get in the rank 100 that you usually see on rank 30 and above... why? are ppl crazy for kamala? is the only way that works now to have a fully event champ so ppl dont pester me anymore. the new match making sucks? i dont know but the frustration cap blows sky high with this event.

not to mention how slow and boring was the hulk event. sometime ago you can get 2 stars oponents that boost you to the top as ladder scales. now it cant be anymore borring BUT thats not all, barrely see any 2 stars arround but 4 stars are having their day (considering myself a 3 star player).

i never complained on a forum... not even when true healing changed to s*** healing or farce healing or cholesterol healing w/e is the name, and that nerf hurts but still the game was playable but what now did i need 500 hero points to end on rank 30 again?

one positive note of this change, the damage yo receive when loose a round isnt that high anymore. for the rest of the event it move's at the speed of a tar flood!!! slow boring and stagnated early than it should. hope the fix this soon...
