Not super concerned about this week - need a purple for Kamala, and a green and Purple for Iron Fist, and like four blues for Ragnarok, but I should get all of those but some of the Rags covers from the next two DDQ (big) cycles after this one, so 2-3 months tops, and IF is severely overdue for PVP rewards, so he may be done sooner. And Rags is terrible, so I don't care that much.
I'm hoping they add the new people starting next round; have 30 tokens saved up for next week and most of the 3* covers I need now are for Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and Vision (and Bullseye, but he won't be added).
Also hoping IF PVP rewards come this season, he's only been rewarded once if I remember right - probably black rewards, everyone seems to have five in that and missing other colors, so hopefully we get those.
I'm still up in the air about spending next week: do I go for the new characters (need any color in all three) or do I continue to hoard and hope the rotation goes to "even" for next IF run, giving even more chances? Hrm....0 -

Opened 77 tokens this morning and got the good news/bad news drill. 1000 hp (first time ever), 5 x 250 hp, 12 3star covers.
Bad news - 6 Rags (including 4 green), 3 IM and 3 Cap M. Gigantic 0 fer on Fist and KK. They remain 3/1/4 and 1/1/0 respectively, as I have now missed on 137 tries for either one of them from DP tokens0 -

That's about where I'm at. I got about the same amount of HP the first time I opened tokens, but went 0-50 on IF (did get one KK) in that one. Now 30 more and I'm 1-90 IF (now not needed) and 2-90 KK (one not needed).
I still think hoarding is the way to go - play your odds. But it does make you scratch your head when you get to the edge of the odds on what you should pull for them. Zero HP out of 32 tacos this morning hurt almost more.0 -
Just opened 29 Tacos and got 2 3* covers,,, at least I needed both covers (Cap Marvel Yellow + Iron Fist Green). Can't really complain though, also got
Can somebody remind me how the stockpiled tokens work again? I have 29 stockpiled and want to make sure I'm using them at the right time.0 -

Look at OP, it explains what they pull.
Oh, except it's not updated for next week since we don't know what they have. If you assume they'll add new characters next round (end of rotation 3), and assume they don't shuffle order, we'll probably get 3rd cover for SW/QS/Vision, then first cover of BP/(whoever comes next).
The stockpiled ones you have this week will update to active next week, so they'll have that draw rate. Basically you draw everything this week (IF/KK), then again next week (assuming SW/QS).0 -

Thanks for the confirmation Cymmina. They should go QS/SW/Vision - I stacked them that way on my guess because they've been putting them out in the release order.

Oooh, June's gonna be good to me! She-Hulk gets her first blue, Gamora & GSBW get their last green (yes to sniper rifle team nuke!), Loki & Dr. Doom get their first blacks, and a lot of characters just get a little bit stronger. Only Vision, Spidey, DD, SG, Falcon, and Sentry are missing from my roster.0

I didn't track 3rd covers, at start of 1st and 2nd I wrote down for myself:
Cover 1: 11 needed, 8 needed again
Cover 2: 9 needed, 7 needed again
But of course, you fill in more along the way. I haven't tracked what I need for awhile, wow. My document on 3*: "Updated 4/17. Three star characters: 37 characters, 481 covers, 6142 levels. Need 65 covers. Need 1266 levels."
Let's see, updating:
"Updated 6/3 Three star characters: 40 characters, 520 covers, 6640 levels.
Need 39 covers (23 from non-Vision/Bullseye). Need 1121 levels."
Downside of getting pretty fully covered: not needing much. Outside of the newest four characters, I'll need Grocket on the 10th...Mystique on the 21st....Beast on 25th....that's it for June.
First rotation finished tons of my characters though. At the start of it I needed one green for GSBW, one green for Blade, one red for Punisher, one red for Cap...several more like that that I'm sure I'm already forgetting. DDQ has been great to finish (or advance) the 3* roster.
Hey D3, want to know a few gaps? I know lots of folks say black BP. Day 439, a whole DDQ rotation through, of characters that were in since DDQ day one I'm still missing three red CMags, three yellow Grockets (current rewards + DDQ will fill that in soon), three green SG, three purple Mystique, two yellow/black Cyclops. Hope to see these as PVP rewards before another full DDQ rotation!0 -
An idea:
At the end of every cycle - either the big (all three covers for everyone) or the smaller (one cover for everyone) cycle - D3 allows the players to vote on a cover to add into the in-between time, and it will be offered during the next break. Once a cover is offered this way, though, it's taken out of the voting for next time (or maybe, say, ten times).
Maybe a 3* for each smaller cycle and a 4* for the big cycle.0 -

I mentioned somewhere I'd like to see a full 3* rotation for each cover, then a full 4* rotation for one cover. Timeline:
120 days (currently) : one of each 3* cover, collect Tacos
10 days (currently) : first color of each 4* cover, collect Chimichangas
~147 days: one of each 3* cover, collect Tacos
~14 days : second color of each 4* cover, collect Chimichangas
~174 days : one of each 3* cover, collect Tacos
~18 days: third color of each 4* cover, collect Chimichangas:
You could even run it in the exact same DDQ form, wouldn't have to change anything (except maybe not require the 4* to get the 4*? Debatable.) This lets you get every 4* cover (hey D3, you can then sell more....), it doesn't let you hoard very well for them (Chimichangas instead of tacos, can still go even/odd so can't use them all in one week), and it doesn't flood the market.
Actually, that's almost the downside (as you can see from the increasing day amounts): increasing characters increases the time. Those totals above put it at 481 days before you get one of each 4* cover. Trading in 10 tacos for a Chimichanga, or giving a Chimi away for every 75000 points (one rotation worth) earned?0 -
That would be hell on 3* transitioners who don't even have 4* covers (2 weeks of non-participation, yay
). You'd have to run those events in parallel and I doubt D3 would like that. 0
