    It was a really close finale, but I managed to hit 50th place with less than 90 points to spare. Good job or attempt to everyone in the running at the end.

    Speaking as the #1 crazy one in Ireallyhatepvp's bracket, I can say this:

    1) I did your stated optimal strategy ("play every X hrs, where X= refresh time - rubber band value, then play final 90 min", just replace 90 minutes before end with 2 hours before end). So that hasn't changed. I too saw people randomly playing matches outside the optimal strategy and was confused, I have to assume they were just trying to get more points when they could because of their schedules.

    2) I did the optimal strategy mostly (didn't quite get "every" node to 0, maybe short about 5-6 more completions), but that's because I really wanted Kamala Khan (love her new comic and she's got a good powerset). But I would think most players in the last possible fresh bracket (like you) have made a conscious decision to trade off not needing to even touch pve the first 4-5 days of the event for one day of balls-to-the-walls grinding, which is a pretty good tradeoff imo. I estimate I probably ended up playing 5-6 hours of ISO8 Brotherhood that day, which is mind numbing for one day but still beats managing refreshes over 5 days. I'm sure Kingpin is going to be even worse in the regard (though you won't see me there with you, going to relax for this one and just get Kamala progression).

    3) I, like many others, was unhappy with the 4hor nerf, but she still rocks pve and helped get me through the hard nodes quicker than most other characters can. I would spend probably ~2 hours at the end of a sub to grind down most nodes whereas other rosters might require 3-4 hours (at least from what I've read from others' experiences on the forums). So she's still relevant. That said, I think it depends on the event because I have definitely been outgrinded at the end of pve by 2* rosters before, probably because I just have more total enemy hp to plow through. It just depends on the type of pve opponents I guess.
