DPD Redundancy. ..

BUT all these comments on how "DPD" is how us 2* transitioners can build our 3* rosters is laughable
Everyone seems to be overlooking the fact we have to ACTUALLY have the 3* cover to thus earn the afore mentioned 3* cover...
Therein lies the redundancy...
Consequently we are then seemingly "Punished" for the lack of said cover by not being allowed to even complete DPD to earn the ISO reward...
Seemingly a somewhat large portion of the 3-4* players assume DPD is an avenue unto which we can transition when subsequently in fact it is more often than not a disappointing and fruitless venture. .
Dude, if you complain about not being able to get a first cover of a character, it means that you are admitting that you cannot even place top 150 in PVPs... meaning that you are in 1->2* transition? If so, yes, definitely DDQ is not for you and you shouldn't feel sore about slightly older kids having slightly better toys just because having been playing longer than you. Once you level up those 2*s and start getting 3*s from PVPs and PVEs you'll be very thankful for DDQs.
I am definitely not in the 1-2 star transition (six maxed out 2-star characters) and most times, I can't even sniff top 100. I barely squeaked into the Top 100 on the one that gave out Luke Cage as a reward, that was the last time. I hit a barrier around 400-500 points that I can't get past. Sure wish I knew how other people did it.
I think based on the top 150 number he meant PvEs, which is indeed a realistic goal for any player with a good roster. 100 in PvP is very difficult to reach for 2* players.0 -
I've loved this concept from the initial announcement. The majority of my roster at this point is 3* (41 slots, 25 are 3*), so maybe that has something to do with it? Either way, I've definitely gained a number of covers for my roster that would take months to get off of token pulls. My only complaint is not being able to get the 2000 ISO thanks to not having any 1*. Doesn't seem to make sense to me, especially because of the purpose behind DDQ, but it is what it is. I guess it gives beginners a quicker way to up their roster as well.0

Are you kidding, DDQ is a huge blessing. For the longest time I had a roster full of 3* characters with 1 or 2 covers. with DDQ I can often obtain the 3rd color cover for a character that make them much more viable.
Don't forget there are two paths in DDQ. The 3* cover, and the 1-2* path that grants a taco token and some nice ISO. That taco token is meant to help you build your 3* roster a little faster. Yeah, it's not always gold, but if all you are doing is finishing this branch every day you should be getitng a 3* token nearly every week (11% odds). AND there is a chance that if you pull it early you can use it later in the week when it is the required character to nab another cover and another taco token.0 -

This is perhaps a pedantically obvious point, but why not start saving up Juggernaught tokens for a 2500 ISO per day boost? Even if you lack the HP for a new roster slot and refuse to sell 3* and 4* characters, based on the numbers you give, you must have around 10 2 stars, and there is no way you are getting more than 2500 ISO of value per day from Moonstone or whoever is at the bottom of your 2* hierarchy.0 -

He probably has closer to 16 2*s as I doubt there are many 4*s in there. And, as you point out, offing one of those to build a low level Juggs is a no brainer. Well worth whatever ISO investment is made in Juggs (and he works in BoP).0 -
Agree with the Jug comments. My level 15 Jug cleans up that node in no time.0
