    Mine right now has a 1228 at #10; 1393 at #5.

    Remember; if you have two green IF covers, and want to build him 3/5/5, he should be coming up soon in the DDQ, and you don't need top 25 if you're willing to be a bit patient. Also, these points don't count towards anything but this PVP.

    Shielded at 748, 39th place, with an hour left. Figured the stress relief was worth the 75 hp. Top 50 would be nice; but as long as I get two black covers (and the alliance is in the thirties) I'm happy.

    My bracket got crazy at the end. I was #1 with 2 hours left. I blinked and dropped out of top 5. Then hopped and back to the top 5. Blinked again and down to #8. I managed two fights at the end to bring my score to 1299 which was good enough to steal top 5 with 30 seconds remaining. Sorry to endlessvoid! I kept refreshing my scoreboard for those last 30 seconds wondering if you were going to be able to finish whatever match you were in the middle of and take back fifth.

    The problem of course being that top finish purple cover. I missed it in PvE so had to fight for hit here. With sub 6h left I went from 1st place shielded with 1160 to 8th place, and had to hop on the expensive shields to get back into top 5. 1st was 1333, 5th was 1299, 10 was 1119.

    It will be interesting when DDQ gets ready to roll into duplicate covers, if they put in the new characters as top cover prizes, roll into second cover prizes (and put the new characters in there), or skip them entirely for a rotation.

    Edit: Hey vudu3, I saw you in my bracket (we actually tied for 5th). It did get crazy at the end. I opted to stay shielded after my hop and saw 2 44 point wins go against it. You owe a big thanks to AlexielKitty who fell from 3 to 8 in the last 5 minutes.

    Does anyone have any tips for me to getting at least in the top 100? Because everytime i play, i lose rank which is really frustrating

    Event specific: Original Black Widow and Classic Storm are boosted in this event, are relatively easy to build up, and have good synergy with each other (make sure Black Widow is in the middle so she takes blue instead of Storm, in order to trigger Espionage). Psylocke's got some good synergy with that team, if you have her. Probably going to eat some attacks on defense due to the low HP, but that's what a shield is for. icon_e_smile.gif Daken, Ares, Wolverine, and Thor all make other good, non-boosted options.
    General: Don't hit people worth a low amount of points, since you'll end up with a net loss of points if they retaliate. If you're just going for placement awards, join later in the event so you don't need as a high of a score to place. If your roster looks underlevelled compared to others around your rank, that's probably a good time to shield, since you make a good target.

    ****. I shielded at 609 and now I'm in 101st place with 12 minutes left. I've got a couple 25 pt opponents queued, when can I safely attack them you think? If I go at 10 minutes, how likely is it that I will be attacked?

    It all depends on your team and how many points you're worth. If I go for a last round, I usually break six minutes before for one round, and ten minutes for two. A lot of people push at the last minute, so there is a higher chance of someone hitting you.

    Thanks! I went at 9 minutes and just barely missed getting a 3rd battle in. Finished 88th with 656.

    Yeah, that was a fun bracket.

    As soon as I noticed the 7 crazies in the T10 I knew T5 would require more HP than a single IF purple is worth to me, so I settled for a comfy T25.
    Making T10 using only a single 3hr shield was an unexpected bonus.

    It's all good Vudu, i manage to pull a iron fist purple cover in a 10 pack i had. So congrats on making a comeback and earning top 5.
