Wonder what a good 2* only team is for this event. Probably still something like Ares/OBW/Daken though I guess since the boost doesn't really make enough difference. Maybe with the boost cStorm/MnMags/X can help me beat the 3* teams a bit faster than Mystique/MnMags/X.

Interesting... Just noticed that the token rates seem to essentially be the same as they were for Nefarious Foes, and the basic Heroic tokens. None of the boosted characters have a higher percent chance of dropping, and have the same rates as they do in Heroic tokens.

I guess the selling point on them is that even though they're Heroic tokens, the 42 pack is cheaper?

OBW(center to tank her colors) CStorm & Miss Marvel could be an effective all 2* boosted rainbow team. Yellow will help you unload team ups but also use you Crit boosts. Try to bring along strike tile team ups like Judgement, Berserker Rage for OBW to take advantage of with Espionage.

Our mpq forecast for this event:

Expect a lot of gt + xforce (like that's a suprise) in the 4-star world
For 3-star rosters, this event probably won't change much for you. Possibly more captain marvel/patch teams, and any non-maxed 3star team will have obw
As you start your climb, you might notice that you are having a hard time beating those ares/obw teams and you will probably see more cStorm/mnMags during your climb as well.
Yelena will forever be forgotten even during a event where she's powered up (just wondering: when was she last powered up (in an event besides nefarious foes))

Yep, three pvps in a row where I (and everyone else likely to be at the top of the rankings) will be running Hooded SexGoddess. At least this time Hood won't tank everything.

Ugh, I was hoping against all logic that maybe this wouldn't have the rewards. I don't have a useable 4hor, and I actually don't have any female at 166. My highest levelled is a 107 Psylocke, which is still weaker than any non-buffed 166 guy.

I suppose I'll be happy if I can even manage top 25 in this one. Bring on the 405 4hors.

First Cyclops has his red as the highest ranking reward on pvp and pve and now IF has his purple as top 5 in the pvp after the top 10 in the pve. Unless I am mistaken they said they let "luck" determine the order of the covers. I don't know about everyone else, but I find hard to believe we are that unlucky. As if this wasn't enough already, they give a buff to 4thor. Like she had any need for that. This seems like the perfect way to make the strong even stronger.

You are wasting your breath. In a game where the players are dumb (or rich) enough to spend hundreds of dollars on tokens that offer a 0.2-0.3% chance for a unique cover, there aren't enough of us who complain (of visit the forums) to make a difference. All we can do is play casually, not spend too much time here, and enjoy life.

Anyone else think this would be a more interesting tournament if they just left the guys out for an event. Maybe not offer IF rewards but it would be lots of fun to see a tourney with no x-force/patch/hulk/hood etc.

This PVP event is BRUTAL. 2* lady teams are crushing my usual 4Thor/Loki team. I'm using health packs like crazy just to hit 300 pts.

Pretty obvious MPQ favors rich getting richer. Too many "coincidences" time after time.

I've done that team a number of times on Deadpool Daily's Quest. It is a lot of fun.

I'm confused on what the rewards would have to look like for the rich to not get richer.

New 3* covers for the bottom 400 and 2* covers for the top 100? People who can score higher will always win the top rewards. That's the nature of competition.
